Deadpool 3 is on the way, as the merc with a mouth is going to finally join the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Director Shawn Levy even teased a team up with Bruce Banner, AKA the Hulk. But how will Wade arrive in the MCU? Will it be connected to Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness? Loki and the TVA? How will Bruce banner fit into all of this? We have theories for you!

When Disney announced its acquisition of Fox’s movie and television properties-fans started speculating on how characters like the X-Men and the Fantastic 4 would be brought into the MCU.
We all assumed that Fox’s Marvel franchises would undergo reboots to enter the MCU-with the exception of one character-Deadpool.
And just recently Marvel studios confirmed that they have hired Free Guy director Seam levy to direct Deadpool 3-and then Shawn tweeted this image, confirming that Mark Ruffalo would return as the Hulk in the movie!
Now we already know that Patrick Stewart is going to appear in the Multiverse of Madness [clip]. Ryan Reynolds says he’s not in the movie.
And remember kids-when a movie star says they aren’t playing a superhero in a multiversal movie featuring Doctor Strange, they’re totally telling the truth.
But how will Deadpool wind up in the MCU? Well, we think that we’ve already seen exactly how he’s going to jump through universes.
Deadpool 2 featured Josh Brolin as the time traveling mutant, Cable. In the post credit scene of Deadpool 2, Deadpool gets his hands on Cable’s time traveling device. He uses it to go back in time to save his fiance, Vanessa.
Deadpool’s future consciousness went into the body of his past self. This type of time travel is similar to the time travel in Days of Future Past-where rather than your body going back in time, your consciousness goes back in time.
In Deadpool 2 we see that Cable’s time travel device has the ability to do both. First he sends his physical body back in time to kill Russell-but later in the film we see Cable send his consciousness back in time to plant a coin on Deadpool.
That coin saves Deadpool from a lethal bullet to the chest.
Deadpool did indeed occupy his past self’s body when he traveled back in time, but somehow the bracelet got on his past self’s wrist. You could say that it’s just [clip, lazy writing] but an in-universe explanation could be that the bracelet itself traveled with Deadpool’s consciousness back in time. Deadpool’s consciousness went into his past self’s brain, and the time traveling device went to his past self’s wrist.
Seeing Deadpool’s body vanish means he is now physically traveling through time. But in the next clip, Deadpool is yet again occupying the consciousness of another past self-this time saving X-Force member, Peter.
Next up we see Deadpool travel to a different timeline to kill a variant of himself in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. And then into another reality to kill Ryan Reynolds before he makes that god awful Green Lantern film.
And lastly we see Deadpool travel back in time to kill baby Hitler.
Now by the logic laid out in the MCU, Deadpool’s time traveling would cause multiple variant timelines because [clip, Hulk explaining time travel] It would make sense if the Time Variance Authority, TVA for short, stepped in and arrested Deadpool for his crimes against the Sacred Timeline.

Multiverse of Madness will be all Marvel Properties made outside the MCU - so even the Xmen timelines can make 'sense' through the madness.

I think the nice thing about Deadpool is that you don't necessarily have to explain it. He can just 4th wall "decide" he's in the MCU now, and just pop up like it's totally normal with just a wink and a nod to the audience.

It's so much easier than when Ryan Reynolds gets too expensive.. they can just recast kid Deadpool with a snap of their fingers.. no need to stretch it out in an ENTIRE series to pass the torch from Hawkeye to little girl Hawkeye.
Exactly. In ‘Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe,’ it ends with him killing the writers of that very story lol. I think over explaining how he got from the Fox X-Men universe into the MCU ruins the fun. They can just create some silly reason, break the fourth wall to acknowledge it, and then move on.
Also, kinda like Deadpool with the Fox movies, I don’t expect Deadpool to even impact the MCU story arc. I feel like it will include some of those actors for some R-rated jokes that weren’t done in main MCU films and have a lot more references to Marvel and Disney as a whole, but it otherwise will just be as close to a standalone thing as we’ve seen in the MCU

I'm hoping there's a mid credits scene in an upcoming Marvel movie where Deadpool walks off a Fox Studios set, takes a cab (driven by Dopinder) to a Disney Studios set, and walks onto the set of the Marvel movie that just ended.

I agree Deadpool needs to be out of the main MCU for the most part. He can with movies like Blade give some depth on the adult side to some of the characters in the main MCU. And he can be that fun uncle that stops by every now and then just to lighten the mood in movies. He would serve the Stan Lee / Howard the Duck type of role that would also point the to that adult content with a wink and a nod.
i feel like ya he’s gonna be a bit of a universe jumper but should definitely be around for the big multiversal team up films as well as his solo films obviously

I'm so excited for Deadpool 3, especially since the news that Shawn Levy is directing. Shawn and Ryan work so well together on films, can't wait! I really hope Taika Waititi shows up as Korg, I think it's a no brainer after the Free Guy thing they did.
I definitely think they're replacing Colossus with Hulk which is a shame as I love the Xmen featured in the Deadpool movies, but it doesn't make sense to feature a character that the MCU will definitely want to use but hasn't been introduced in the MCU yet. I really hope we can still see Dopinder, Vanessa, Cable, Negasonic, and Domino though since I don't think the MCU would use those characters.
I think it's obvious that everyone would want the whole DP2 team in the mcu. It makes sense. Then they don't need origin stories. Only a very few characters actually get complete arcs. Which is Canon to the comics. Love how it can all be connected. Every strand of realities.

Kang said it himself. When he dies he’ll end up in the same place eventually, maybe meaning his was keeping time in a linear loop instead of endlessly (perhaps) a replay of the multiversal war ending in “he who remains Kang” back in that role
It is a loop. The actual shape of the main timeline. Which is awesome.
All very good ideas. I wonder if Deadpool, given his 4th wall breaking ability, is just not readable by the TVA, like anything he does doesn't cause a blip on their machines so they never investigate him.
I like this concept - he could use the TVA portals to go pick up some X-men to help him starting with Colossus, Nega, and Yukio (plus Cable...and give me Bishop too).
Hulk crossing over with Deadpool is absolutely amazing. Plus I would love to see some scenes with Hulk and Colossus. Two big CGI bulls....yeah of course I want them to fight, but also be friends afterwards. Both of them realizing that they're not so different and that it's hard trying to blend into society when you're as big as bus and people think of you as a freak.

The reason Christine's death was an absolute point was because her death is what made strange want to practice the mystic arts and turned him into sorcerer supreme in that universe. Vanessa's death didn't make Deadpool, Deadpool. Why do people get confused by this? It's merely a chicken or an egg metaphor.

Deadpool's new Netflix time travel movie is pretty cool.
I like the idea that the TVA now exists to protect Kang. It has very "Rokko's Basilisk" vibes to it.

It may be true that his movies are too raunchy, but as we see, Disney is starting to go that route. We can definitely see him in alot of Marvel Team ups.
After the success of The Suicide Squad/Peacemaker I think Marvel would be crazy to not explore that side of the MCU as well. There's clearly a market for it.
And with the addition to punisher and the lot coming to disney plus hes not the only gory guy in the universe
On top of that, most of the MCU's key demographic (us) have now grown way past 18yo where they can make Deadpool in the ever glorious way it's always supposed to be 🤣

Disney JUST added TV-MA to it’s streaming with the Netflix shows moving to Disney Plus. It’s highly likely that Deadpool could be their first foray into an R rating for an MCU movie.

Cable didnt do anything with his consciousness, he rewound time and put the token there, then lived the rest of the movie out up to that point, thats why theres a FFWD effect.
Apocalypse wasn't all that bad, the ending shot costumes were AMAZING but seeing wolverine in the memory wipe helmet was fantastic.

When Disney acquired Fox, I kept thinking finally they will save Fantastic 4 and X-Men but I was really worried they were going to mess up Deadpool. However their choice for director and your theory make a lot of sense and would be great if it happens.

The time traveling in Deadpool 2 is different than the mcu. We can see by him being saved by cable that it does change the future and cable’s daughter’s teddy bear being repaired. So it wouldn’t create different strands. Also, they confirmed Deadpool will remain rated R in the mcu
My idea about the Hulk and Deadpool thing could be a live action of Hulk vs Wolverine where Deadpool,Sabertooth,Omega Red,ect have been tracking down Hulk to make him a part of weapon X and General Ross or Fury asks Logan to help capture him either for good or bad and goes on from there I think that movie would be great source material for live action! doesnt have to be exactly the same I would prefer many changes so it can fit into the Mcu

Addressing the Hulk appearance, there was a very early issue of Deadpool where he had to fight the Hulk to get his radiation.
Maybe it will be hulk vs wolverine in the past (when banner was hiding in canada) and its from wades point of view
Kevin Fiege confirmed last year during the press tour for Wandavision that Deadpool 3 will be rated-R and it’s the only R-rated movie currently planned.
An MCU movie with Deadpool, Hulk, Colossus, and Domino would be fantastic. No idea who the villain would be.

I think that the Professor Hulk was sort of wrong about the rules of time travel. He is right for Quantum Time Travel which I think was actually traveling to alternate Earths but if time travel is done with something like the Time Stone, or how it was done in Days of Future Past or Deadpool then they can change the course of time since it not based on Quantum Physics which is probably why it works that way.
I think you're right. The Avengers didn't really invent time travel, traveling through the fourth dimension, they invented 5th dimensional travel. They travel between alternative timelines, not just within a single time line. Other methods of time travel, like using the Time Stone, could allow for traveling within a single timeline.
@@AbjectPermanence If we look at Dr. Strange he was able to reverse time without setting off any more alternate realties then he would have already (which at the simplest is 2 one where he wins and 1 where he looses) since when time traveling you create small changes just from being there. Also Hulk is not a quantum physicists like Hank Pym is or a extreme super genius like Tony Stark is so how would he know how time travel works. Don't get me wrong he is smart but he is not super smart.
In 0:38 the briefcase is actually from Ryan Reynolds new movie on Netflix called Adam Project you can spot it near the ending scenes.
I have a super silly yet funny way in which Wade could be incorporated in mcu. Because Deadpool breaks all kinds of rules and also 4th wall, he knows who is Tom Holland, he knows spiderman an also knows who is peter parker.
He could've thus come to mcu and then didn't go back for this reason *_____insert reason here_____*

Idk about anyone else but I think a Acid trip sent him to the MCU but instead of it just being an “acid trip” he somehow teleports there. I doubt it has zero comic book connections but I could see it fitting Deadpool in a way.

So I think that picture doesn’t mean that the hulk is in the new movie, one of the scenes in their new Netflix movie had a case and in a “blink and you miss it” moment there was a Deadpool sticker.
I think if anything Deadpool should just do a quick cameo inside dr strangest sanctum just like walking down the stairs making tea in a robe such as when he did his ferris beuler outtake just hand strange a cup and say," im a big fan Mr. Cumberbatch! ... well this is strange... " And walk off. As we know Deadpools' true super power is that he is self-aware that he is a fictional character.
