So many things would have to go right for the Saiyans to win here, and yeah, unfortunately almost any scenario that doesn't involve them making a tactical retreat likely ends with Frieza just powering up and stomping them in an instant. Still, this feels like a cool alternative to how the Saiyans would have met their end --- not caught off guard in a moment of complacency, but going down swinging in a courageous last stand. I like it.
yeah this is good cause it doesn't have frieza losing on a technicality. it shows that even if they did everything perfectly, they still couldn't have beaten frieza unfortunately. but it also doesn't have the saiyans going out like punks. they managed to push him to his final form
I love that you kept this as realistic as possible. You didn’t have bardock “change the future” because no matter what, it was destined to happen. Really good video, can’t wait for future projects.
Yeah the problem here is Frieza can transform, and their is nothing the Saiyans can do to stop Frieza here. But at least the Saiyans went out fighting. Anyways another really good one-shot what if, and looking forward to your next video soon. What if suggestion: What if Goku & Tarble were sent to Earth?
It is questionable if Frieza can transform at this point. I recall in Dragonball Super Frieza having a flashback fighting this one general of his. The general could take more punishment than what was normal due to a special ability. This allowed Frieza to gain his second transformation. Final Form Frieza in the early days is spoken of by Cooler in the movie Coolers Revenge. Cooler and Frieza had both spared with each other in Final Form and Frieza came out on top. It could be Frieza is only capable of his first transformation at this point. I can see the Saiyans winning against this if they unite. I am less optimistic if they use the OOzaru Form. It is rare for the Saiyans to be able to control themselves while in this form. Turlis defeated a Oozaru Gohan quite easily because he was just a beast who lacked control of himself. The Saiyans transform in OOzaru because the planets they invade are supposed to be destroyed of life. It does not matter how much destruction they do as long as the Saiyans eliminate all resistance.
@@lanceknightmare If I recall correctly, in the game xenoverse 2, it was mentioned that the freezer clan creates these lower forms, because they cant handle the strenght of their original form (aka freezers final form). Also they can design the looks of them fairly freely. This means that children of freezers family at any point in time have access to their 1st form and their final/base form and the others are created once they feel confident enough to handle a higher power level than their 1st form. tl dr freezers family can transform in to their final/base form at any age, however they might not be able to control such a power level yet propably. However take this information with a grain of salt, since the source is a game and thus not canon and is derived from my memory. Also it would create the question, why king cold didnt transform when he was killed by trunks or maybe it was already his final/ base form. But then why did it look so different to freezers and coolers form, which look very similar. idk
This was really good. I much prefer this to scenarios where bardock somehow wins despite being SO below frieza. It's a what if and people can do what they want, but I just find something like this much more interesting. It could also mean that frieza might actually decide to stay in his final form at 1-10% power at al times now, just to be safe. Changing the namek saga a lot.
@@BackAfter2Yearsnot really because Krillin, Vegeta, piccolo and gohan would all die before Goku comes which would make him go ssj a lot faster and also have no spirit bomb
What If Request. What if Gohan drank the Ultra Divine Water before or after entering the Time Chamber with Goku, What if Goku was the first "evolved" Saiyan (like the Universe 6 Saiyan's who are born without a tail and have more potential), What if Kami regained his youth when King Piccolo did, What if Elder Guru fused with Kami before he died, What if Bulma found Androids 13, 14 and 15 used their parts to upgrade Android 16.
UDW Gohan: He'd get ever so slightly stronger, however it wouldn't be enough to change anything in the story. "Evolved" Goku: No Oozaru form means that Grandpa Gohan would train him for longer and he'd be a bit stronger than in canon when Bulma arrives. Grandpa Gohan lets Goku go with her and the Dragonball, and the adventure goes along much easier until Goku is able to break the others out of Pilaf's Castle with a Kamehameha and someone gets a wish. Probably Grandpa Gohan teaches Goku about girls, Ox King makes a request for Goku's wish since he wouldn't know what to do so Goku revives Chichi's mother. They get together early, Chichi trains under Roshi and Gohan with Goku and Krillin, and everything goes basically the same until the timeskip between DB and Z. Since Goku here is more socially conscious and Chichi has trained as a proper martial artist, Gohan is raised with both training and studying in his curriculum. Long story short this means Chichi is a Z-Fighter for a while and Gohan is OP. Youthful Kami: Given how Kami directly calls the split with King Piccolo a halving of their original power, that would mean young Kami would rival Frieza in power and train Goku better to handle Piccolo Jr, making their fight in the 23rd Budokai more one-sided. In the Saiyan saga Kami wouldn't really intervene, nothing changes in the Namek saga, but in the Android saga Piccolo would train with Kami personally, which would end up with both being on par with 18, and instead of resorting to Kamiccolo they'd train in the HTC, meaning they wouldn't become Kamiccolo until the Buu saga and would be much stronger for it. Guru-Kami: Kami gets the knowledge and powers of Guru, uses it to train the humans for the Androids and basically the humans catch up to the Super Saiyans by the time the Androids arrive. Kamiccolo would know his old name, and he'd be a bit stronger with the possibility of being able to unlock potential. Super Android 16: Bulma doing this would only make Super-16 at best on par with Piccolo so really nothing changes.
I think this is more of the canon version than anything. The Saiyans' Final Stand. It's way more impressive and would work better as actual canon. Kudos Carthu!

Didn't it take a while for Freeza to transform to his final form? Maybe when he saw the power levels shoot up, he could've started but would it be fast enough before getting destroyed by the blast? 🤔
@@vanessahuffman57 I mean i don't think it still is since the new manga has the new manga has to follow the new history of bardock for literally a whole arc to make sense. Even if it was canon freeza has shown in the manga movie and anime of the resurrection F saga that he can go straight from his weakest form to his final form or basically his base rather quickly Honestly i think thats what it comes down to. Freeza is not going into a transformation, he is returning to his base It should not take long to do that Edit: you could make the arguement it only took so long in the anime since the physical change between his 3rd and 4th form is massive as compared to his 1st to 4th form which are his two most similar transformations in terms of look and side. Not to mention debatably the 1st form is likely the one freeza has had the longest since we see him with it as a kid. Furthermore freeza has stated that he has had to use his final form before and there should of realistically been no reason to do so unless he did not have his other forms since he is suppose to be on another level then everyone in the universe
good plan would be to create "scatter teams" of children, women, low class under one mid or elite "commander" and sent in groups in random directions in each pod group. Then with survival guaranteed the best among them not sent off are gathered to oozaru. Buy time for the escape or kill freiza.
It still wouldn't be enough to destroy Frieza's blast. Unless they could make an artificial blutz wave like Vegeta the fourth. Would all their Oozaru strength be enough to overwhelm the galactic tyrant's 530,000 power level?

@@phenixgoku11 I’ve made one 10 minute what if in the last year. My average video length is 12-15 mins and I don’t do parts anymore. Longer videos will happen but they take time to make. Basically skipping straight to the full story instead of making a bunch of parts first.
This is a fairly realistic take on what would happen, honestly. I'd even go so far as to say that if made into a proper official animated special, it would be more interesting narratively than the original Bardock special. It fails to change the ultimate fate of the Saiyans and planet Vegeta, but it does give the Saiyans one proper final last hurrah before their end, as opposed to the whimper they got in the original. It also does a much better job at showing just how monstrous of an opponent Freeza truly is, how futile opposition to him is. The Freeza Saga truly didn't give the threat he represents justice, and that's even with him feeling like an absolute powerhouse in the saga. It's a fantastically written saga, holding up still to this day. Even in the original Bardock special, Bardock's feeble resistance alone fails to capture the true threat that Freeza represents. By having the Saiyans combine their power for one last attempt at their freedom like this, the threat Freeza represents is magnified in how effortlessly he dispatches them.
Great job, even though I've watched versions of this scenario already, yours was still great and entertaining. I have a question - are you planning to continue "What if Gohan was like Goku?" As someone who always wished that was the case, this series was really close to me.
Yes. It’s just going to be finished all at once since I don’t do parts anymore. Probably a 45 minute video at the end which takes a lot of time with my modern editing style!
Great little scenario though it is a shame the outcome was still the same. Pretty cool how the combined Saiyan attack forced Frieza into his final form though.
10:33 My only issue with this is that Frieza lacked the ability to instantly transform. He only gained this ability in super after training for a few months. Prior to that, his transformations took a great deal of time and effort on his part.
I kind of doubt Frieza would've gotten away completely unscathed, even assuming it takes only 3 seconds for him to transform to his final form, I doubt he would be able to reach 50% power before getting hit. While I highly doubt he would die (if we assume that the Saiyans were only able to reach 50 million, which there were probably enough of them that they could reach higher) he would most likely be injured to a point that he wouldn't be able to muster anything close to 50% power. I don't think they would end up winning, but I think whoever was unable to fight would have been given more than enough time to escape, especially since the attack would probably have damaged, if not completely destroyed, Frieza's ship (and the remaining soldiers within), seeing as he was "standing" on top of it.
yeah, even if Frieza tanked it his ship wouldn't. he'd literally lose almost all his best fighters (Ginyu force wasn't there), sure he'd wipe out the saiyans but I feel like he'd slowly do it out of spite after losing all of that to some "monkeys"
It looks like more people have said it by now, but let me concur: Bardock winning over Frieza is a good concept, but done many times. Your take, if dismal, is just as well done but unique! However, what really helps this one stand out is how well it fits over the movie template (the movie was fun and minus had a couple twists, but this brought more to the movie's plot and was far more satisfying than Minus!)
I really like this. Kinda hoped they would've maybe tried to pool their power into Bardock for like a SSG style thing but I am more than happy with this outcome
Unfortunate since no one of them have pure heart, the result would be more like that one time in GT where they powered SSJ4 Goku, and we know the power boost wouldn't be big enough sadly
I seriously wish Toriyama kept Bardock’s Z design especially his bandana he could have kept pieces of the Z special but changed things around to include Broly, Gine, Paragus etc. watching this made me think about how he changed it too much
I just thought of this while watching your "What If VEGITO BLUE fought JIREN?", and immediately went to your channel and hastily tried to find your newest video XD. So the idea is: "What if Goku stayed longer on Yardrat?". I thought of this when I heard about Vegito being able to use Instant Transmission.

@@uniquegorilla8680 the rage boost is negligible to insignificant. Freeza doesn't need Minutes to transform, he needs all of three seconds if not Instantaneous, anything else is just for show.
I would have taken a different route. Thanks to his abilities, Bardock already knows that he is sending his son to someplace safe as he is seeing a future where his son grows up. The better option would have been to split up the remaining saiyans. Bardock and half of the strongest remaining would stay to delay frieza and keep him busy while the Goku's mom and the rest would try to find where goku went. Frieza would arrive and destroy the planet but not know about the escape. The result would be there would be not just a handful of saiyans but rather a traveling army in search of a new home shown to them thru prophecy along with a chosen one who may one day be the death of their greatest enemy. Vegeta, nappa, and raditz would never about this escape thus they would assume they were the last. Honestly you were on the cusp of something but alas didn't see it.
That wouldn't work due to the reason gine didn't go to earth in the first place, the power level of the saiyans would be high and frieza's forces could likely track them.
@@namedisjay That's in reference to them traveling in that direction. It's like a GPS tracker if you will. this has to be the most realistic version of "bardock convincing the saiyans",since they wouldnt even get close to frieza's full power. still mad though why you gotta do my boy bardock like that😭
I would have silenced communication, made a plan, and sent all the sayians out to space in different directions, to raise their powers, try to learn to mask their power, while becoming stronger. If Freiza can miss several sayians already in canon, he can miss more blasting off to the furthest parts of the universe. Leave vegeta bide your time, prepare extensively then stomp him.
I remember that dragon ball tekaichi Budokai 3 has an extra mission that showed this, an actual rebellion of saiyans trying to get over the freezer army , it was a pain in the lower back causa I player the entire game on hard
I bet King Vegeta (Vegeta the third) regretted sending Broly to exile before Frieza personally killed him. The galactic tyrant should have extra lines to tell Paragus the truth about the Saiyan race before showing how his former enemy king died in the Broly movie. It would been more fulfilling & ironic in my opinion. Why ironic? Because the exiled Saiyan shot a fellow Saiyan with a energy beam.
Isn't there a whole planet of Saiyans? Indeed there have to be millions of them. Let's say the bare minimum there is 1,000,000 of them (which is fair because they have been around for decades) Let's say the all are 200 or around that (which is appropriate to say) That's around 200,000,000 more than enough for Frieza.

❤
I love that you kept this as realistic as possible. You didn’t have bardock “change the future” because no matter what, it was destined to happen. Really good video, can’t wait for future projects.
Yeah the problem here is Frieza can transform, and their is nothing the Saiyans can do to stop Frieza here. But at least the Saiyans went out fighting. Anyways another really good one-shot what if, and looking forward to your next video soon.
What if suggestion:
What if Goku & Tarble were sent to Earth?
Together or separately?
Bruh the blast that The oozaru's did is enough to Destroy Every Cell of freiza
But even if freeza can transform, there's no way he should've survived such a powerful attack from a unified Sayan army
But then why did it look so different to freezers and coolers form, which look very similar. idk
This is the exact scenario I always envisioned if the Sayians did actually try to rebel that day.
You told it well and great as always Carthu.
This is just a what if episode. But yes the sayans did rebel, just not in the way it's shown over here
@@samarchauhan5672tbh the Saiyans didn't rebel. Just one saiyan rebelled😂
For the worse of the Namekians & Earth's warriors. Would Goku still win against the intergalactic tyrant?
1% of his final form is 1.2 mill and 10% is 12 mill it would probably still be the same
@@BackAfter2Yearsnot really because Krillin, Vegeta, piccolo and gohan would all die before Goku comes which would make him go ssj a lot faster and also have no spirit bomb

I miss the whole bardock being able to see the future thing
Super Kami Guru

I love this hypothetical. I can see it being stretched out in the sense of Frieza already knew of their plan cause of Vegeta or something like that
I think this is more of the canon version than anything. The Saiyans' Final Stand. It's way more impressive and would work better as actual canon. Kudos Carthu!
Definitely more impressive but it's more in line with sayin character for them to not heed any warning. They were always too arrogant and it costed them
@@imbored1179 True, I'm not going to disagree. You can say the same with Frieza and his arrogance during the Namek Saga.
Didn't it take a while for Freeza to transform to his final form? Maybe when he saw the power levels shoot up, he could've started but would it be fast enough before getting destroyed by the blast? 🤔
He took awhile in the anime not the manga.
@@CarthusDojo Ah okay
@@CarthusDojo wait this movie *was* canon to the anime tho
@@vanessahuffman57 I mean i don't think it still is since the new manga has the new manga has to follow the new history of bardock for literally a whole arc to make sense.
Even if it was canon freeza has shown in the manga movie and anime of the resurrection F saga that he can go straight from his weakest form to his final form or basically his base rather quickly
Honestly i think thats what it comes down to. Freeza is not going into a transformation, he is returning to his base
It should not take long to do that
Edit: you could make the arguement it only took so long in the anime since the physical change between his 3rd and 4th form is massive as compared to his 1st to 4th form which are his two most similar transformations in terms of look and side.

You are killing this Frieza impression
good plan would be to create "scatter teams" of children, women, low class under one mid or elite "commander" and sent in groups in random directions in each pod group.
Bardock alone has a power level of 10,000. So if the low class (because apparently Bardock is a low class warrior) is that strong, then definitely.

bardock's my favorite character, and this is by far the best scenario ever for him, even tho he died, he did everything that he could to deliver his true final blow
You should do a what if about King Vegeta, Bardock and Paragus putting their differences aside and working together to fight Frieza.

The transformation only takes time in the anime

Yes! Nice to see you back with the what if I love them! ;)
Well damn, I thought that some of the Saiyans woulda escaped during the battle.
Not even 3 seconds fM takes much longer he will gets chou makouh by millions great apes

It needs to be said how good your frieza voice is, hats off dude 👏🏾
I really like this. Kinda hoped they would've maybe tried to pool their power into Bardock for like a SSG style thing but I am more than happy with this outcome
Unfortunate since no one of them have pure heart, the result would be more like that one time in GT where they powered SSJ4 Goku, and we know the power boost wouldn't be big enough sadly
The voice they did for Frieza while making this video is so cool and fitting hahah
I seriously wish Toriyama kept Bardock’s Z design especially his bandana he could have kept pieces of the Z special but changed things around to include Broly, Gine, Paragus etc. watching this made me think about how he changed it too much

The editor is very good, and i like the fast edition just like the video of db original history
why didnt the 50 million blast kill frieza by catching him off guard like how blue goku died in resurrection f?

Elites were to arrogant to do that, they would went all out, or they would panic as they feared Freeza.
That wouldn't work due to the reason gine didn't go to earth in the first place, the power level of the saiyans would be high and frieza's forces could likely track them.

I bet King Vegeta (Vegeta the third) regretted sending Broly to exile before Frieza personally killed him. The galactic tyrant should have extra lines to tell Paragus the truth about the Saiyan race before showing how his former enemy king died in the Broly movie.
