After visiting this tiny house, I've decided it's the hobbit life for me! What a beautiful home and garden Anna and Stoph have built and what an amazing life they have created for their daughter. So get cozy, pour yourself a nice drink, enjoy second breakfast and the tour of this lovely tiny home. Thanks for watching and supporting our channel! With Love, Bryce & Rasa
I absolutely love it! With the house and surroundings they’ve indeed created the energy of Bilbo and Frodo. Yes its not in the ground and doesn’t have myriad tunnels, but the flavor is magical and worthy of the hobbits. Most importantly, this couple have Hobbit energy… practical, shy, down to earth, loving, creative… marvelous!!! Thank you for being there, for living your dream in your lovely home for those six years already. You are one of the shining points of Divine Love on this planet is my sense.
Agreed! I am also very impressed at all the DIY crafts/furniture they created as well as their re-purposing of old materials/treasures. Really admirable!

I loves this episode fot two reasons: One, the nerdiness of it. So cool to see adults living out their fantasy lives, no matter if others might find that silly. Two, finally a couple who has lived in their tiny home long term. I feel like we mostly get to see very fresh builds so it's nice to see a house that has proved its worth when it comes to livability.
But she's a maker as well, and he must be a bit of a dreamer too. I love her practical approach to things: "when it looks like bread, it's done" 😆 Lovely family!
Like others have said the wife is definitely a maker too. As well as the food, clothes, garden, the toys for their daughter, she makes dreams come true and inspires. A fabulous couple 😊
This feels like something straight out of a 19th-century novel! Their lives seem so peaceful and attuned to the rhythms of nature--they clearly respect and live lightly on the land in a manner we could all learn from. And what a wonderful environment for their young daughter to grow up in--playing outside with animals, with the scent of fresh-baked bread always present in her home and a cozy private nook of her own to return to. As I watch these tiny house videos, I am always reminded that more items and more waste can clutter our lives and cloud our innate appreciation for simple pleasures, and for time spent together---a counterintuitive realization in a culture in which we are constantly bombarded by ads for the newest consumer item or fantasies about a new house, car, or boat.
It is a healthy atmosphere for their daughter to grow up in BUT, with no friends her own age I feel it will become an extremely lonely one. The problem with parents who are single minded about their dreams is that they think their children have the same love and feelings for that dream. As they become teenagers sometimes nothing could become further from the truth.
This episode had me grinning the entire time. I froze the screen at the end where there is a shot of the house and all the land around it. I’ve never seen anything more ideal. And to hear that the price was low for that land surprised me! The house was filled with spectacular craftsmanship; between the wood work and the welding. I heard the pride they feel having created their own home. And, I loved her sense of style! Her hair was intricately woven into her head piece and her leggings and outfit were definitely one of a kind. And the baby! Oh my, she looked like a doll with all of those flaxen ringlets. What a lifestyle to grow up in. I think I enjoyed this video most of all!
The land may have been cheaper than most in that region because it is on a clear-cut windy hilltop. (If they mentioned the cost and the acreage I missed it.) This couple did a wonderful job of turning that hilltop into a lovely space for living and gardening.
@@marilynndesilva7620 I didn't hear how big the land is either, but sections with that sort of view are now at least half a million and often have covenants where you aren't allowed a tiny house, dictating a minimum size of house of for example 120m2, sad but true. And other silly rules. Don't think the wind affects the price in our region
Stoph is something else. Constantly thankful for the compliments and also shouting out all the help they've received and pointing out how lucky they've been. I'm very impressed by this family.
I do love her she is so honest at heart just beautiful loved her personality you can see how much her husband adores her. Their daughter is beautiful she has everything she needs and get to run outdoors that is just awesome. I really enjoyed this episode
😃😊✨💛 I am with him on that delight! I love the whole of the series of JRRR Tolkien, and when I think of Tolkien, CSLewis is right there with him with the Narnia series.
Samwise and Rosie live on top of a mountain! This was adorable, I hope they build their hobbit house, so Anna can keep sewing (I make historical clothing, so I understand all about the need for lots of space to store the big dresses).
The modern mass-produced tiny homes are lovely and serve a purpose… but this home is truly a labour of love. Everywhere you look there’s something that’s been lovingly crafted by the owners. And… the finished product is a beautiful home, not a mishmash of junk as some homes built this way can turn into. A true credit to them. And a truly beautiful simple life they get to share 💜🌻😃
It’s wonderful to finally see a tiny house owner who loves sewing. I always wonder where I’d put all of my fabric and other necessary sewing items if I were to live small. 😆
As so many have mentioned, I too love this episode for oh so many reasons (environmental, artistry, work ethic, and the list goes on!) :) I noted too, they are some of the few I've watched that say, "thank you" when Bryce points out something, rather than "I know," "yeah," or the like. Their manners and politeness really stand out. Such a sweet couple, teaching their little one(s) a very strong foundation. 😍 Thank you for sharing with us!
I think, but am not sure (I'm American and have always lived in America, so no expert on other countries at all), that when the Australians and New Zealanders say "Yeah, yeah," as we often hear, it's a friendly thing, much as we Americans will say something like "Yes, thank you..." and then continue to the subject. I don't think any of the homeowners on this channel are being rude, it's just however each country's dialect and speech customs come into play. Also, a great many of the homeowners DO say "Thank you" whenever Bryce points up something he finds special. I've yet to find an episode where someone doesn't, but maybe I'm not paying as close attention as others pay.
There isn't anything not to love about this home. The land, gardens & views are spectacular. The home itself & deck are so welcoming, what a great place to live & grow up. The woodworking inside was beautiful. I wish them the best.❤
Bryce your research skills are top notch. You never disappoint in what you present to your viewers. You bring the very best to us and I personally I'm appreciative of the hard work that we don't get to see behind the scenes that makes it possible for us to enjoy such amazing content. I'm kind of glad you didn't take this show to television because I mean who what network would pass at an opportunity to have this show on TV. Thankfully for viewers like myself we enjoy it fully on this platform, where we can engage and ask questions if we have any. I've watched almost every single video save for 1 or 2 and I've watched them over and over again, especially during lock- down when you were not able to put out much content but your videos are so nice, watching them over 10 times is OK. God bless you and Rasa and again, thank you. 🙏
Bryce, you must be very proud of how your videos encourages people to embark in the adventure that is building a tiny house and I must say, it is great to have the opportunity to see such spectacular houses, each one clearly reflects the people who built it.
I have watched nearly every living big in a tiny house episode over the years. This is my absolute favorite. I love the simplicity of the" hobbit" life they portray. Beautiful!
Cutest little house! I follow them on Instagram and in awe of the beauty! She made the CUTEST frog jacket and I was sold! She did everything- down to using greens from her garden to dye the material. Uber impressed!
If I could relive my life, Stoph is the way I would strive to be: maker, provider, enabler, thoughtful, extremely courteous, show-er of adoration, solid, reserved. He is an obvious complement to Anna: dreamer, creator, humorist, one who "makes do" and loves it, also maker. The home and grounds are wonderful--it would not work without Stoph and Anna. I had to view this video three times!
"Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a hobbit-hole, and that means comfort."
My favorite part of watching is to see how everyone adds their custom touch to things. I was inspired by the warm look of the wood (almost red in color), the thick cabinetry wood design, and the natural wood branches incorporated into this house. Love that house.
Wow! A beautiful property / setting for this tiny! That last drone shot showed the absolute beauty of the area - absolutely gorgeous! Such a warm, inviting home. :)
They are just delightful. This place is my overall FAVORITE of all your tours. Everything is gorgeous, the wood work, the textiles, the beautiful healthy plants, the gorgeous garden. Wow just wow💛💛💛💛💛 And the daughter just adorable❤️
This one was one of the best I’ve seen. The love, time, and sweat equity they have invested is obvious and they did a beautiful job. It’s nice to see people living their best lives!❤️
What a charming couple, Anna and Stoph! I love their little hobbit house and all of their beautiful designs. The wood is outstanding! I especially like their garden. I think that’s the first time I’ve seen stones used for the garden raised beds. Absolutely love it. Really enjoyed the fact that they took things off of their land and used them. Very very nice. Thank you so much Bryce and Rasa!!
I actually love that they made stuff in a little-money time of their lives and kept it, it shows how creativity, good design, and aesthetic wins over having a fortune to spend. One of my favorite houses. Also it always amazes me how when I find myself liking the owners and their ideology, then the house fits my taste exceptionally too
I absolutely love this house & I’m another one who is very happy to learn that they’ve lived a few years in it too. Beautiful to look around & see everything in its place & great to hear of co-sleeping too. We did that with our children & its was lovely. A beautiful & happy life well living & I can see many happy times ahead for the little family. Great to see Mum wearing & making her own & her family’s clothes too & oh those darling white blonde curls, such a sweet family. 🥰
How delightful. Absolutely love this beautifully crafted home. Lovely creative couple. What a magical place for their child(ren) to grow up in. I just have to watch again. 🧚♀️🧙♀️🧝🏻♀️🧚♂️🧡
This is the most interesting episode ever! The scenic views are breathtaking and the owners are enthralling. This is what life should be. Simple and yet fulfilling. What an inspiration!!
A delightful family and I'm so happy Anna & Stoph met whilst young enough to build this life, welcome Molly and know they have years of enjoyment ahead.
this is a beautiful home and family. I was watching a video of Bryce from 6 years ago. Bryce has come along way in 6 years with his amazing channel and it also shows how far tiny homes have come along too. Bryce's enthusiasm and rapport to all he meets, is amazing.
The love in this beautiful home is palpable. What a delightful, serene vibe with all the plants and wood..the incredible personal crafting . The location is amazing and the deck is perfect to take advantage of it. The gardens are great..in fact this is one of those rare tinies where I would change nothing. Congratulations on finding your perfect space and place. You guys should be so proud of what you have achieved.
Anna & Stoph & your little Fairy Angel...thank you for sharing your beautiful magical home with us. Thank you Bryce for finding all these fantastical spaces and bringing them to us. You all leave me with wonder and admiration...& hopes that I might one day have a space of inspiration. I know that tiny homes like this are years of vision, commitment, and day to day building and nurturance. Thank you again for brightening our lives. XO
OMG, this is one of my absolute favorite tiny houses. I am a huge LOTR fan and always want a middle earth decor. Good on you for making your dream come true!
A truly remarkable tiny homes episode ..Had a smile on my face all through....a virtuous wife and a hard working husband...perfect match....beautiful home garden and life. ...Hats off to you guys.
Their craftsmanship and hobbit grassroots permeate every nook of their home. Anna is a piece of art herself, as rendered in her cloths, cooking, gardens, etc. Only a strong loving, and understanding man would grant her the right to be that way. Stoph have made possible to fulfill that dream. Kudos to this incredible couple. The bond is patently pure. Everything is a reflection of their creativity, and that daughter of them is the beautiful cherry on the top! 💗 Thank you Rasa and Bryce for bringing to us so much joy and inspiration. God bless you! 🙏
I can’t stop watching! The outdoor space, the wind break enclosure, the beautiful wood, Anna leaning into and gazing at Stoph, Molly’s golden ringlets, the stones, the calendula, the potions. Free-flowing love and massive creativity. Not to mention enthusiastic Bryce’s hair grown back and Rasa’s precision artistry!! “Absolutely” superb!!♥️♥️♥️
Bryce, I have loved everyone of your tiny house tours and interviews! You always help me see the joys that individuals, couples, and families can and do experience! Up until now, I do not think I have ever picked one that really jumped out to me as my favorite episode. But now I have! This Hobbit-Core episode has just given me personally great joy because like you, I too felt the joy that Anna and Stoph have experienced in their home! Thank you for being the one who introduced me to this lifestyle!
I love when ppl know exactly who they are n get to live a full, happy n healthy life without the input of others who don’t share their imagination. They’re a beautiful family n it’s a beautiful home. ❤️
Such Humor, when it looks like Bread then it’s ready! Like that attitude. And living here for 4 years that’s Something and Admire the Lady for making her Own clothes & toys for the baby.
We really enjoyed THIS sharing of a most delightful tiny house, land and lifestyle. *This home shines brightly with sooooo much LOVE and appreciation for nature.* It is really inspiring & exciting getting to see how people have combined the romance and absolute do-ability of living wholistically on the land, with the capabilities and technologies of the present. Their whole creation felt filled with intention and it inspired us to feel great wonderment for how we can ALL live our lives. _Cheers and gratitude from our tiny house to theirs, and for your creating and sharing of this video._
This has got to be one of the most fantastic episodes I have seen. The colors, timbers, wood, craftsmanship on the inside is gorgeous. Married with the plants and tasteful use of uneven shapes (like the trees) makes it excellent. and the outdoor deck space is to die for.
What an amazing home, gardens and location! The love and creativity put in them glows! And an amazing family - the way Anna and Stoph look at each other is adorable. I wish them joy and happiness. I look forward to you revisiting the Hobbit home soon!
A lovely couple who live life like it should be lived, fulfilling their hobbit dreams. Such a beautiful house and those beds in the garden with the awesome stone work. ❤
This one straight out of a storybook! So magical and beautiful💚 Firstly, the location, its absolutely breathtaking.. the lovely garden is another beautiful spot.. then the little kitchen play area for their baby is adorable too! Loved everything about this one.. I wish I could move to NZ one day and build my very own tiny house.. its such a beautiful country🌿 Much love Bryce and Rasa💚
This is so magical. I can't believe in today's world a beautiful family gets to live so beautifully 💕 ...away from this war and chaos. Hope we all get to live with so much love and earthiness.
Bryce, you make me smile with gratitude & just love for you & Rasa & what you have given to us. I'm a forever LOTR person; and this couple & their friendly homestead seems like the new generation LOTR. be well. peace.
I love so much about this tiny house - the materials it's built from, the way the plants are integrated, the deck, the quirkiness - it's gorgeous!! ♥ One thing I would miss, though, is a nice comfy sofa. There's really no living room space to speak of. Yet clearly it works for the lifestyle of this amazing couple. The house and the gardens are all so delightful! I'm sure a hobbit would be very happy to live there. 😉♥
By far my favorite home! Such craft, such creativity. The garden is beautiful, the land and views and interior wood working is breathtaking. Well done!
What a awesome whimsical home....love the porch...and the window in the kitchen...put your food on it and put it on the porch....growing your own produce is the best ....just lovely 😍....enjoy your home ...

Lovely couple, beautiful cozy home, great use of timbers, cute daughter and a hobbit life. Simplest things make us really happy.

I like how she just straight up said, "I want to live like a hobbit". Looks like a cool dream these two are living.
I loves this episode fot two reasons: One, the nerdiness of it. So cool to see adults living out their fantasy lives, no matter if others might find that silly. Cool living ❤️
Totally agree with you. Very well said.
Not silly at all...
A dreamer (the wife) and a maker (the husband) is a perfect match indeed! I really love their house and their way of life. More blessings to them.
such a fitting way to put it. IT's clear they like each other a lot. Very calm energy.
But she's a maker as well, and he must be a bit of a dreamer too.
I love her practical approach to things: "when it looks like bread, it's done" 😆
Lovely family!
She grew an amazing garden, makes clothing and food. They're both dreamers and both makers.
so lovely and harmony❤️

I think the best analogy would be akin to a storybook home, think Redwall or The Hobbit, or even older things like Grimm fairytales
You said a mouthful of wisdom right here. What a great thing they doing, living the way they want to.
Yeah. I hope they give her the opportunity to socialise with other kids/people that are not her parents.
well said
Blessed to have a "we" husband! Every sentence he used, "we" is definitely his priority! Love this beautiful home!

I heard them say that the house cost around $30,000, but how much did they say for the land? I must have missed that.
I stopped it to 😆 wow its amazing
I live in Nelson and I wonder what he meant by cheap, as land is definitely not cheap here. Would love to know how much it was

What a sweet family and a sweet house, they really nailed the heart of what a home should be. Just surround yourself with the things you love.
What a perfect couple with a perfect home ♥️ all the best to you both and your wonderful life!
This is such a cosy home with a magical feel to it! I love the lifestyle of this family and their creativity and craftsmanship!
Their home suits them so well. I can understand why it feels like a member of the family.
A true Labour of love.
I love this house and this couple. They just seem so pure and lovely.
The best time of the week has come again!! So excited to watch another amazing tour of an amazing tiny house!!
Thanks so much! I hope you enjoy!
@@livingbig what kindness towards each other and to the land. And to be interviewed by you and filmed by your lovely R. Is allowing them to shine
I absolutely love this home. All the recycling of wood from their property. The gorgeous gardens & self sufficient life style. Gorgeous!
Gorgeous home, and beautiful family! Clearly, lots of love put into what they've built.
Lovely young family and a beautiful home and land. Enjoyed.
The house, the location, plus the personality of the husband and wife , make this a super enviable mix.
The seat in front of the window is phenomenal! What an amazing home!
The lady is so witty and lively!! May her positivity stay the same always.
I love how much thought they put into everything and how they have extended the living space with the outdoors!
A truly remarkable tiny homes episode ..Had a smile on my face all through....a virtuous wife and a hard working husband...perfect match....beautiful home garden and life. ...Hats off to you guys.
Amazing! Lovely home, lovely family! I love her style Anna looks so cute 🤩 Would love a tour of the gardens 💕
Yes please!!!?
They seem so in love. It’s wonderful to see a family that enjoys each other.💜💕
Hobbit Core decor...who knew?
Only you Kiwis. Live it. Another great vid!
Hands down my ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE!!!!!!! The ultimate tiny house dream!!!!!
The view is simply breathtaking. What a spectacular location.
Thank you Rasa and Bryce for bringing to us so much joy and inspiration. God bless you! 🙏
I love everything you say here, apart from I must say, women do not have to be granted by men to be a certain way 💚
such an incredible home! i love how down to earth it is. it really feels like a home rather than just a house.
Love the design of the house and the place, like your in the paradise..thanks for sharing Bryce and Rasa..God bless
Anna is a master of short-sentenced commentaries. The house is loveable!
With that phenomenal location, they could eventually expand into an earth sheltered home, and go FULL hobbit!
Such Humor, when it looks like Bread then it’s ready! Like that attitude. And living here for 4 years that’s Something and Admire the Lady for making her Own clothes & toys for the baby.
What an amazing, adorable family! They are so talented. It is so refreshing to see people that focus on what really matters! Great home as well!
The sound of that AIR 💨 at the background is sooooo peace....!!
So magical and beautiful💚
Firstly, the location, its absolutely breathtaking.. the lovely garden is another beautiful spot.. then the little kitchen play area for their baby is adorable too!
Loved everything about this one..
I wish I could move to NZ one day and build my very own tiny house.. its such a beautiful country🌿
Much love Bryce and Rasa💚
This is so magical. I can't believe in today's world a beautiful family gets to live so beautifully 💕 ...away from this war and chaos. Hope we all get to live with so much love and earthiness.
This is definitely a favorite. Beautiful home! Many thanks!
Bryce, you make me smile with gratitude & just love for you & Rasa & what
you have given to us. I'm a forever LOTR person; and this couple &
their friendly homestead seems like the new generation LOTR. be well.
I love this house and the beautiful gardens around it. What an awesome couple. I really love it when young people live their dream
Love that tiny hobbit house so much! And damn...they are such a sweet family! ❤
