The Springfields - Bambino + Aunt Rhody

The single Bambino is included in the compilation :"On an island of dreams" but its b-side even marked in the bookle "Star of hope" was excluded. Aunt Rhody is the B-side to silver threads and golden needle, but since that song is posted on youtube already i feel no need to put up silver thread.
Heres Bambino 0:00 and Aunt Rhody 2:34.

Have always LOVED "Bambino" but know so little about it. I understand its a traditional song but thats about all - would be grateful for any additional info....

Thanks weirdalfan, that would figure, but I wonder if its known by other titles and been recorded by other artists - if so, who? Also, whats the translation for what sounds like "santa natale" in the chorus - apologies if my spelling of that is inaccurate!!

lol the Seekers manager or producer is Tom Springfields, so they sould like the Springfields.
