Thank you. It's not that I wanted to be known as cluttered, LOL. (Still downsizing from 4100 to 260 sq. ft. and tons of stuff!) Nor for having an accident, oh well, ha! 🤷♀️😂

@@brenda1578 I own a duplex and when my last kid left home, I gave the main part of the house to my son and his family (wife and three kids) and I moved into the one bedroom apartment. So moving from four bedrooms, two baths, 15 X 25 living room into a one bedroom apartment 1/4 the size was truly downsizing, but of course I could not let go of my treasures. Everything pretty much reminds me of some family member or friend who gave me the item. Throwing out my "stuff" would be like throwing out a person I love, so it stays. I also have way too many books and plants, but they're not going away either. It may look cluttered to some, but to me it looks like home. I, too, have a cat and a cat window, so I understand why that was important for you. And yes, I once was homeless, too, living in Anchorage Alaska, but that was before I had my 3 boys; they have never had to deal with that. Isn't it funny how something like that can make you so much better a person; more generous and kind to people. Anyway, I love your tiny home. 😊

I was sitting in the Red Bluff Starbucks with my family when I saw this lovely little tiny house go by. Shortly after that, we were headed north on I-5 and saw that lovely tiny house laying on its side on the edge of the road. We felt so bad for it!😞 It's great to know that it's lives on (at least parts of it) in the 2.0 version😊. Thank you for sharing your sweet little home with all us "wanna-be tiny housers".💐

I definitely want a tiny house, but I want it on a foundation, because I need an art studio and a wood shop also. I am planning to build the three small structures on land in Georgia where I live and where property is affordable. I moved last year from California, where I couldn't of done something like this, but here I definitely can.

The exterior litter box was a very smart idea! She had a lot of stuff of a tiny house person, but the one thing most don’t have that I couldn’t live without is, a washing machine.
You can get regular sized washer/dryer combos or countertop washers.
I had a Deco combo washer dryer in 1st. A Whirlpool stacker washer dryer now, and I love it!

I prefer open and airy spaces personally, but this home is just so full of character. Its obvious the owner is not a minimalist, she is thriving in her home filled with everything she loves, and thats what its all about.

I love that she is surrounded by her loved objects. So many tiny houses are austere and minimalist. I prefer detail and decoration!
Yeah, I always wonder why they don't hang art on the wall. I do like the all white interiors to make it seem bigger, but if I go tiny, I will have a sprinkling of things that are colored that can be inexpensively swap for a different color, say, per season.
One of the nicest tiny homes I've seen & Brenda has made it do welcoming & comfortable. Thanks for sharing Brenda.💐

What a wonderful attitude to take when the hardships life can throw at you become a reality. We have the ability to power through and she's a perfect example of that. I had a curio cabinet’ & collected things, it didn’t seem cluttered till decided to live more minimalist but not extreme. I sleep better when I not surrounded by different things. If she’s surrounded by everything she loves it’s wonderful. I like how she didn’t give up.

I absolutely love this home!! I wouldn't change a thing! I'm glad she got to rebuild after such a painful accident. I can't imagine losing a home and starting over. One thing I adore about this home is all of the little things and collections everywhere in her home. I am not a fan of a home without things haha!! Things that warm up a home gives it personality! That you so much. 🥰 There's many stories on how challenging it was to get a tub in both my tiny's, couple of third party vendors ripped us off. So, yes! I am happy just to have a soaker tub! 😃💖🛁

I didn’t even think about tiny houses crashing, now I’m nervous to drive one on highways! 😭 thank you for sharing her story, it helps bring awareness on things to consider when going tiny :,0
A tiny house owner wrote that if you pay a professional mover to move it, their insurance will cover the move.
There are also special pieces of equipment/technology that help prevent the sway she described. So important since even just a large truck driving by can cause a gust of air, making it sway.
Building so a certain percentage of the weight is toward the tow bar is important, too.
I've never towed anything, but I recommend people compare these videos:

There was one that, sadly, showed a small tiny house *reduced to a pile of lumber* when attempted to go under a bridge. It didn't even seem to be going very fast. I can't find the video now.

One of the unknown benefits of having a difficult life is that if it doesn't crush you, it makes you incredibly strong and unflappable in the face of hardship. Certainly, there are some things in life that can occur from which you can never bounce back, but if you are able to eventually recover, it is amazing how much stronger and more resilient you become.
Sorry to learn of this woman's many hardships. So happy, for her, that she was able to (eventually) move through them and move forward with life.
