* 750g or 3 Cups of Basmati long grain Rice or Sella Rice
* 1 TBS Salt
* 1 TBS Oil
* 1/2 Cup Zirashk / Barberry
* 8 TBS Oil
* 1/2 TSP Saffron / zafaran
* 2-3 TBS GHEE/ Unsalted Butter
* 1 and 1/2 TBS Sugar
* 1 Roti/naan/chappati

I didn’t like cooked raisin in rice when I was younger up to now but the small red ones your using is an exception with saffron rice.

Boil until the rice is 80% cooked depends your rice. Check if u press on a rice it should break into 3 pieces. Then drain the rice.

Yes you can. I have also used dried in this recipe 😊
Nice recipe and good content but that beautiful music too loud to endure you need some dynamic maybe a little bit slow right in the middle of cooking time.
If u added saffron why u use turmeric it's not spoil the test.
But recipe is yummy
No it doesn't turmeric is to give it that rich yellow colour. With saffron you get colour but its a little lighter so i like to add a bit of turmeric.
