Makes the process of adjusting one of the worst bracelets I've ever had on my wrist so much easier, I could actually follow what was happening. Thank you for uploading this, may it stay on RUclips forever.
Great directions. I was eventually able to adjust my bracelet. My links were super tight and this was a doable but very difficult adjustment. In the end I needed three links removed. I unfortunately damaged one link in the process and the remaining two I removed have the pins jammed in them. Looks like I will never be able to adjust it again. Took me about an hour. But overall very satisfied with the result. Thank you!
Thank you so much for this, dude! First time ever messing around with watches. Just got mine today, and soon realized my wrist is way too thin and the watch was sooo loose. Saw this video, and it made things way easier. I didn't have tools, tho, so I had to manage myself with a tiny thin screw (yeah, an actual screw), a pair of pliers and a pocket knife. You're great!
Phew. Thank you. Just bought me a retro Casio, almost identical to the one I had in the late 70s. This video was a great help. Got my very loose watch band fitting in less than 30 minutes.
Hi wNc, I am a UK viewer of this video, which I found to be extremely useful. I have just bought this watch, and thought that it may need a visit to my local Jeweller to do. However, this video has given me the confidence to try this myself. So, many thanks for that. Terry davis
Amazing video easy to follow in 20 mins I was able to adjust my watch! I did it all before I had to clock into work this morning! I got it on sale on amazon for $27 so I couldn't wait to get home to set it up lol I did it before work thanks!!
First time I ever took out links on one of my Casio watches. This video made it VERY easy. It made me laugh when he said "you'll hear a click" and when I did the same procedure I heard the click exactly like it was in the video. Thank you for making this easy.
Same feedback - very clear step by step instruction and I've successfully adjusted my casio watch (MWD-100H). Saved me time and money of paying someone to do it for me. Thank you for the video!
I have just purchased my casio ae1200 and its bracelet was too loose. so I could adjust easily just with a mini screwdriver thanks to this great video. thank you very much
Thanks my man! Not my first rodeo, and I have the tools, but that was the most difficult band I've ever adjusted. Posting this video in my Amazon review!
This works like a charm, I've never adjusted my watch before but this video really helps. Its easy a simple to follow. I used a small pin and it worked out fine. Thank you very much, It is very much appreciated!
I freaked out when i took the pin out but your video made it so easy to me to adjust the strap and put the pin back without any tools. Man you're the best 💓💓💓💓
Just got this watch and this video helped a lot. I wish those instructions came in the manual, but hey, this video was so easy to follow, I have it all memorized.
Thank you so much for this video. Digging the Casio "Royale" love! The last links ( the ones attached to either side of the clasp) were way harder to remove! Did anyone else have this issue and does anyone have any tips for how to get them out more easily?
Thanks for the tutorial, great explanation so easy to follow. I removed 3 links & use the tightest micro adjustment, perfect fit for my wrist! God bless U 🙏
Great tutorial. I've done this before, but I wanted to watch it anyway to see if you had any problem getting those retainers to pop out, because I have. I've pried and pried on those things so hard that I've deformed the screwdriver blade. Even once they're out and the band adjusted, they're been difficult to get back in and difficult to remove again in the future. I've purchased a few of the SKMEI cheapest equivalent to this I could find, the 1335, just so I could have the correctly shaped black metal bracelet for my black AE1200s, and their retainers have what I would consider to be a normal amount of resistance to remove those retainers. There are two links in one of my silver Casios, I think it's the AE-1000, bracelet that can never be removed again because I was pushing so hard on the nib that I slipped past them and they're mostly flat now.
the piece at the very ends of the straps are not coming out like the rest are, it seems like its stuck there but it shjouldnt be, in the video they come out just fine but mine isnt coming out that easily like the rest, why is that
This was really helpful thanks! Pro tip: use a pair of flat nosed pliers to pull out the flat sim card looking thing from between the links - mine were really stiff and hard to pull out with my hands or needle nosed pliers.
Just destroyed my second one I don’t understand why that last link to the far right in your video won’t budge out for me both watches would not budge one bit just going to order another one if I can get any suggestions I would appreciate it thank you
There are bad-quality and good-quality batches. You can't get the pins out on bad-quality batches without destroying the bracelet. And there's no way to tell good quality and bad quality batches apart, before trying the link removal.
Many thanks. I've had some other brands of bracelet watch bands and they were not as well made or designed as this Casio band. I just got a new Casio that needs the band adjusted so this really helps. 👍👍 Now if Twist-O-Flex were as easy to shorten.
I did link removal for the first time today and I heavily recommend getting some fine mineral oil should one of the inserts be rough to pull out. I used sewing machine oil
Thank you for this amazing walkkthrough! I tried watching a bunch of other videos but this one was the most helpful so props to you for that! I had never done it before and your tutorial taught me super well. Keep up with the amazing work!!
Monday 3, 2023! Yay! Got my new casio watch and tried adjusting and removing links, resizing for the first time, first try and I'm so proud of myself. 🤭 Thanks for this video 😉
Great video that helped me struggle through this bracelet adjustment. It was a nightmare because the pins were a bee-yotch to remove. Other than that the adjustment went well.
Some pins on mine are impossible to remove without destroying the bracelet. And Reddit has lots of people with the same problem over the years. Apparently the pins have been machine-jammed in with enormous force. Are there some batches that have pins that actually work?
Good video, thanks, but my links fought a lot harder than yours so I would suggest wrapping something around the watch glass to make sure it doesn’t get scratched.
Thanks for the EXCELLENT video! Was able to adjust by removing a link on each side, piece of cake after following your tutorial...BTW, where did you purchase your YELLOW displayed World Timer?...cant find that particular model anywhere and I absolutely LOVE it!!
Appreciate the kind words. Glad it helped. The watch in the video is custom made by me. I have an Instagram with a few of my mods and some im selling. Feel free to message me on @watch_n_carry 👍
Thank you for this video, otherwise I wouldn't have figured it out. What a needlessly complex bracelet Casio, just use solid end links and push pins like everyone else.
Youre welcome. Yeah, agree: bad sdjustment system. Though solid endminks would be more expensive and thus probably not feasible for this this orice range of watch, i completely agree on push pins. So many budget bracelets on amazon that use push pins and look good for only $20
Im not sure. But that has definitely happened to me before too I would just by a spring bar kit from Amazon. They come with multiple sizes in the kit. Plus, i dont think spring bars are sold individually. 👍
Makes the process of adjusting one of the worst bracelets I've ever had on my wrist so much easier, I could actually follow what was happening.

Way better than the first video that pops up when you search how to do this. Thanks for the guide!
I could not agree more.Much more viewer friendly. THANKYOU
Exactly
Indeed!
Agreed, this was excellent.
Great video. Easy to follow. Just adjusted my new watch!! Thank you!!!
Short, detailed and clear. The best I've seen. Thank you.

I unfortunately damaged one link in the process and the remaining two I removed have the pins jammed in them. Looks like I will never be able to adjust it again. Took me about an hour. What tools did you use to remove links?

Enjoy your new watch👍
Simple, straight to the point and easy to follow, thats what we need more of! Thanks!
This is by far the clearest tutorial about adjusting chains. Thank you, sir.
Phew. Thank you. Just bought me a retro Casio, almost identical to the one I had in the late 70s. This video was a great help. Got my very loose watch band fitting in less than 30 minutes.

Great review. A simple explanation of adjusting this bracelet, the best on RUclips Sir Thank you kind regards from the UK.

Thank you watch n carry! My bros watch I got him for his bday was too big and we watched this and fixed it in no time 🎉
First time I ever took out links on one of my Casio watches.

Thanks. I'm really feeling lazy to go out to get it adjusted on a proper watch store, so I decided to just do it myself. You explain well!
Thank you, made the whole process easier, but having the right tools never hurts.
I have just purchased my casio ae1200 and its bracelet was too loose.
so I could adjust easily just with a mini screwdriver thanks to this great video.
thank you very much
Holy Moses I needed that! 80 watches and I’ve never seen a bracelet like this. Thanx!
Thanks my man! Not my first rodeo, and I have the tools, but that was the most difficult band I've ever adjusted. Posting this video in my Amazon review!
Thank you for making this video, I just adjusted my dad's old AE1200 strap who passed away so I can still rock it. (Y)!!
Great tutorial, sized up mine in under 15 minutes after watching your video. Thank you!
This works like a charm, I've never adjusted my watch before but this video really helps. Its easy a simple to follow. I used a small pin and it worked out fine. Thank you very much, It is very much appreciated!
The only video that explaines the spring loaded part. Thanx!
Thank you! Just got my AE1200 today and sizing it was a piece of cake after following your video!
I freaked out when i took the pin out but your video made it so easy to me to adjust the strap and put the pin back without any tools. Man you're the best 💓💓💓💓
Excellent video. Extremely complete with audio descriptions. I was reluctant to buy a watch with this type of band -- but not now after this viewing.
Thx this is the best video in the world, you helped me so much. Continue with those videos😂
Wow what a nice comment bro
Thanks for the tutorial, I've had this watch for years but never know how to adjust it.
Just got this watch and this video helped a lot. I wish those instructions came in the manual, but hey, this video was so easy to follow, I have it all memorized.
Great tutorial. I removed 3 links and adjusted the clasp on my Casio World Time in less than 5 minutes after watching this video.
Thank you so much for this video. Digging the Casio "Royale" love! The last links ( the ones attached to either side of the clasp) were way harder to remove! Did anyone else have this issue and does anyone have any tips for how to get them out more easily?
Great tutorial, I've just used it to enable me to adjust my bracelet. Thanks for posting it.
Just readjusted the size of my watch. Thank you for this guide on the how-to.
Best video explaining this on RUclips! And yes... the spring does fly!😅
Thank you so much for this video, what a PITA to adjust this type of bracelet. Couldn't have done it without your video. 👍🏼
Thanks for the tutorial, great explanation so easy to follow. I removed 3 links & use the tightest micro adjustment, perfect fit for my wrist! God bless U 🙏
Just wanted to thank you. Managed to adjust my Royale bracelet perfectly per your instructions.
Glad it helped👍
I actually had to remove 2 links, thank you so much for this comprehensive tutorial!
Thanks for this video, it was exactly what I needed. Haven’t seen links like these before and I was lost.
First time I've come across one of these bracelets and I was stumped! Thanks for the help!

Did this with a piece of pencil led and a toothpick! You make things so simple, thanks a lot man!
did you f**k....
This is my second watch because I destroyed the first one I can’t seem to get that last link pin to pry out no matter what I do any suggestions?
Same problem here how did you solve it ?
@@DennisYT there really are no solutions other than trying to replace with a watch from a good-quality batch
Great info. I looked at it and honestly hadn't a clue how to do it before watching this.
Thank you very much for this great tutorial! I saved money and time. The result is satisfing. Wishing you all the best!
Thanks for the video, I just followed along and managed to alter my new Casio World Time AE1200 !
Thanx for the tip on casio bracelet . i would have never figured it out without your video
the piece at the very ends of the straps are not coming out like the rest are, it seems like its stuck there but it shjouldnt be, in the video they come out just fine but mine isnt coming out that easily like the rest, why is that
Great video! Didn't need anything else! Just got a new casio watch and needed to adjust it, perfect!
Had to look for my pliers but I did it. 👍🏽 thanks man. My watch fitting nicely. Very easy instructions. Appreciate it.
This was a well-explained, step-by-step guide man, thanks!
Easy to follow. Simple instructions. Thank you for this video!
Great video!!! Never adjusted anything with a watch before, your video was such a great help. Thanks
This was really helpful thanks! Pro tip: use a pair of flat nosed pliers to pull out the flat sim card looking thing from between the links - mine were really stiff and hard to pull out with my hands or needle nosed pliers.
Thank so much dude! This is a great video and I’m honestly amazed at how well you explained it.😁😁😁
Absolutely amazing video, thank you! Just adjusted my strap and it was super easy to follow this. Thanks!!!

Using your instructions I successfully sized my Casio band. Thanks.
Thanks dude. I just adjusted my watch while watching this video.
Very helpful! Thanks! 👍
Thanks for showing me how to do this. It's actually quite easy and more finesse than brute force.
It is a shitty bracelet and the way to size it is atrocious.
@@stressballer It is a 30 dollar watch
Bad-quality batches cannot even be adjusted with brute force. The pins have been machine-jammed into bracelet links with enormous force.
Just got this watch thank you for the tutorial; very easy to understand.
Thanks dude, saved me a trip to the shops!
All done! Great stuff, thanks for the tutorial. That saved me time and probably £15 taking it to the Jeweller's.
Many thanks. I've had some other brands of bracelet watch bands and they were not as well made or designed as this Casio band. I just got a new Casio that needs the band adjusted so this really helps. 👍👍 Now if Twist-O-Flex were as easy to shorten.
It worked with a sharpened pencil for me! (Thanks for the vid.)
Thanks so much, man. Got my watch all sorted thanks to you.
I did link removal for the first time today and I heavily recommend getting some fine mineral oil should one of the inserts be rough to pull out. I used sewing machine oil
Great suggestion. Thanks
Cool! Got my new Casio today and your video helped a lot!

Wow . Thank u man. U where clear and straight to the point . Thanks appreciate it .
Thanks brother 👍 I fixed Watch chain after seeing your video
thank you for this video. what an awesome design. I used a set of small orange handled picks ($3 harbor freight) and needle nose pliers.
Some pins on mine are impossible to remove without destroying the bracelet. And Reddit has lots of people with the same problem over the years. Apparently the pins have been machine-jammed in with enormous force. Are there some batches that have pins that actually work?
