Actor Johnny Depp is suing ex-wife Amber Heard for $50 million for defamation in connection with Heard’s 2018 Washington Post op-ed, in which she spoke out about being the victim of domestic violence. Heard’s article did not specifically name Depp as her alleged abuser, but according to Depp’s lawsuit, it relied “on the central premise that Ms. Heard was a domestic abuse victim and that Mr. Depp perpetrated domestic violence against her.” Amber Heard is counter-suing Depp for $100 million.
The defamation trial began Monday in Fairfax County Circuit Court in Virginia, with jury selection completing on the same day. I had to go through public slander like this 3 years ago and it ruins your life. I still think about it probably 10 times a day every single day and am afraid and anxious every time I go out in public. Therapy has helped but you can't undo the trauma and you can't talk to every person who read the accusation to tell them the truth, so it feels like it never leaves me.

Maybe you try another therapy with another technique.
Start some self defense training like karate or judo. This will help because your body and your mind learn at the same time.
You know, if your mind is calm and rational but your body is not, you can not overcome your trauma.
Sounds strange, but please give it a try. Boxtraining may be helpful, too.

Therapy alone does not fix everything. Just can't.
I never met someone who was healthy and happy after therapy alone. They had to change their life completely. Move away, start another job, do different hobbies, start body- mind- centering and other things.
It happened to the body, right?
So the body needs to get over the trauma by facing friendly training fights.
It strengthens body and soul to do self defense sports like karate, aikido, judo, tai- chi and whatever is out there.
When people are afraid of spiders, they go and see tarantulas in a specific training to get over their fears.

I hope they enter into evidence the many texts from Amber's parents. They state repeatedly that they are behind Johnny and are very well aware of Amber's histrionic behavior.

Why is this judge giving everyone a hard time about how long something is going to take? It takes however long it takes. This is a trial and it shouldn't be rushed by the judge.

You can tell alot by just their body language who's the abuser and who's the victim. Amber sits turned against him, staring at him almost the entire time. She looks intimidating. Johnny however stares down most of the time and doesn't even once look at amber. You can also tell by him fidgeting with his hair and the pen that he's very uncomfortable and anxious. That's speaks volumes
be careful when dissecting body language. these are experienced actors, and different people react differently to emotional distress. I believe Amber is in the wrong, but that belief is not based on body language (it's mostly based on recordings of her mocking him for refusing to fight back when she becomes physically abusive)

Those lawyers are taking any, but any little details to try show to the jury that JD is a violent man. If you repet it enough times usually you might convince couple of people. On this case, I'm not so sure lol

As an actual victim of domestic violence, I call BS on Amber Heard’s claims that Johnny Depp was physically abusive. I know what real bruises look like and how real victims act. From all I’ve gathered with this case over the past few years, the victim in this case appears to be Johnny! From the moment I heard the two were getting married, I had a bad feeling that Johnny would end up regretting it and I’ve never even met either of them. My gut feeling has never been wrong! Good for Johnny for standing up for himself and filing the defamation lawsuit. It took a lot of guts for him to do this knowing the public would have full access to the trial. I hope it all works out in his favor. Hollywood owes him a huge apology! God bless Johnny and his family.

I watched the whole trial in the UK, I listened to all the recordings and I still dont understand how Johnny Depp list the case in the UK. If people cannot recognise a narcissistic little horror that is Amber Heard, then they really have no common sense. Everything has to be about her! It’s crazy reading the comments, I haven’t seen one in support of amber. I am completely on Johnny’s side but it’s interesting that no one is on hers at all! Thank god! I can only hope the jury sees it too but the UK trial has me worried.
The UK trial, Johnny was suing the Sun not Amber. A lot of testimony and witnesses weren’t allowed in. Not even the cops testimony was allowed. The sun was reporting her accusations and the judge ruled they had a right to print it.
The article she wrote in 2018, Disney fired him after that. He has no choice but to sue her for defamation and get his side out in the public now. It all comes down to if the jury believes her article was about him and that it hurt his career. I hope 🤞 he wins after all she has put him through.
UK trial was different. Often times news organizations have a lot of leeway in what can be considered defamation or defamatory in order to preserve freedom of press.

I agree... I was beaten for years and i NEVER found anything that covered cuts and bruises... Unless she had special effect make up artists everywhere she went with latex filler for cuts and specialised concealer like you get for tattoos for the bruises (which is applied so thick its pretty obvious you have it on) then its virtually impossible.... And id also like to address the mention of arnica cream which actually made me laugh out loud and ill tell you why..... Arnica cream is used for reducing bruising among other things but for arnica cream to fade a bruise it takes days... Even the higher concentrated brands dont work overnight and also... Doesnt she drink alcohol... Isnt there mentions of the parties she was frequenting and bottles of wine she drank? Well heres the thing.... IF you drink alcohol while using arnica cream it has the OPPOSITE effect and will make the bruises worse and even cause bleeding due... Sooooo god amber stop lying already nothings getting you out of this 😂
