Would he end up being a God of Destruction, a Destroyer for Universe 9? Well, let's see how Goku vs Frieza would look like and where things would go from there. I mean his golden form palette is quite godly, and “coincidentally” fitting for a god of destruction (purple hakai energy/ golden godly vibe)
I'd honestly like a primary purple bodied version with gold accents instead of the gold body with purple accents. But either way, still cool.
Both signs of wealth, nobility and power.
He's actually perfectly fit for a god of destruction. So much so that Berus essentially made frieza do his job for him.
Frieza is perfect because he didn't constantly blow up too many planets on a whim but he still caused destruction in a reasonable scale.
If it wasn't for his need to rule over the planets, and the fact that he would probably disregard the Supreme Kais orders. He'd actually be perfect.

I think Frieza would actually be a good G.O.D considering his experience as a galactic emperor. I also think that, despite his revenge wishes, he wouldn't actually push himself to attack universe 7's Sayans, knowing both the risks and the implications his actions might have on the multiverse, including the possibility of being erased there and then by Zeno. To recap, I'm more than sure that Frieza would have his own history in universe 9. One where he's forced to give up his original goal in favour of his new responsibilities

I've also thought for a while that, as long as there are limitations and higher powers to keep his ambitions in check, he would make a rather effective Destroyer. Much more attentive than Beerus, and less likely to blow stuff up on a whim (after all, what good is the role to him if he has no subjects to rule over?). More than likely, those who accept him as their god and don't cause trouble will be fine; conversely, a threat to the universe is a threat to his beloved empire, and you can bet he'll do something about it, for better or worse.
Just, y'know, remember that he is not benevolent, and will pursue his evil goals as far as possible if you let him.
A more disciplined, less impulsive Frieza would be an excellent fit for G.O.D. He can still be a sadistic asshole for sure, but one who isn't as self-indulgent as he used to be, and maybe even one who takes satisfaction in doing his job well.
I have to agree with both of you, he would fit nicely in the role of Destroyer IF some of his rather malevolent ambitions were toned down, which would be difficult ..
HOWEVER I think if they made, for example, Cooler a canon character and gave him similar powers to Frieza , he would be more than perfect for the role.
Frieza acts like a teenager/young adult for most stuff that happens, whereas Cooler personality-wise is more mature that has much more rationality , I tend to think that he would be the perfect fit for the role. Of course, this would never happen I guess. But it would be cool .

Frieza as universe 9 destroyer would be facinating. This is a big chance to see what frieza could do as a builder and shaper of empire.... through careful pruning and 'advising' seperate from goku and crowd to get in his way

UE Frieza would be pretty terrifying, not gonna lie. UE's boost largely comes from bloodlust and savagery, and Frieza is one of the most bloodthirsty mortals in the entire multiverse, so imagine how insanely vicious and powerful he'd become if he got the transformation. If he trained under, say, Quitela, he could potentially rival or maybe even surpass the likes of Beerus.
I think he's gonna do a mix of both. Since freeza know's that the God of Destruction role is basically just being a universal governor, he's not really gonna change much about the way he does things. That being said, it won't stop him from literally just going around making lives hell for funzies.
I really wanna draw a "Destroyer form" Frieza. Bulk him out to 2nd form's physique, as a nod to how Top bulked up in Destroyer form, and Vegeta bulked up when activating Ultra Ego. Otherwise keep his design in line with golden form, with the exception of inverting the areas of gold and purple areas of his body, his new mostly purple form reflecting the destroyer energy flowing through him.

GoD Vegeta vs GoD Frieza, now that's a fight I'd like to see.
Goku seeing Frieza on Earth's 'HFIL' was easily one of the best exchanges and mature moments for Super standards and time slot. He approached the tyrant seeing he had it good in there, a nice afterlife, to which Frieza replied to him that was actually 'HFIL' for him. Kinda cool to me, and yes, hands "slipping" were the cherry on top. Oh, I wish Super aired like DBZ...
Always surprised me that Frieza wouldn't see the big picture and train to surpass Beerus and the Angels rather than Goku. If he thought about it, when you surpass Beerus, you already surpass Goku, but if you surpass even the Angels, Goku wouldn't have a chance of even catching you off guard.
You think it would be that easy until Goku sees how strong he got and somehow gets ultra super saiyan 3 instinct Kaio Ken times 20 in the span of 2 days

Frieza 100% has the faculties to think exactly in the way he needs to to excel at this role, but is his interest in doing so going to outweigh his urge for tyranny? that remains to be seen

If it meant destroying Goku and Vegeta? I could see him ditching his dictator role just for that. His hatred for the Saiyans pretty much trumps everything else, for him.
From Galactic emperor to Universal Emperor. I can see him manipulating the whole universe to end up as one giant empire, perhaps the Trio De Danger would be rebels? Maybe this could catch the Zeno's attention. Or perhaps we see the Tyrant start a universal crusade to become ruler of the 12 universes. Lots of potential here.
I just feel sad for the Freeza Empire. So many years, and Freeza bails on everyone leaving to a different Universe.
I don't think you should feel sad because now they're all free from his tyranny. They will finally live without fear.

Frieza would definitely be a way better G.O.D for sure. To be honest I don't see Frieza doing any kind of attack on U7, because the Omni-Kings won't let that happen plus Goku is there friend. This should definitely motivate everybody into getting stronger, because of the possible threat of Frieza returning from U9. Finally I could definitely see Frieza bringing his Forces in U9 for sure. 👍 Anyways good start to this two episodes part, and looking forward to the next part Saturday.
This development would be ultimately best for the 9th, because they would be getting a new, much more stricter form of order, which is exactly what they needed. I hope Masako mentions someone who actually recognizes this.
I'm sure Freeza would improve Universe 9, but it's to ultimately gain favor with the gods to lure them into a false sense of security as he schemes to gather the Super Dragon Balls once they are recharged
I think Freeza would be the worst tyrant U9 has ever had, but at the same time the best Destroyer god they have.
There's not really much in the way of bureaucracy above him now, just the sword of Damocles that is the Omniking
It's safe to say that since Frieza became U9's new God of Destruction, it will also mean that all of the members of Frieza's army will happily live in their normal lives without living under Frieza's cruel tyranny

This is a pretty interesting turn for the G.O.D Frieza idea. Tho, considering the set up of Frieza turning to the universe fillled with rowdy rebels, Id doubt his plans would have gone that smoothly... Would have liked to see more interactions with the Trio De Dangers at the very least.

I feel like Frieza in this instance would use this as a stepping stone. He'd be VERY likely to unlock something like Vegeta's Ultra Ego eventually if he kept it up, IF he kept it up... But I think he'd start destroying the useless planets right away, ACTUALLY doing the job of a Destroyer God for quite a while. Probably years honestly... And it would only be well into the GT-Era that he'd come back.
When he DID come back, he'd be very experienced in using his Hakai energy, and the Supreme Kai of Universe 9 would have a LOT more experience as a Kai, (being forced to take his responsibilities seriously for once) too!. In general I think it would be a good experience for Universe 9...
Until Frieza decided to actually impose on Universe 7, and his old stomping grounds... Possibly wanting a wish on the Super Dragon Balls... (Maybe to have access to that "Ultra Instinct" power he saw Goku use during the Tournament... Or some additional sort of Immortality? ... Or most likely, wish for the obliteration of Universe 7. Who knows.)
And of course this would naturally come with him actually fighting against Goku and Vegeta.... Likely winning, and just a good ol' fashioned slug-fest.
I think Freeza will be effective in the rold of God of Destruction, not good or bad, but effective. Also I can't wait for his reaction to learning his life is tied to the Supreme Kai, is it possible for him to groom a better Supreme Kai that will be his puppet or lacky? Maybe Ginyu has his time to shine! Otherwise I figure another tournament with their universes on the line is the only chance for Freeza to get a go ahead and deal with both Beerus and Goku.
I think Frieza will become the absolute best God of Destruction possible. Because what it requires of him is what he wants. Basically he HAS to do the job to get to his utmost goal. And Frieza isn't about to half-ass things and cost him the ultimate prize. So I see Universe #9 becoming a lot greater in the ironic fashion that it's the best lives their people could be living... but it wasn't done on their behalf.

I wonder if G.O.D Frieza will make the Trio De Dangers hos equivalent to the Ginyu Force..it could definitely work. Also I can't wait to see Roh have to sweat under Frieza and do actual work for once. It's either that or Frieza can find himself a new replacement.

I am very stoked for this what-if. As someone who felt let down we didn't see Freiza's vow to take down the Deity system ever bear any fruit before Super was canceled; this is gonna be juicy. Frieza for all his evil has the trappings of fitting into the G-o-D position. I mean most of those guys are psychopaths themselves so in a way Freiza fits the bill instantly; which adds a lovely level of irony that one psychopath intends to destroy a system full of psychopaths and sociopaths. Given how utterly horrifying the Deity System in Dragon Ball is when you think about it; you kind of WANT Frieza's plan to work... Just with the caveat, he's also gonna get his vengeance on our heroes as well...

To be honest, I think a role as GoD would do Frieza a lot of good. He gets to torment mortals and destroy planets, his empire is just at a universal scale instead of a galaxy

I think Frieza is perfect for the role. Sure, he'll of course pull some underhanded shenanigans every once in awhile, but other than that, the role of God of Destruction fits him perfectly!

…also, I’ve probably just been watching too much Marvel’s What If…, but I was just now thinking how interesting and cool it would be if this G.O.D. Frieza could come into contact with Good Frieza (I’m guessing the former is probably way more powerful than the latter, but I’m thinking and fantasizing more about their dialogue with each other - what they would think and say and how they’d interact; I wish it could happen, maybe in a future April Fool’s What If…).
Idk, I’ve always liked and entertained the idea of your different What Ifs colliding, and the characters of each interacting with the other in many intriguing and interesting ways (honestly, it’s basically what Super Dragon Ball Heroes should have been, imo). I have a feeling Super is actually going to make Frieza a G.O.D eventually, with him taking Beerus' place and Beerus retiring on earth. And with Whis to keep in him in check and of course, not allowing him destroy earth because he likes the food there. Frieza would make the perfect G.O.D for universe 7.

What if Gero found the slimebiote from Ben 10? If you do not know what I’m talking about, it’s a slime like symbiote, going around creating all the creatures in the Ben 10 verse. It can use any of the traits from the aliens in the omnitrix, but I do not think it can do a full transformation. It’s a good way of limiting them.
I think a young Gero would be a perfect time for him to find it, probably around the time Gero’s wife was dying, and the creatures his cure for her, it could go wrong with her being cured, but in a coma, thanks to the celestialsapien, and Naljian gene’s. (Her mind not being able to handle there cosmic awareness), making it Gero’s goal to not only wake up his wife, but also have his android research go into it.
I can imagine the Zenos are going to have fun pitting these two against one another like they're action figures being smashed together

Masako I think he would be a mix of both, being an exemplary god of destruction but being his classic self just as how he was a better and more mature person while being unmistakably himself in the Brouly movie but amped up by his godly training, a fair but sadistic dictator who wants things his way not matter the death, despair or consequences
How long do you work on these theories? Do you have them fully planned or have a general outline of what you wanna do then fill everything else in episode by episode? Have you ever changed anything significant that you had previously planned out?

Frieza's species' improvement abilities and the fact they're an artificial race makes me think there might be a bit of Saiyan DNA mixed in there
frieza could indeed make a decent God of Destruction but it is all a matter of what desires drive him most. I think he could be quite content ruling an entire universe and not just part of one like he had in universe 7. However, as you have set up his hatred toward Beerus and now possibly directed toward zeno, that may no longer be enough for him.
He's gonna play the long game, he's smart enough to know he can't take zeno and his unwillingness to train he would focus on growing his universe until it produced beings that he could use to take down zeno

Putting aside how fun Frieza was in the TOP, I kind of wish this would have happened. A big change on the status quo and we would get to see more of Universe 9 and it's characters, making them more than just fodder for the main characters.
But I think that's also why it didn't happen. Big and audacious changes in Super ? Ha ! Nope !
