- 2 Final singles with b-side from the folk/pop trio The Springfields (Mike Hurst [replaced Tim Fields], Tom and Dusty Springfield. Before Dusty split to solo success. She left because of her and Tom's creative indifference, she wanted to do motown/ pop he wanted to do folk. It worked out for the best in music history.

This is the first Springfield record I've heard that has a hint of Dusty's voice sounding a bit R&B.

It sounds like they were trying to be a beat group at this point. Given the way you describe the split, I wonder if Tom was also unhappy with the direction they were going it.
