    I’ve done your videos in the past and knew when I woke up one day with pain in my shoulder and arm what I needed to do. Within minutes the pain was gone!!! Fascia never gets talked about. You are the only person I have learned what it is and what it does. Thank you for your slow movements and calm voice. I am 63.

      This is a great question! While both pilates and Essentrics are lower-intensity techniques with limited equipment, they are quite different. Essentrics is a technique that utilizes essentric movements (movements that elongate rather than constrict the muscles) to improve flexibility and mobility whiles also increasing muscle strength. In Essentrics, we tend towards long flowing movements rather than short repetitive movements to preserve and enable full-body mobility.
