This is close to a day in the life of a medical student as I show you how I study in medical school and do a full med school vlog of being productive at medical school. Absolutely loved the editing on this video. I totally agree about the whole being in the lecture or seminar as we call them in Australia and not having enough time to write everything down before the lecturer moves onto the next topic. At our university none of the nursing seminars are recorded and therefore we are not able to watch them online my hack is to record them on Voice Memos and listen to them at home.
Thank you so much 🤗 yeah recording is the other option but then you've already spent an hour in the lecture and need to listen to it again later. So not the best use of time but sometimes you have to

Im happy someone studies the way I do! All throughout undergrad if lectures were recorded I wouldn't bother attending because I preferred to pause the video and write things down in my own words as opposed to just hear the professor rambling on! A lot of times when I did actually go to class, I almost felt like I wasn't benefiting from it at all... my friends would call me a "bad student," but I've gotten all As so even though it may not work for them, it clearly works for me! Everyone studies differently and you just have to find what best suits you

I’m in vet school and I do the same thing. Staying home or going to the library and doing the lectures online is so much faster and efficient. I also burn out less. If I go to class and force my self to pay attention I don’t have much energy to review the material that evening.

Hi, I recently found your challenge and it has really helped me understand the different aspects of medical school as well as helping me out with my UCAT. I just wanted to know how it was moving to the UK and figuring out practical stuff like the living situations etc. I am from Denmark and that´s one of the things that scares me about moving to the UK.
So glad I could help! It’s a big change but you can do lots of research online to help you prepare for the move 😁
