We can get this park reopened for sure, all we need is a fundraising campaign to make it all happen.
I would 100% support this, majority are retro rides and games it would be amazing for all generations to interact with
I wish I could have biggest wearhouse in Ballyclare in Northern Ireland I would save them and fix them up or put them in playground area

Guys....if you want...you can contact the owner of that place to inform them of any takers of the unused arcade games and rides, be it arcades like Dave and Buster's or Chuck E. Cheese and theme park owners like Universal Parks, Disney Parks and Six Flags (which is in a merger with Cedar Fair) for the 80s roller-coasters and carousels. And call in some restores to fix the broken arcade games. That way, they'd still be used by others.
I totally agree! I've been in contact with a few business interested in using these rides and games again. Hopefully in 2024 we will see them around the UK!

That red big ride was the jets it’s Henry danters ground he owns Barry island
Ah I didn't know it was called the jets thank you for that! Henry relinquished his rights to the ground a couple of years unsure as to why, hopefully he buys it back because Barry island was amazing!
He still owns it that’s why the octopus ride is in there he owns it I know Henry really well he also owns the camp site just up the road in Simmons yacht

That place is storage yard used to belobg to the guy that built the service station .
The storage yard used to belong to the owner of Barry island. Sadly it has been left and is still looking for an owner :))
The yards always looked like that i used to spend the night regular on that services and would often see him moving stuff in and out of there .did uou speak to anyone inside the service area
@@martintolley484 I did, they said he gave up on it a bit ago I think it was too much time, effort and pressure. He put full focus into Barry island with new rides not older ones which is devastating :((
I havent been down barry in a few years ill have to try and get down there hopefully when the weathers better
@@martintolley484 it's improved so much but it's all new renovated rides which is great but sad for the other ones. Hopefully weather gets better!
I'm French but there is a theme park called Barry Island Pleasure Park so it didn't close in 2016 ?
It closed and has since been renovated into a brand new park. However these are the parts of what's left sadly
