Saiya, it's always a pleasure to see your comment. Yes there are a number of reasons why King Cold didn't transform - it's probably worthy of it's own video! You too mate, see you on the next one :)
In the Broly movie, Frieza wanted to wish to be taller because he was embarrassed of his height. I don't think his pride in his birth form was a reason for not developing a bigger transformation
Freiza getting buff was called the "final 'final' form" and I always considered it the 5th form, similar to cooler. The thing is, I figured freiza being the best prodigy of his kind, was able to hold the transformation without altering his body.
Of all the terrifying abilities of the frost demons one can’t discount the importance of the technology they had access to. King cold wanted his successor to be better than himself, he recognized his own flaws and as a result tried to engineer his sons to be what he thought an ideal ruler should be like. What if in his tinkering he limited the normal path of transformation in frieza to achieve massive power even while in his most suppressed form. This could be why frieza’s golden form is so drastically different in coloration to all his other forms, he had to force a new type of evolution as his fifth form and perhaps jumped the power levels of a few more standard frost demon transformation in the process, which could explain the radical power increase of it.
What on Earth are you smoking? Ridiculous nonsense with nothing to back it up. And you referred to Frieza's race as frost demons.... Seriously, how high are you? And can I get your dealers number please?

Not everything has to be from Toriyama, I mean I absolutely fucking loved the latest Dragon Ball Absalon episode and that's fan made. I just think you're an idiot
I think it's 4+5 combined. Friezas people all have a 5th form that is individual and achieved by training. Friezas 5th Form is inspired by the the ssj transformation he saw on Namek, hence the gold. Coolers form looks like a enhanced uniform from Friezas army.
Frieza based his 5th form of the super saiyan. Golden Frieza is the 5th form. Cooler made a different 5th form that’s more traditional to his race than Frieza’s Golden form. That’s what I think
Frieda has 6 forms even tho his final form is the true form but he was the small one, the long head one, the one with horns, his final form, buff final form and golden some probably wouldn't count the buff forms but I do
I consider Golden and Augmented Form to be one in the same. The reason they look so different is because the brothers designed their forms for different fighting styles. Cooler, being a more hand to hand fighter than Frieza would require a form that is large and physically powerful whilst Frieza is more adapt with Ki blast fighting and thus there was no real need to alter his body in any drastic way since his birth form was perfect for manipulating Ki already. In terms of the power gap, Frieza was always a prodigy and never had to train for his power so when he eventually did he rose to the power of the gods. Meanwhile Cooler spent his entire life training for his Augmented Form because of his shortcomings with his brother, he simply doesn't have the ability to catch up to Frieza.
It might be cause frezia was so caught up himself in beging pure evil and ruling the universe and killing anyone and anything and looking dow on everybody even his own family and henchmen that he would kill them too frezia saw no reason to train, get stronger, discover a fith from or a new evolution or work with anyone because the whole universe frears him on how evil he is.
Cooler had to have trained in order to obtain the form. Which would explain his energy control and maintaining his true form without strain. And Frieza being naturally stronger than him would have been his motivation as he planned to kill Frieza himself if Goku didn't.
@@rdoogan1259 you're clapped 😂 Golden Frieza has absolutely nothing to do with Coolers' 5th form from decades ago. Never has, never will. Cooler isn't cannon. Until he is, there's no real correlation. Could it happen? Possibly. Will it happen? Probably not. But until then, no. Just no.
@@jordanburgess1502 the correlation is that rathe Ethan suppression of their power they are both forms that increase their natural power, like SSJ forms
@@rdoogan1259 your point? That's still doesn't mean that Cooler's 5th form has any sort of connection to Golden. Golden Frieza was made to rival the power of the Gods. 5th form Cooler was made to make his character more interesting and unique otherwise he would have been a carbon copy of Frieza. Wouldn't have sold the character as well as they did if they have Cooler the same transformations as Frieza. Look at Frost. Nobody like Frost because he's nothing special
He was referring to his final/ base form which is 3 trasnformations away from the 1st or completely regressed state. Tho idk why he said that as really its only a transformed state if he devolved himself lik frieza used to to hold back
I feel Frieza could have obtained a fifth form but preferred the fourth because of it's smaller and sleeker build. I felt as awesome as coolers ultimate form was it being as big as it was made him a bigger target even with his ki control; none the less it is one of my favorite character designs.
My theory is that frieza’s race had developed genetic editing and started developing transformations as a way to increase power instantly. They started in the first form, made the second form to be bigger, have a deeper voice, and be stronger. The 3rd form got rid of some of the unnecessary hight, more power, a even deeper voice, and scary spikes all for intimidation. The 4th/final could have happened during a renaissance of sorts. Dropped all the high, spikes, voice, ect for a more sleek and compact form. Cooler than made his own 5th form for more power and intimidation. Frieza would later create his own forms in the form of gold to mock ssj and black to become a “god butcher” of sorts.
Something that i noticed is that you mentioned, "Goku would've lost since he wouldn't have trained with the Yardrats by the time movie 5 happens technically" but the movies are parallels to the show which means movie 5 Goku = Namek Goku (it'd also explain why Goku didn't use SSJ before the bird scene as that was his 1st transformation)
i like to believe cooler's 5th form was a warning that once character get to max of that species, passing it would have the individual's personality influence the form. cooler gets bulky, cooler goes gold, gohan goes beast, piccalo goes orange, etc.
in Dragon Ball Super, Frieza stated that he has never trained a day in his life however cooler never stated that he did or did not train so it could be that because of the weird genes that they both have cooler could have trained there for giving him the fifth form in question and when Frieza trained he obtained the golden form. also, something to note Frieza said that he customized his Foreman to make it gold so he could show that he was truly more powerful than Goku and Vegeta so it may be that both Frieza and cooler customized their 5th form to look like they do.
I think the simplest explanation is that he just didn't need another form. Frieza was actually born in his "Final Form" his 1st-3rd forms are actually to limit his power. Frieza is also a mutant, which is why he never had to train. Cooler is just a normal member of his race so he had to achieve a higher form in order to keep up with his brother.
Would love to see Cooler return and he could be a great rival for frieaza. Maybe Cooler would go a different route to surpass frieaza or anyone on that matter. Maybe furthering the potential of different forms to evolve or transform into???? Maybe obtaining 6th, 7th, 8th, or even a 10th evolution/transformation form on top with a mixture of something like frieaza's golden form as well????? I don't know, but it would be pretty neat to see something of that area flourish in cannon. What do yall think????
The Genetics Theory (#1) is correct, but it's stated backwards here. Frieza is the one confirmed to be a mutant in both the manga and anime adaptations. It has been stated his immense base power level was a direct result of this mutation. So it's possible Frieza was unable to take on Cooler's fifth form simply because he couldn't, or (more likely) he's simply unaware of this form as Cooler kept it hidden from him.
He does not have a 5th form because he’s has an evil Kai’s blood . So he has technically has a bit of God power . It only took him 4 months to achieve the form because of who gave him his blood . The end
I think a lot of people forget that Golden Frieza was a temporary transformation, like a Super Saiyan, and not a "form". I'd say Theories 3 and 5 make sense. Without Frieza's experience with the Super Saiyan powerup, Cooler went with what he knew, using the idea of power-repressing forms and taking it to the reverse, making an evolved form that was stronger. Frieza isn't as creative, so he sought (and found) his own temporary golden transformation that was similar to the Saiyans.
Well, I can tell you why canonically, Frieza doesn't have a form like Cooler, cause it makes no sense. See, Frieza during Namek saga, was already transformed. His first seen form is not his base form, it was a regression form, to suppress his power level. So the subsequent transformations were just getting closer, till he hit that final form. That final form is his original form.
My head canon is that Cooler got his extra transformation, and his base form power, through training. I base this off of the fact that, while King Cold and Frieza are mutants of their race, born with abnormally large power levels, Cooler is never mentioned to be one as well. While this is probably more than likely because Frieza and King Cold are canon, but Cooler's not, and so there's no real point to mentioning him, I kind of like to imagine it's because he just wasn't born with that mutation. Along with that, in Cooler's Revenge (at least in the Funimation dub, I'm not sure about the Japanese version), Cooler states that Frieza had the edge in trying to prove he was better than Cooler. Combining these two statements together, I like to think that Frieza was born naturally much stronger than Cooler, leaving Cooler to have to train in order to keep up, eventually leading him to not only becoming much more powerful, but eventually discovering his newest transformation. Could also explain why King Cold seemed to have such a liking to Frieza, while not even acknowledging Cooler's existence. Again, more than likely just because Cooler isn't canon, but for my own head canon, maybe King Cold preferred Frieza over his brother because he was born naturally powerful like him, while Cooler wasn't. This could also add fuel to the fire for Cooler, not just wanting to outmatch his brother, but also prove himself to his father.
Frieza did say he chose the golden form to mock the super saiyan transformation which makes me wonder, within his 4month training, did he ever once look in the mirror and say "yeh, i kind of like this dark purple face, lets roll with that" i wonder if he tweaked the color outcome of his golden form until he liked what he got.
I'd say it's a combination of Theory 3-6. Cooler had a motivation to surpass Frieza, Frieza had no desire for a new form because his true form was so powerful already, Frieza had no desire to train and better himself, and the idea of learning how to create a new and more powerful form never occurred to Frieza.
Tbh I wouldn’t mind seeing frieza in his 5th form. And as a bonus. Seeing him in his 5th form with the golden transformation. He is now alive after dbz super. Would be interesting to see a huge come back
Theory 7 - Cooler experimented on himself and maybe trained for a month and achieved the fifth form without letting king cold and freeze know about it.
I would say it's because Frieza didn't train for a new transformation but for a power boost. Much like how going super Saiyan does for Goku. Technically going SSj doesn't transform Goku's physical appearance outside of giving him yellow hair and blueish green eyes. It's only at SSj3 that his physical appearance begins to change. Basically golden Frieza is his 4th transformations SSj. With never training until that point he may not even know his race has a 5th transformation. Would love to see it though.
This is how I see it; Cooler is the _older brother,_ so honestly in the line of succession _he_ should be the one running Cold's Empire. But when Cold retired, Cooler was passed-over for Frieza...Why? I think it's because we see Frieza and Cold in their power-suppressed transformations, whereas we only see Cooler in his "original form." Keep in mind, that Frieza's race is so powerful that they take on transformations to limit or suppress their power, to keep it from running amuck; meaning that Frieza's transformations were the opposite order - his Final Form being what he was born as, and the original form we see him in being a Transformation that disguised him. They start out by forming an outer shell around themselves to contain their power; then they compress it into a more humanoid form. And then they finally squash it down into what we met Frieza as. But here's the headline...What if that _isn't_ a natural ability of their race? What if Frieza and Cold are actually _mutants?_ Cold is definitely powerful, even to the point where in his "Second Form" he was on-par in terms of power with Mecha-Frieza. It's obvious that much like Frieza, Cold was born with natural power talent, and only ever worked to contain that power in suppressed forms. Cooler doesn't seem to have this ability, but Frieza _does._ The reason why Cooler was passed-over for Frieza, is because to Cold, Frieza is the ideal son - someone who is just like him, whereas Cooler is "the other one;" the disappointment who didn't shape up to be much. That's why I think it happened...When they were _younger,_ even though Cooler was the older brother, he was actually _weaker_ than Frieza. It explains a lot of things; why Frieza is the face of the empire, and why Cooler resents him so much. (Oh and yes, Cooler does in fact train - probably not to the capacity that Goku and the Z Fighters do, but definitely more than Frieza. We know this based on the fact that, he knows how to suppress his power level, which he had to learn to do. And the fact that he learned Instant Transmission.) Yet Cooler was confident in the movie, that one day if they came to blows, he _would_ Kill Frieza. Because he was _planning to._ I imagine that Cooler spent years, bitterly fuming against Frieza, trying to convince Daddy that "Golden Boy" was a mistake. He wanted desperately to find a way to not only be on-par with Frieza, but surpass him as well... And that's when something inside Cooler snapped, and he was able to find the answer. See, Frieza's race uses transformations to inhibit power. But since Cooler has never needed to do that, his transformation actually _increases his power_ by giving him a larger body frame, stronger muscles and effectively a greater power output. It's something that Frieza and Cold probably would never have considered developing. And if Cooler got the chance to show it to them, they wouldn't have the chance to do it anyway. I imagine that Cooler's transformation was a relatively _new_ development, and he was waiting for the opportunity for him and Frieza to come into conflict. Or perhaps, he wasn't able to do move on Frieza, because Cold would disown him, and probably transform to fight him afterwards.
I believe just like how Frieza can Agument his form to depend on what Power Level he has the Fifth form from Both Cooler and Frieza is a Choice of Design when then get pass their 4th form. Cooler choose to make his 5th form look l that. And Frieza Choose to make his 5th form Golden to Resemble Super Sayain. The reason why are their Previous forms like 1st, Second, 3rd looks the same is because they was Copying their Father.
Golden IS his fifth form. He specifically said he CHOSE the color gold as to appoint his position in the pecking order. Given this statement, and his three regressive forms, I presume he can affect the stature shape and other specific features of his transformations. Frieza has ALWAYS been described as lazy. And been reluctant to put real effort into anything himself. Given how he speaks and the many various ways he has displayed using his ki, he is clearly quite intelligent. But his greatest flaw is that he is motivated most by emotions, and quite petty ones at that. Cooler actually appeared to have some sense of honor, as he showed up do avenge his fallen brother and father. And he put in effort when clearly unneeded, contrasting Frieza perfectly in his motivations as well. It’s no wonder he attained his fifth form sooner. Frieza was the broly of his race. A mutant born with insane amounts of latent power. And Cooler admitted Frieza had the edge until he unlocked his fifth form.
It's theories 4 and 5. Cooler being in his final form at rest alone proves that he had more discipline and likely trained, at least some to outdo Frieza in secret.

There is a simple answer. Cooler isn't cannon. Until he is... Frieza is an only child
The face shield makes them look more alien and menacing so yes I'd rather see the golden Frieza form in the 5th form w face shield.
interesting point about king cold although you mentioned it briefly, it has always been in my head.
I am convinced freezer's father had the ability to transform but he decided against it vs trunks simply cause he was too over confident and he judged trunks as a mere saiyan, in order words he did not transform and then he just did not have the chance.
thank you for expanding my knowledge today kaioshin, have a lovely weekend!
oh, yes: #enders
Saiya, it's always a pleasure to see your comment. Yes there are a number of reasons why King Cold didn't transform - it's probably worthy of it's own video!
You too mate, see you on the next one :)
Imagine if Frieza uses the Hyperbolic Time Chamber? 🤔
The foreshadow
Black freiza
The producers wanted to keep Frieza looking familiar and had more creative freedom when writing for an unfleshed out character.
@@jordanburgess1502speculation and theories for fun’s sake, and you’ve seriously never heard the frost demon reference? Man, coming off like I called your personal savior a charlatan or something, lighten up.
Tell me where Akira Toriyama ever called them frost demons. Oh wait? He didn't. So educate yourself. Speculation is all good and fine as long as there's some actual sense to it
@@jordanburgess1502 if all must fall from the holy ass of Toriyama then you must cruise around RUclips pissed off all the time. Hell you must be annoyed by his own work even, cause that guy retcons constantly.
Nah, just something like frost demons is absolutely ridiculous because it's not an official title. Not just Toriyama, but guidebooks and all other shit. Not everything has to be from Toriyama, I mean I absolutely fucking loved the latest Dragon Ball Absalon episode and that's fan made. I just think you're an idiot
Cause he already looks like "An overgrown, that thing that ChiChi keeps in her drawer"
I swear, these videos really reliable imo, as much as Carthu.
Keep going with these vids.
I think it's 4+5 combined. Friezas people all have a 5th form that is individual and achieved by training. Friezas 5th Form is inspired by the the ssj transformation he saw on Namek, hence the gold. Coolers form looks like a enhanced uniform from Friezas army.
wow yes I didn't think of Cooler's as enhanced on the battle armor, but I see it now!
I don’t think we should equate freizas w coolers fifth form the power difference is just far too different
Frieza based his 5th form of the super saiyan. Golden Frieza is the 5th form. Cooler made a different 5th form that’s more traditional to his race than Frieza’s Golden form. That’s what I think
Frieda has 6 forms even tho his final form is the true form but he was the small one, the long head one, the one with horns, his final form, buff final form and golden some probably wouldn't count the buff forms but I do
The buff form is his full power, it’s not a new form.
It might be cause frezia was so caught up himself in beging pure evil and ruling the universe and killing anyone and anything and looking dow on everybody even his own family and henchmen that he would kill them too frezia saw no reason to train, get stronger, discover a fith from or a new evolution or work with anyone because the whole universe frears him on how evil he is.
yes I agree Rakeem. Frieza might have never thought it was necessaryy
Or a reason to hide his power level.
And now we have a 6th and I’m all for it. Thanks for a great vid
Cooler had to have trained in order to obtain the form. Which would explain his energy control and maintaining his true form without strain. And Frieza being naturally stronger than him would have been his motivation as he planned to kill Frieza himself if Goku didn't.
Cooler was able to use golden form by stacking it on top of his 5th form so they’re different lines of transformation
Freezer is one of the best enemie in dbz that's why he's been in so many episodes.
Great vid!
He does have a 5th form. His golden form is his version of Cooler's.
No 😂 his Golden form has nothing to do with Coolers' 5th form. Stfu 😂
@@jordanburgess1502 Yes it does, they customize their forms.
Didn't Cooler explicitly state he's in the third 'transformed' state and that his final form was the fourth beyond that?
He was referring to his final/ base form which is 3 trasnformations away from the 1st or completely regressed state. Tho idk why he said that as really its only a transformed state if he devolved himself lik frieza used to to hold back
Since it only took Freeza 4 months. Oh if he would've trained before Namek 😂🤣 He would've beat Goku just like Vegeta
This Vid is awesome man! Much love, keep it up fam!
Thanks! Will do!
Nice video my bro (sorry if I was late I had to do a lot of work)
Don't worry that's okay my mate
@@KaioshinCurt thanks
I think Coola's form is just the same as Frieza's 100 % buffed form, but actually made it efficient.
make a what if video on : what if imperfect cell drank the entire population of the earth !
i'm a 100% sure i don't want to see a Frieza with a face mask like 5th form Cooler
I think that Freezas race can make the transformations look however they want.
Because they wanted to make Cooler special and not just discount Freeza. It's that simple.
Cool explaination ;) 😋😁
Glad you liked it
Both look good but the face shield looks more mortal combat style and that’s cool as a concept too.

Kaio, do a senzu bean video
I will be doing one soon, it's on the list ;)
They're have been so many times in my life I really needed a senzu bean
The Genetics Theory (#1) is correct, but it's stated backwards here. Frieza is the one confirmed to be a mutant in both the manga and anime adaptations. It has been stated his immense base power level was a direct result of this mutation. So it's possible Frieza was unable to take on Cooler's fifth form simply because he couldn't, or (more likely) he's simply unaware of this form as Cooler kept it hidden from him.
He just needs one more prestige (Final stand references)
Dope video
You Earned A Sub Bro
But what about “Super Dragon Ball Heroes” where cooler transforms into a Golden version of his 5th form
great vid
Well, I can tell you why canonically, Frieza doesn't have a form like Cooler, cause it makes no sense. See, Frieza during Namek saga, was already transformed. His first seen form is not his base form, it was a regression form, to suppress his power level. So the subsequent transformations were just getting closer, till he hit that final form. That final form is his original form.
If frizea transformed into 5th form during namek
he would have beaten ssj goku
Golden Freeza: "Hold my beer!"
Damn Curt your content and quality are on a new level. Great video! I do like Coolers face without the face mask. He looks diabolical.
Thanks so much Juan!! I'm trying, it's great to have you too
Frieza did say he chose the golden form to mock the super saiyan transformation which makes me wonder, within his 4month training, did he ever once look in the mirror and say "yeh, i kind of like this dark purple face, lets roll with that" i wonder if he tweaked the color outcome of his golden form until he liked what he got.
Frieza was the Allen Iverson of the dbz universe 😂
I know I'm not the highest grade of weed in the dispensary but I could have sworn his gold form would be his fifth form...🤷🏾♂️
@@kaide9325 golden Frieza is a form. Or else he wouldn't drop out of it once he reaches a certain power level threshold
he has a differnt 5th form in golden now
I'd say it's a combination of Theory 3-6. Cooler had a motivation to surpass Frieza, Frieza had no desire for a new form because his true form was so powerful already, Frieza had no desire to train and better himself, and the idea of learning how to create a new and more powerful form never occurred to Frieza.
Your summary is so great and you say it way better than I did, thanks :)
@@KaioshinCurt I mean my options were to either summarize it and express your theories in a succinct manner or quote you entirely verbatim.
There was a GT live event a few years back that actually showed what a 5th form for frieza would look like
oh Wow, I didn't know of that. Could you send me a link to it if possible please?
I would say it's because Frieza didn't train for a new transformation but for a power boost. Much like how going super Saiyan does for Goku. Technically going SSj doesn't transform Goku's physical appearance outside of giving him yellow hair and blueish green eyes. It's only at SSj3 that his physical appearance begins to change. Basically golden Frieza is his 4th transformations SSj. With never training until that point he may not even know his race has a 5th transformation. Would love to see it though.
Prodigy like Frieza would only need to train another 4 months. Good thing for the DBZ universe that Frieza lacks motivation.
This is how I see it;
Cooler is the _older brother,_ so honestly in the line of succession _he_ should be the one running Cold's Empire. But when Cold retired, Cooler was passed-over for Frieza...Why?
I think it's because we see Frieza and Cold in their power-suppressed transformations, whereas we only see Cooler in his "original form."
Keep in mind, that Frieza's race is so powerful that they take on transformations to limit or suppress their power, to keep it from running amuck; meaning that Frieza's transformations were the opposite order - his Final Form being what he was born as, and the original form we see him in being a Transformation that disguised him.
And the fact that he learned Instant Transmission.)
Yet Cooler was confident in the movie, that one day if they came to blows, he _would_ Kill Frieza.
Good job
Thanks Trav :)
Best thumb nail ever dude 👍
I imagine Frieza's 5th form would resemble Syn/Omega Shenron
Cooler was prepped for Covid all along
Cooler only has one transformation and in his base he is stronger than every form except final form it’s crazy
