I own this watch for almost 5 years but just now i realize how simple and useful this watch become. Even when my smartwatch died caused by battery failure at this point this watch still healthy without any issue. I love this watch and wear it again for weeks now🎉🎉❤❤❤❤
I got the round version (ae1000w) of this watch back in 2010-2011, and it is still running strong on the factory battery. It's absolutely mind-blowing to me that it has been running for over 13 years now

I have this watch but the rounded case one , it's so useful and durable watch . It has all the needed functions that anyone could use plus showing the world time of many many countries around the world with just simple clicks along with analog clock of your local time that is always working to show your time no matter what you are doing on the watch . In addition to that it's suitable for swimming and water activities but not diving . Love it ❤

I just got my Casio AE-1200WHD today and I love it. The mute button had been pressed accidentally and didn't know how to unmute it. Thankfully in your tutorial video it was the first thing you mentioned! I also watched the rest of the video to double check I didn't miss any of the functions. I took two links out to fit my wrist and am very happy with it. I also used a pencil eraser and rubbed of the "Illuminator and World Time" printing on the bezel area. It really helps to make it look more classy with out the writing and especially with the stainless steel bracelet. Thanks again for this good video and also for the other ones you make.
Did the pencil eraser rub off any of the silver paint?

This really is a classic Casio and so affordable, personally I removed most of the lettering IMO I think it gives a much cleaner look , your tutorials are always so informative thank you.

@@prabhjitsangha4430 Hi I used a Q tip and some Goo Gone (from Amazon) I removed all of the lettering from the outside and most of the lettering from inside of the watch if you go onto the Just one more watch channel Jody did a video about 3 years ago he shows you exactly what to do...hope this helps ...good luck

@@prabhjitsangha4430 I did it to the watch I got today for just the outside letters. I after doing research on the different methods I used the eraser trick. I highly recommend using an eraser, as it's very quick and doesn't effect the silver color of the watch.

Thank you. The ‘manual’ really doesn’t give any idea of the functionality of this gem. I bought a silver with meta, bracelet and recently black with resin strap for international travel

I bought the black color version of the CASIO watch in your video. ⚠️ I am going to buy the all metal kit with crystal face from the SKXmod company. It will turn my CASIO Royale into a $175 dollar stainless steel metal watch with heavy weight feel.
@@WatchGeek I think that the DATE & TIME on this CASIO AE1200 watch should be a larger size. The DATE and TIME on the CASIO model W96H-1BV is a much larger size. I can see the TIME on it easily from 1 meter away !
The CASIO W96H-1BV is my favorite digital watch because it shows the TIME, DATE, DAY and YEAR all on the face without having to push any buttons for selection. You look at this watch and it shows everything all at once.... though the CASIO AE1200 watch is better when traveling to different countries.

love this watch, if I had to choose one watch out of my very conservative collection of watches, it would be my Casio AE1200 - I wish they made on that was solar powered, but a 10 year battery is fine.

I have this watch but I also have the GWB5600 Bluetooth in my collection I like this watch one of the best Features is that you can set the time on the map exactly were you are in the world I don’t know if any other watch has this Function

It's a perfect watch after you skx mod kit it to a full metal case with sapphire crystal for around a hundred bucks hahaha, making a cheap beater into an heirloom!
I bought this watch and had to sell it pretty soon, it has a design problem, you inadvertently push the Mode or the Adjust button all the time, when you move your hand in a certain way, it's a flaw with a quadratic design. I only had round digital watches before, they don't have this problem. Casio seems to addressed this issue on some new watches, protecting those two buttons, on the other side too.

The GShocks GD400 and the G8900 also allow you to flip time zones in multi time and world time.
they are tough for sure but too sporty for me 👍 i mostly wear those button shirts (a ceo or a good looking man should wear)

I was bummed out by the time zones. Since i want them removed. Issue is that in my work. I occasionally change timezones. And it kind of removes the meaning of the ease, with a watch " just as tedious as picking up the phone, unlock screen lock, too look at the time" Since i had too change back to my timezone. The fix is to just put all timezones in the same timzone. T1-T4= all UTC
