I'm making this right now and i browned the chicken thighs on the sautee setting in the instant pot and when they were nice and brown i added the onion and garlic
Thanks, Dimitra. I have the same size Instant Pot. I started to read the instructions and thought, this is ridiculous, so I started trying it on my own just like you.It’s difficult to find recipes for this size of pot. I would love an Instant Pot version of your Creamy Fasolada with kale soup.
My favourite comfort food! The only difference is that I cook the chicken in the oven and then later add the orzo pasta. I’ve also used lamb chops/forequarter chops too with rosemary and lots of garlic!! Delicious 🤤
Very nice recipe as usual. Why when I boil a whole chicken I see blood between the bones? Do I use cold water or boiled water? I wash the chicken very good and I took it out of freezer the night before?
A pressure cooker - only - saves you time, any pressure cooker works, mine is probably 30 years old , I have returned the Instant Pot didn’t like it because I really prefers the old one, which I control as I wish. You can cook all recipes on the stove, first the chicken until it’s cooked to your liking, than lower the heat after you add the orzo or rice , and cook as same as you cook any rice, or bake it in the oven. I would cook at 350 deg covered for 30 minutes.

Roasted asparagus is easy and pairs well with this recipe. As does sautéed spinach :)
