I always enjoyed my own company and always felt that I was doing something wrong as everyone my age were constantly socialising etc. I definitely think that the balance is so impt as well! Also- not everyone deserves to see your vulnerability. Couldn’t have been better said. Something so many of us sadly learn the hard way. Thank you for the transparency 💕

What you were describing is called Avoidant Personality Disorder. I suffer from it too. I can go up to a perfect stranger a strike up a conversation, I'm not insecure and I would describe myself as very confident BUT I just chose not to let people in. Its a very hard thing to change about yourself and I'm glad you are speaking on this because many people don't understand that you can be outgoing and a social butterfly yet you don't trust people enough to show them who you truly are.
I regret being out of shape, I dind't work out at all! I regret not saving $$$! But I did cut out a lot of people out of my life, started to be more private, and that's the best thing ever!
