I related to all of them. My psychologist said I had an above average IQ when I was a child but I didn’t believe it. As I got older and applied myself I saw that I could get a 4.0 gpa but I hate school lol. My lack of effort makes people not believe that I’m intelligent but I do feel highly intelligent.
I envy you that confidence and self esteem. Seriously I sometimes wish I didn't realize my stupidity because it causes my anxiety, not that I will embarrass myself (I've done it so many times I don't even care enymore) but that I will not make it in life. The simplest things scare me. Well mayby my SECRET intelligence will show up eventually

school made me think, and still does sometimes, that intelligence is only about being good at math, chemistry and physics, getting straight-a all the time and if you are not good at these things you are dumb and stupid. i am glad i changed my mind abou that now, kind people on the internet with the same type of intelligence as me make me feel so happy to be like this and to know there is more like me out there. i think schools need to stop telling us the only way to succeeding at life and being smart is being good at math, et cetera.

The biggest struggle of all of these is-society expects the opposite of you. A easy going, organised, morning person whose always consistent and on schedule. Now that i know i may be intelligent according to this video and others from this channel, I still find it a huge problem, constantly demotivated and overthinking, anxious and rushed by other people's pace, and this has been a problem since i was a kid, especially with parents of a completely different personality who forces you to fit into their mold.
My takeaway from this video and personal knowledge is that I, as an individual of the INTP community,
is a lazy genius that perhaps my opinion is more than overlooked, especially in society today where everything feels really rushed and the ideal is an extroverted person who has their life together.
But i also have my doubts. What if this is just what we wish to think, that we're intelligent and there is no need to get our shit together? Cause that's what im struggling with. Everyone sees me as a lazy person and I too see that in myself, and even though these are signs of intelligence, it also signals signs of mental issues, and INTP are known to be one of the unhappiest MBTIs. What if we are just hiding these problems and trying to assure ourselves that it's not a bad thing? Or has society molded us to think that these signs are bad and discouraged and in fact are normal and perhaps even intelligence like what this video has shown? Then again, overthinkers tend to be unhappy and demotivated, due to all these overthinking, lol.
I truly do wish to know how to deal with this. I doubt anyone is going to read all of these or even find this comment but if you do, I'm more than willing to have a conversation about it in the replies.

The Dunning-kruger effect. It describes a rough correlation between confidence in intelligence and actual intelligence, most people who were extremely confident in their intelligence scored most of the worst results in intelligence. Then the graph dips down, less confident people scored higher on intelligence until it reached the highest scoring people on intelligence who were more confident than other intelligent people. However the most intelligent people were still not as confident as the least intelligent.
My theory is that smart people aren't confident in their intelligence because they know how much they don't know and often underestimate it. This also causes them to care enough to learn more further expanding their knowledge base. The most intelligent people likely went through this themselves and gained more confident in realising that they reached a level higher than their intelligent peers. On the other hand the people with low intelligence over estimate their intelligence, likely because they don't realise how much they don't know and their confidence doesn't lead to the drive to learn more

I’m almost to the point where it’s hard to talk to people. I read a lot. I would love to have that someone I can have those deep conversations with. To be honest it does make me feel my life is missing this aspect. A person I can truly talk to.
