Congratulations on Terrell and his friend on buying that building. Realistically I could see the renovation cost being double of their expectations. I sincerely hope they will be successful in completing the reno and look forward to Johnathan showing the results. The only other issue I can see besides the renovation is the busy traffic. Johnathan you're almost up there to 10k. I remember being a follower when you were at 3k and I hope that your numbers go to 100k. 😊😁😉
It's a beautiful multi-family property that will require $$$$$ to remodel properly to produce a good return per unit and ultimately decent profit. Please get good, honest contractors and be your own project manager. Get expert advice about areas of construction you don't know, to understand and question contractors work, step by step. Otherwise results can fall way short of optimal.
I would keep that entryway floor~~a good clean and polish, it would look nice. I wonder if they couldn't also save some of the bathrooms' black and white flooring? I agree that with time, money, and great help, this could be a great investment. I'm sure the neighbors will appreciate them bringing this house back to its original beauty. Please, please make arrangements to see this home after they finish!! I wish these young men much success!!!
Don't kill young peoples dream. They are young and have more energy. When you get older, you want a house already done or just don't want to move because you invested so much time and money. 21 years in, just put a new roof on a new heater and hot water heater.
This could be a nice luxury apartment. This property got a lot of potential and I appreciate these young brothers working together to build generational wealth. I wish them great success and hope their dreams come true.
I don't want a rental property, therefore I wouldn't purchase it, but I'm happy for the investors. A bit of unsolicited advice for the investors; $100/$150 thousand is not a lot of money, and with a project that size, there is going to be cost overrun. Know who you are hiring as your contractors, because having to constantly switch out contractors can eat into your funds, and quickly kill your project. Wishing you guys the best.
I grew up about 5 blocks away on Barrington road, this houses we thought were black Hollywood, the talented tenth lived there...amazing walk through...
I wrote a comment and forgot to save! I believe that's an art deco pendant light in the foyer. Beautiful house. Please show it again when it's fixed up.
I really love your videos. Like this one showcasing these brothers on their goals and I am sending positive vibes that they're successful! I would love to see "The After." But I really need for you to establish a pattern as I have mentioned many times before. Right to left or left to right. That way you won't miss any rooms and avoid going back n forth...
The cost of clearing the property looks ( I’m just a layman) to be the amount quoted for the over all Reno. Considering the location of the building, it seems as the investors would also hire an architect for design input. As you stated at the outset, the building has the appearance (presently) of an old church. For the property to bring a righteous return………those fellows are looking at a couple of million to me. As I said, I have a layman’s opinion but structurally the place has been neglected so long it will take more than just a “dream” to bring it back to its original intent. To be utilized as a rental, the appeal would have to be outstanding ! The young men sound intelligent but didn’t talk much about design, etc. Perhaps their insight is swinging toward an area that is not necessarily homestead.❤
It definitely has potential! Would love to see the finish results though....smart move to open the kitchen up...J.M...I couldn't say right now...I wish you could go back after the renovation and then give us tour...but I like the size, and this is definitely a good investment property 👍and i hope those 2 young men are successful in the renovations✌️
I pray that these young men achieve whatever they need to be successful and prosperous in their endeavors.
I was saying the same...
Congratulations guys and Jonathan please share the progress when they're done

I’d like to see it after it is renovated.
I look forward to seeing this project when those young men have completed it. Wishing them much success ❤❤
I would love to see the renovation once it is completed. Kudos to these young men.
Wow that's a major job $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ If done right go for it.

This house was one grand house when it was owned by my great aunt.
It is impressive to see the young investors. Great location and the structure looks good. Kudos and much success 🙌🏽 in the project.

Love this old home, needs a lot of work, if I had the money I would restore it.
Good luck young men❤
Great investment property to me without knowing the area comps. Good luck young men and look forward to the finished remodel.

I actually really like this property....it has a lot of character. Spacious for the amount of units.
Yikes! A lot of work, but doable. Good luck!
I'd buy it
I don't know Jonathan. That looks more alike, two hundred and fifty thousand dollar renovation to me. But I wish them young men the best..
Are these young men contractors and if so are they going to do the work themselves? They will need a lot of help and money. Good luck to all involved.
Please Johnathan post it again after renovation.
Made a video just like this of my 500 sqft nyc studio apt!
Oh heck No
Not one penny
Is this Druid Hill Park in Baltimore?
This will be really nice when it’s done. Also, how many yeah’s did you guys count?😂😂😂
That's a money pit 😬
It looks like an old mortuary.

They're going to put a cosmetic band-aid on it and try and rent it to a "one born every minute," type.
You don't know that🙄
@sammiefrazier6672 JMO
