After a long time I'm back on an epic trip with Frederik in Cyprus and it's time to fly back home. Or not? On our way to the airport we see this abandoned looking theme park and decide to quickly check it out. It turns out to be a theme park which closed for renovations, but no works have been done in the past year. Will this park open again?

Hey there guys!! well im from cyprus and as far as i know the park was called Lucky star Park which closed in 2019 right before covid. They started the renovation and some of the games moved also to keep them safe (mostly video games and go carts) but the hole pandemic thing started and the renovation got stuck. I dont know now if they will finish it or sell it! Cheers!
Yes it was Lucky Star. It was crazy expensive as you paid for each ride 😂😂
To be honest I doubt they kept those go carts and arcade games safe as we saw many trashed ones :(
There was a cool go-kart race track next to the actual park. Is it still there?

Omg..lucky star used to be so popular between 2000-2010. I loved it
So unbelievably jealous that you got in to look around. We went in summer 2020 and were asked to leave by security guards 😢 I even asked them to show us around but they said no. Gutted. Maybe we should go back on a Sunday like you 😁 xx

Closed in 2019 for maintenance. I think this got killed off by the pandemic.
It did, At least that was our conclusion.... :(

It amazes me how people are about to get the money to do something like this and then have no idea how to manage it.
The owner died thats why there a little church also behind the park
The roller coaster (a cavsada Diego blizzard) are known for being horrible good riddance to sit there
12:18 idk why this roller coaster has over the shoulder restraints bc it looks like it has a kiddie coaster layout

I was stationed in dhkelia for 2 years don't know how I never saw this.
My wife was stationed there for nearly 3 years, I just asked her, "Don't know of it" she replied. Though it might be after her time on deployment.

How are you guys not scared of spiders, snakes, or any other creepy crawlers in the grass?
Old abandoned theme parks are the creepiest thing for me.
I have explored a lot of them! Especially in Asia there are a lot. Some you can find on this channel :)
Probably they ‘renovate’ it (paint the rusty parts over) to sell the attractions to the highest bidder in stead of re-opening the parc.
I hope that they reopen it

This doesn't look like will ever reopen. Like not at all. But, imagine there were any vague plans to do so. Anybody could enter the place and trash everything. Even scrap it, by the looks of it, no security at all.

Probably went bankrupt bought a load of machines worth millions at the start of the pandemic they need to operate to pay the bills
Probably, I went back and everything is in the same condition, but now there’s a lot of grass which looks even better😏
