I'm on a big trip in China and meet up with Edwin. Today we explore a gigantic abandoned theme park which has many different themes, like a space and dinosaur theme. The size of this abandoned theme park is mind boggling and everything is frozen in time. And the best thing.. You can't find any signs of vandalism at all.

U r not the first to explore this theme park lol other urban explorers already exlpored this place last year 😅😅
They should demolish the entire fair to build an ecological park with many green spaces and lakes to encourage ecological conservation.
@@toboekey I think you mistake this for another theme park...
Ur guys should go to malaysia to explore the abandoned place here like in my places kuching here have villa aidid and samariang park
Never use unsecured marketing bulls vons like nord VPN...
I'm always amazed how quickly man made structures deteriorate without maintenance
It does! In Fukushima houses got fully overgrown after a few years.
made in China...
@@MVD792some stone bridges in China built a thousand years ago are still standing and in active use.
Nature takes everything back sooner or later.
Reminds me of the show Life After People
I was wondering what jets were that loud. Spotting a J-20 is awesome 🤣 that thing's going full afterburner in circles.
Was very cool yes! Especially because there are not too many of them.
@@ExploringtheUnbeatenPath Yes absolutely, as a plane spotter that's super rare. Even better considering the location you were exploring. Great video.
Since the two neighboring theme parks owned by the same company are still operational, and they seem to be in good shape. I think "upgrade" seems to be the true reason why the park closed in 2019. The company likely planned to start the project immediately after closure, but certainly the pandemic delayed the process. I think this park will be refurbished very soon. Keep in mind that even a section of Disney World in Florida has been abandoned for decades.
What is the name of that company? What city is this? I wanna look it up on Google Maps. TY
@@michollieven though one doesn’t need to be someone local to tell where it is, and the knowledge is out there, I need to honor the producer’s wish not to disclose the location out of concerns of vandalism.
@@petershen6924 don't be silly.
@@petershen6924 Thanks :)

The Skypilot ride looks to be a flying theater. Those are actually pretty epic. Like Soaring at Disneyland.
It actually is! Very futuristic. But yeah walking in there was a bit disappointing for us, as we are very visual. 😆
That “the last world” part of the park with the plants growed and abandoned surroundings looks straight out a movie or fantasy really beautiful :) .love to see most of the park while both of you took the risk with the heavy security. Thanks and keep on the good work 👍
Thanks! More coming up ;)
Great video! I visited this park in May 2019, every ride was open but it felt very run down back then. I remember going into the castle with the promise of beer only to realise it was a photo with someone dressed up as a bear. 😂A lot of theme parks in China were built as part of planning conditions for building houses and apartments, this is why there are quite a few theme parks and shopping malls together and also why a lot of these parks don’t expand or add new rides.
Oooohhh crazy! It's always a weird experience when something is open but when there's almost nobosy and the place is rundown. Got any pictures?
So much love for details! This park looks so cool but at the same time it‘s so sad nothing is operating anymore 🥲
I follow you from Italy, YOU ARE A GREAT EXPLORER! An undisputed legend! And I'm happy to be able to watch videos with subtitles! You go beyond simple explorations and that's what I love about you! Thank you!!❤
Thanks! I keep on making the subtitles 😁in the next months I will upload some amazing adventures and also hope to be back in Italy for exploring soon😊
@@ExploringtheUnbeatenPath It would be wonderful to see you on another exploration of Italy! Let's hope it happens soon! ❤
The Chengdu J-20 above and you guys running around 4:25 just made it seem like a war zone, love you videos Bob, keep it up, There are not that many abandoned places around me, and I have always wanted to try Urban exploring, you videos make it feel like Im right there so thx for that.
Thanks! I see aviation in your name. Guess you will love the latest episode to an abandoned int. Airport😄. So where do you live? I live in The Netherlands where you can’t find anything either. Half to travel far to see the best abandonments
@@ExploringtheUnbeatenPath Yeah, I originally found your channel with the Buran video, and yes I watched the abandoned airport terminal, that was a great video, Im in Northern California(US) so, not many abandoned places, I've always wanted to explore an those aircraft boneyards in the Mojave desert but those are mostly closed to the public.
Thanks for sharing Bob! Abandoned amusement parks are just amazing🏚🏰🎠🎡🎢
More coming up Brenda ! 😎😍😬
I never understand why a nice place like this is left alone. On the other hand, many people dream of having a tourist spot like this, but on the other hand, there are those who just ignore it.
There’s a high competition in theme parks. I think this one could have a new life😁
Because China is often all surface level stuff. They rarely plan for longterm investments due to a lack of real genuine passion.
Because it’s a cheap Asian knock off of Disney, damn cheap chinks
Great video Bob love abandoned theme parks 👍👍 brilliant video xx thanks for sharing 👍❤
Imagine a kids theme park underneath the approach path of a military base with fight jets rupturing several ear drums every 5 minutes or so... I understand why it has closed 😅
Hahaha! I can tell you it was pretty intense... But it is a free little extra which is included in the price :P
Very good episode. This place is HUGE. A shame to let it go to ruin. Looked like a fun park.
Not that much Blatant copyright infrigment or ripoff in this park actually. But the picture on 18:44 for the dino ride is the Cover of the Playstation game Turok evolution. Great video guys.
Wild location, that Jet spotting though. Thats literally a bonus
Spitfire incoming!
Yeah it was a nice bonus, bit I did not want to fly the drone anymore for good aerial shots. 😞
Wow Great video!! Thank you so much for thinking about rescuing the kitten, or kittens by the way! I’m so happy to know someone is feeding them.I love your videos!!❤
Wow this is epic! The attention to detail with the theming is superb. Really enjoyed watching your video.
Even cooler ones coming up!😎
18:58 the raptor breaking the wall is the 1:1 copy of the one one the cover of the videogame Turok Evolution. :D
I can totally understand why this park was closed, with these next gen jets flying over. Nice bycatch Bob!
Thanks mate😁 yes, was cool to spot those!
Too bad they stayed mostly in the guest areas. For me, the interesting stuff is "backstage", behind the scenes where you find the systems, controls, machines, lights, projectors, effects and what-not. Even as a kid the hidden tech always fascinated me more than the superficial, "touristy" stuff.
Time was a real issue! I keep it in mind ;) I also like to show those things
Here are what I found so far:
- the "abandoned" theme park was likely closed in 2019, since the last reviews on tourist sites were dated back in August 2019.
- The theme park's owner is still in business, and the neighboring theme parks owned by the same company are still operational.
- The company's website states that the closed theme park was closed for "upgrade".
Same for me.. last reviews mid 2019. But with the winter decoration it must have been end of the year somewhere…
@@ExploringtheUnbeatenPath I don't think the winter decoration was meant for the season. The building was labeled "Arctic Icy World".
Usefull information! Thanks!
What is the name of the company? City name?
My guess is it closed for the pandemic as COVID hit China first and then just never reopened.
What a awesome 'crispy' location. Thanks for this adventure Bob and Edwin! ❤
Thanks for joining the premiere Eric!
@@ExploringtheUnbeatenPath Thank you! I enjoyed it. Big time!👌🏻

I would love to join you on one of your adventures! That would also give a huge boost to my channel.
it always makes sense to rescue them
Great video Bob. Always enjoy your videos.
Thanks! Glad you like them.. Some highlights coming up in the next months
Interesting video ! In China they seem to build, then abandon stuff really quickly. I agree that rides with a lot of screens are stupid. If I want to watch a screen I can do it at home. I feel like customers want rides that involve physical motion, animatronics and so on.
always love your videos bob and i love what you do keep up the awesome work bob mate and awesome videos as always buddy :) love it
Thanks! Even a cooler park is coming up😎
This gave me Nara Dreamland vibes only much less tacky haha! Excellent Video as always mate
I was in Nara Dreamland too before it got really tagged up😄 There will be a more similar one😌☝️
What a freakin stressed guy in front of you Bob.
He almost run away!!😂
No, a lot of security guys are walking there. He spotted them in time😂 He’s a great guy and perfect for any hard mission🤩.
Gave video Bob! Echt een Chinees park snel gebouwd en ook weer snel verlaten.
Yep, er zijn er heel wat daar... (Komt nog online) Komende week terug naar China.
WOW, danke für´s mitnehmen bzw. anschauen
the amount of dutch in this video amazes me ahaha i love you guys' videos!
Haha sorry :)
Wow this was so cool. Thank you. Amazing the military jets too. I’m
So upset about the cats though.
Was like a warzone at the beginning with the fighter jet 😂😂 good work getting around and not 1 que 😂😂
The sound was crazy!👀
Bob you're insane and I love it. Balls of steel for sure, no doubt
Wait until you see some other stuff which is coming up later! Crazy (some solo) missions
That round green swing type ride looks a lot like The Orange Stinger from California Adventure.
Whoa that pirate ship was so cool⛵🏴☠️
More coming up ;) My favorite still has to come.
Great show buddy you guys are the best
Thanks! More epic episodes coming up in the next months😇😎
That was some sneaky stuff Rob, but really entertaing. 😃, groetjes oet velden!.
I'm pretty sure the security will let you pay a fee and allow you to explore for a few hours!
I’m not too sure about that. Might work in a few places! 😄
Incredible video, parts of it remind me of the Fall-out video game, specifically the dlc of "Galactic Zone"
Thanks for checking out! Will check that😎
I would love to work in there as a security guard to see all those places, even though after a while will get pretty boring still there would be your hunt to occupy us to escape from the routine! 😆
Dank u voor deze bijzondere video.
Cheers for another great adventure Bob, your right about how amazing it's looks on the outside untill disappointment on the inside so basic and boring. The rollercoasters and water rides looked quit good, keep them coming Bob, will you be going back to Fukushima I like them videos and content. 👍
Thanks Craig! Fukushima episode coming next week(s) 😃☝️ and end of the year some bangers👌

so after watching this which i enjoyed so thank you for your effort .i looked up dino rampage ..now i know why this place is empty..it was doing ehar disney wad 45 years ago.
Chris, I posted an even better abandoned theme park! Check the channel, it’s one of the latest episodes. And if you didn’t see the aircraft carrier.. sit back and check that one too😊🙏
Stealth fighter 🤣 could hear it in the UK...awesome explore guys
Thats not how stealth works, but true
🤣Really !!!
A very cool place!!!
Amazing video guys! Can't wait for the next part!
Some cool episodes already booked for the rest of the year.. need to get my editing done👀
All the best for your small and big success in your future.
Wow, de buitenkant van alle attracties zijn echt schitterend.
Wondering if that green ball thing came out of Disney California Adventure as it looks exactly like the Orange Stinger swing ride, except it's green.
I wonder how many designers/execs from this Chinese theme park toured Disney parks in the US to "borrow" ideas for this place? There were probably groups of them walking around with their cameras snapping tons of images when they were gathering their intel.
lot of parks used to do stuff like that, expecially when travel was harder. It was "Why go to Disneyland when we can brin gDisney to you." If you go to many European themeparks (Especially Europa Park). You will see alot of Disney inspired rides, sometimes it would be a one off. Like Drayton Manor used to have their own version of Pirates of the Carribean.
You never disappoint 👍
True that!👌🏻❤
I try my best to bring new stuff to RUclips instead of copying others 😎
Love to explore there
Wish you had some Infrared Binoculars Bob . They help in Daylight too ?
Bob, we're so glad you are safely out of China. If they'd caught you making a vid of the fighter, for sure you would've been arrested as a spy. Thanks for this first look inside the Disneyland copy.
That is what I was thinking throw your ass in prison work camp for life
You numpty
they like there movie's ,the X-71 space shuttle is the one they used in Armageddon (Independence and Freedom)
Such Waste "! Great Explore Guy's"!👍😎👍😎👍
Sou fascinado nesses vídeos de parques abandonados !!!
Very Nice, yes.
You guys were going to rescue those kittens? BLESS YOUR HEARTS❤️!
Thanks for watching! We rescued multiple animals on out trips. Sometimes our trip got even cancelled because we took care for a puppy
Plane at 3:40 is probably just a J-10, it has a canard wing too and is wayyy more common.
Thanks for noticing ! At this video ruclips.net/video/waztGNkAZE0/видео.html 07:36 You can see it def. looks more like a J20 when you compare the backside of the jetfigthers with my footage at 03:41.
Did not expect the sudden dutch in this vid. Random ass dutch jumpscares everywhere lmfao.
We had to take care, otherwise our adventure ended😂
China seems to not care about photographers in abandoned locations, from what I've seen online. As long as you're not there to damage anything, you're good. I've seen videos of people who get caught doing this and security seems to be a lot more "ok just don't climb anything, don't damage anything" as opposed to in the west where they'll slap charges you need to fight. I'll put it this way-if they cared you would've been arrested. You saw the cameras on for cryin' out loud, they knew you were there.
It are CCTV’s for the rides, so not connected to the guards. It depends on the location, situation and guard I guess like in all countries. Thanks for checking out😄
@@ExploringtheUnbeatenPath I've watched enough Chineese urbex videos and the most extreme I've ever seen them go is "ok don't climb the waterslide towers, they're unstable".
@@urbex_coasters Really depends on the place. Got some other news yesterday of people getting caught and they have less luck :o
@@ExploringtheUnbeatenPath I think it was good that you guys didn't get caught, not because of the urbex, but because you took footage of J-20. Even though it was super grainy, who knows if they'll slap on espionage charges if the police got involved. You never know with China.
What is the name of that theme park?
I am watching this in the middle of a heatwave in Central Europe with it still being 30°C and 80% humidity at 10 pm 🥵 Perfect vibes for this video
I feel you haha!😂 Hope you enjoyed
Well, this year is a very comfortable temperature, lower than in previous years, I don’t understand why there are such cries in the news about the heat in Europe.
Wooooow you guys are so brave to go inside Chinese abandoned place!!😱😱
I am exploring in China again at the moment! Thanks for checking😎
13:00 That's a Flying theatre. They're nice, not stupid.
poor kitties
Wow! this place reminds me of Nuka -World from Fallout 4!!!
18:58 I recognized the raptor art on the wall from the Turok evolution game cover. Crazy how much art and design is not original.
You guys are way stealthier than that jet
This was no "Walk in the park" LOL
No I wish it was😂 haha but that’s why the park is not vandalized at all
The security shack looks dodgier than the run down theme park. Creepy place. Take care brother.
I believe they are located in a few spots
11:29 you said cheesy at the exact same moment I took a first bite of cheese.
Oooo I have to look back at that😂😂😂😂
Crazy place bro
@TattooedTraveler you both go to some pretty crazy & amazing places 🤙
@@Party-Marty 😆🤙 thanks Marty, I got some stuff I need to edit currently. Prob 2 or 3 vids
Hey, I noticed white dots on the dark video segments. Did you use the same camera in the fukushima series? Maybe the lens got influenced by radiation?
It’s a brand new camera… and noticed it too on the big screen.. it really sucks.. it are called “ hot pixels” on the sensor. Gotta check if I can fix them or check the warranty, because it’s ridiculous 😞
super cool mannen!
Bedankt voor te kijken! Er komt nog een gavere aan😇

the ruined fake tomorrowland is amazing! wow!
O you mean the temple with the face? Haha :D
Maybe they feed the cats and use them to get rid of mices?
That’s a possibility yes! But they were only in that building😇

I'm wondering too
Wuhu Fantawild Adventure
Are there any videos of this theme park when it was open and running
Your buddy in the black socks doesn't dick around, he was haulin' ass the whole time. I wouldn't dick around in China either. You've got giant nads Bob, another great vid, thanks.

The kitten voice broken my heart…
That’s the second Hugh theme park that’s abandoned in China.
That place looks like it was designed for very small children from 3 too 10 years as i look at the design and the colors it is all from early 60 wow too bad that there was so much security around.
No there were also big rollercoasters but we ran out of time…( and we already saw many big coasters ) you see soon😄
So cool....
Are those security cameras? @15:55 ? Good security!
