After the 1st year I can say that also your attitude towards the books and all the materials matter. If you're saying "Eh,I have to study this material so to pass the exams" it will be hard for you to learn it because it seems that you don't do it because you enjoy it but for passing some exams. You have to be excited that you have the source for finding the answers for your questions. And like this studying becomes something entertaining, not stressing. P.S. Wish you lots of luck for the last year!
After all, people in this situation are learning to be doctor. If they don’t care about the lessons/texts/lectures beyond the “I have to pass a test” point, something wrong is happening.
Study SMART! No matter if it seems impossible, no matter if it takes time, no matter if you have to up all night. Just remember that the feeling of success is the best thing in entire world ^o^
Guys, this smart @$$ is forgetting a major factor. Get ENOUGH REST. You'll always have an advantage and an extra push when fully rested to get tasks done at excellent quality and efficient rate.
This is honestly such great advice and I'm not even pursuing anything in the medical field. Thank you for sharing your experience and wisdom. It drives me to pursue my goals!
Study with plan day by day is the most important thing. This 2 years i understood very clearly with you and here i am studying again. I hope I will be success this situation with your motivation and ambition👌☄This year will be that year🌟
I'm still studying for the "university admission's test" here in Brazil (vestibular gostosinho pros chegados, sabor bubbaloo vencid, chéf), however, watching your videos make me feel so much closer from medicine school... my heart remembers it is my biggest dream :) It is my seven year in a row trying, I will make it 👊🏼
I believe this is the only channel about medical stuff that has kept the important value of helping other medical students and professionals without losing any of it's worth throughout the years. Thank you Kharmamedic.
Hi Nasir! I am writing this comment to tell you that You are AMAZING! I really enjoy your content. Though I am not a med student but looking at how you strive to make the right balance in your life. It really motivates me! Thank you for being here. Love and blessings! ^^
Nice to see a trainee doctor who understands that good doctors are the ones who are holistic and empathetic. I have a variety of chronic illnesses, and some doctors don't like me because I am a published scientist and thus research treatments etc.
I'm preparing for my German test(Test DAF)I Watch your video every single day because it's kind of like a spiritual inspiration to my hard days.I'll follow you forever
The tips discussed in the video not only apply for Medical Students but also for students of different majors and Even High school students!! Thank You Nasir for such good tips😀
OMG!! Thank you so much for this!! I’m soon going to be joining medical school and this has just made me know so much. Keep going on and I love your content🤍💕🥰
Honestly you're videos are perfectly timed for the class of 2022 and even better for the class of 2021. As being a member of the former, I definitely appreciate. I hope you do well in your 5th year! keep it up bro!
Notification squad, I was literally so bored scrolling down through your old videos I was just wondering when will Nasir upload the new video, so excited to watch it.
To all the dreamers out there, don't ever let the world's negativity disenchant you or your spirit. If you surround yourself with love and right people, ANYTHING is possible. Love from a small channel🙏🖤
You are superb, amazing person who isnpires me every time... I really enjoy your videos. I wish I could manage my time just like you, but I am still trying to figure out this task... And Nasir is right... I really agree him with the fact that phone or any kind of devices are number 1 distractions, just put those little devils out of your pocket... It is also big deal for me, as far as I am concerned I am addicted to facebooc and etc. So i can not get rid of it but i am trying... Thank you for these briliant videos and keep going that way. Wish you luck in everything and also whoever reads this comment...❣
You are the best! I think the most important part is failing is ok, its so tough when u work your ass off to get a good grade and fail Keep them coming, cheers!
Kharma Medic thank you so much for these videos! I sat my UCAT on Tuesday and it went so well and I'm so happy you are here giving us inspiration and motivation every day! 😁😁
Hey everyone, my name is Obinna Okafor and I’m a 3rd year medical student currently studying medicine and surgery (MBBS) for a degree at Babcock University in Nigeria. I really want to match into a neurosurgery residency program in the US (my ultimate goal is to become a world class neurosurgeon). But the downside is, our program here at Babcock university is different. It’s a 6 year program in total with 3 years for preclinicals and the remaining 3 years for clinicals proper. So, 1st year is all about doing stuff we did in final year of high school, then 2nd and 3rd year are the preclinical years all about learning anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, embryology histology and all that. After the 2nd and 3rd years, we take the 1st Medical Board exams (we call it MB1 for short) and then after that, we get into the clinical half of our 6 year program (I’m not yet there so I don’t know much about that yet). Then after 4th year, we write the MB2 exams and then after 5th year, we write the MB3 exams and so on (I think there’s an MB4 exam before graduation during final year, I’m not really sure yet). So my problem is (for anyone who is kind enough to look at my story), how do I go about the USMLE step 1 exams, cos I know it’s very crucial in order to get a residency program in the US, and I don’t know how to go about it (actually I don’t know how to go about anything regarding matching into a neurosurgery residency program in the US as a future IMG from Nigeria, I kinda need someone to guide me through the process, seeing that my schooling system here is different from over there in the US). So please, I’m begging in the name of God, to anyone that just happens to stumble across my comment here, I’m currently in a state of confusion and I really need guidance with regards to that aspect of my future medical career. I would very much appreciate anyone that can help me with this. Thank you and may God bless you. I’ll leave my email here so I can be contacted >>>> okaforo450@gmail.com
honestly I'm not even a med student... yet 🤞and im still in school but i still find your videos so entertaining its actually not even funny. Keep up the amazing work Nassir ❤️
I already see myself looking back at this video multiple times in the future thinking thanks Nasi you've saved my life😂 Good luck to you Nasir for your next year! and everyone who may be stressing!
Entrance exams for med school in couple of weeks, but have no motivation at all. Watched all youtube vids, Instagram reels, tried whatever I could, but still not motivated to study. :) Nb: In our uni, we have to be in the faculty of sciences for the first year (after high school), and score over 12/20 in our average in order to he able to attend med school entrance exams. But it was a very hard year: 1. It was online (we didn't attend any physical lecture or even went to uni) 2. We had no partials, no quizzes, no assignments, no lab... so only one mark (final exm) determines if we succeed or fail the course. 3. They postponed semester 1 exams because of Covid situations, so we made semester 2 exams before semester 1 (I know this is mad :) ) 4. We started uni in November 2020, our finals were in June and July 2021, and now we're studying for entrance exams, so it has been over 10 months of excessive studying and 4 months of exms. 5. Our results haven't shown yet, so we're studying but still don't know if we got over 12 and can attend the entrance exm (I know this is mad too :) ) 6. We don't know when is this entrance exam!!
Absolute banger as always!!🔥 Getting into med school real soon !! I'm really excited but also little nervous abt it so this video was everything I needed !!🙌🏻 Nasir your videos have always been #1 motivation for me....sooo glad I found your channel❤️🤩
God bless you. Great info. I also think those tips apply to various sciences and disciplines. Also agree with your advice on the value of time management.
I've been watching your videos since since started applying for medicine but I tried to detach myself in case i didn't make it...now that I'm starting my first year at Keele in a few weeks I've gotta say it's nice watching all your stuff now knowing that it'll apply to the next few years and I'm sure it'll be really useful 😁
Hello Kharma Medic!! I've been watching your videos since early 2020 and now I'm really taking your advice on how to be productive and how to prevent distractions during studying or online meetings etc. anyways, not to brag but even tho I'm starting in 10th grade (same school) I have my own study table that now is a bit messy BUT I organize it weekly. All I wanted to say is that you have changed my way of thinking despite you being a final year medical student and me being a high schooler, since yesterday I decided to be grateful for everything and now I feel content myself by simply taking ur advice and help. TL;DR - I enjoy ur vids since early 2020 and now I'm taking on your advice on being productive and staying positive ✨ 💚🙆

Time management is the key to "Adulting" THE POWER OF THAT SENTENCE! 🔥
Or as Thanos would say: Perfectly balanced, as all things should be.
This does put a smile on my face.
