Wow!! How crazy that I’m looking up a tutorial and setting up the same watch in the same date you filmed this just three years later in 2023 same time zone too!
I am 61. I started wearing Casio a thousand yrs ago on my construction job. I purchased them at Kmart usually. I was rumbling through my closet the other day and found my 2010 AE1200WH-1A that I had put up in an old pair of work jeans when I retired (yes at 48). Anyway, there it was 14 yrs later still ticking away. I set the time from Calif to Central and have it on my wrist as I type. My young adult kids now think I'm Kool :))
I got this as a gift 5 years back. I didnot use this coz i dont like this much😁.But after viewing this in-depth review, i just took it and try all its features. Now i really like it❤️. Dont know what to say. Its working very well 🔥
Thanks a lot, man. Finally, I know how to set up world time. Casio does not explain T2-T4 setting in the accompanied printed manual at all. That's weird.
I have had Twin Graph AE 21W since 1989 and I am still looking for this model. I hope Casio will develop these Twin Graph watches again in the coming years I am a fan!
Thanks man i got the watch this morning was struggling with the toggle buttons 👍👍 gr8 help and i have been wanting this watch past 3 years got The g shocks edifice, but this was always in my wishlist today i got it the best All say long 24/7 watch. USP- 10 YEARS OF BATTERY
I have 2 versions of this watch. With this latest version it looks like Casio finally got the screen distribution right. Everything seems properly balanced.
@@user-pi6vz5hr3c you know Casio make great watches. I know they're not Rolexes or Omegas but even the so called "entry level watches" sub £500. I just got a Casioak..... I love it as much as my more expensive and so called better watches..
The AE-1200WH is amazing. I wish they released the same watch (exact same functionality, exact same looks) but a better shock resistance. I would the price of a ghock if they released an updated version of this in 2022.
Just received my new watch exactly the same as yours in the video. Fantastic setting guide and even some tricks I am not aware of. Noticed you had stopped posting 2 years ago.
I had the all silver but the metal bracelet was either too big or too small, then came the sweaty days 😟. I had the all black, but was too similar to my others. The I discovered the 1C and got the best of both worlds. Even though the strap is either to big or too small, the watch is so light that I don't notice it.
Great video. Now I know how to set my Casio Royale! And it is such a fun watch for very little $ - I wore it to see the new NTTD James Bond movie yesterday and the young man selling tickets complimented me on my James Bond watch :)
Good review. My brother gave me his AE1200WHD this evening, but I couldn't get it to toggle out of DTC OFF (seeing as we're currently now on DST). Following another YT guide, I adjusted the home city from UTC to LON, and lo and behold, it allowed me to toggle the DST feature to DST ON. Happy days! :)
Helpful! Hitting the forwards arrow until the MUTE appeared at the top of the screen at 6:10 allowed me to figure out how to unmute my casio illuminator watch... by holding the bottom left button for 2 seconds. Thank you!
i own this watch for almost 5 years now but stopped wear it because the strap was broken. then bought a wear-os smartwatch that only lasting for 1 year+ and its died right after the warranty end. now im back using this wacth for almost a week and i much love it tbh. so much simple and usefull

You need to enter alarm mode, then cycle through all 5 alarms until you reach one that says ":00" in the middle of the lower screen, then use the adjust button to toggle hourly chime ("SIG") on or off.
Hi, good video. I want to buy a digital watch that shows the time in two time-zones at the same time, does this watch do this? Even if it does, are there are any other watches that do the same thing? Thanks in advance.
Great video! How do you change the duration of the light from 1 second to 3 seconds? The manual doesn't explain it and I've played around with the buttons but can't seem to get it to go to the 3 second duration.
I recently ordered the black resin version with a green map. Can't wait! 😊 P. S. I wonder if the later releases of this model have more functions, (for ex. snooze alarm) or are just the same as the 2012 original. P. P. S. Yeah, I watched some videos about a copycat of this watch by Skmei, boo Skmei!😅
