A quick 30 second chat with that guy at the end was enough to convince him. A 22 minute chat with the other "I'm too lazy" guy still wasn't sufficient. If your heart is in the right place, and you care enough, then laziness doesn't come into the equation at all.

The first guy will eventually go vegan. I had the same mentality as him for the longest time.
It got to the point where I'd reflect on how an animal had to suffer whenever I bought food/groceries. Though I still felt too 'lazy' to make a change. The thought of having to learn new recipes, having to explain to my friends why I can't eat specific meals at restaurants, etc., having to explain to the family that I can't eat the traditional food we usually eat, the fear of not being able to maintain gym gains due to a reduction in protein intake; these thoughts always stopped me from taking the leap.
Eventually, I just gave it a crack and within roughly 4 weeks I learned a few meals that I liked and I realised I could live comfortably on those meals. Along the way, I've discovered seitan is incredibly diverse in what meals you can add it to and it tastes like real meat if made correctly, not to mention the high amount of protein it provides. I also realised there are some great alternatives to burger paddies and schnitzels for the occasional cheat meals.
Been vegan for over 2 years now. It is super easy once you know what to look for in shops and at restaurants etc.

I personally don’t view cattle/chicken/pigs etc as having the same value as human life. You can give me all the reasons why you believe it’s the same, but we just won’t see eye to eye and that’s ok. I enjoy eating meat, do I try and get vegans to eat meat? No, I just personally enjoy meat and there are some vegan alternatives that I’ve had and enjoyed but I’ll never full swap them for meat and dairy because they just aren’t the same. Maybe you’ll think I’m an awful person or ethically cruel but that’s fine cause personally through my perspective I don’t view it the same. Also if I go to store and decide not to grab the steak off the shelves, it’s already been killed and if I don’t grab it someone else will. I just think there are many people like me who just will not view those animals lives the same as humans no matter what argument you try to make and I’m not trying to change ur mind or bash you for being vegan, but I don’t think much will change honestly cause the 2 thought processes are just miles apart.

People who refuse to acknowledge the blatant fact that animals have as much right to their lives as us humans. Countless times video Evidence shows when an animal a cow for example are in a slaughter house and know that their fellow has been savagely slaughtered in front of them they are in a state of total terror doing everything to resist the murderer in front of them. Only a pure fool could say that they are unaware of what is happening to them. After watching a few videos of slaughter house footage of cows being butchered and seeing pigs being gassed to death. I decided that I could no longer be party to such misery. I didn't touch meat again or any animal products. Thanks for your ceaseless efforts in trying to reach the hearts and minds of the British people Joey. And I am blessed to have come across your channel your winning mate you really are.

Lol I thought the opposite, this was incredibly frustrating to me because of how many pathetic conversations I've had that run that exact course:
"You're right. Paying for animal abuse is a bad thing to do, even if it's for my taste pleasure. But I don't really care. Let's keep suffocating the pigs, slicing the chickens' heads off and raping the cows for some tasty meals and some extra health problems."
Makes me think there's gonna have to be as much activism targeting the supply side as the demand side.

Neither the oldest man in the world juan vincente perez or the oldest woman, kane takana were vegan or even vegetarian.
Heres a list of cattle and milk biproducts. Tell me another plant that is so versatile. I'll wait.
Candles, cellophane, ceramics, cosmetics, crayons, perfumes, paints, linoleum, mouthwash, detergents, synthetic rubber, floor wax, toothpaste, paper, shoe cream, shaving cream, soaps, pet food, deoderant, insecticides, insulation plastics, photographic film, paint brushes, bandages, wallpaper, emery boards, glues, sheet rock, sporting goods, luggage, boots and shoes, clothing, gloves, belts, purses, wallets.
Insulin, chymotrupsin (promotes healing of burns and wounds), pancreatin, glucagon (treats hypoglycaemia and low blood sugar),,heparin (anti coagulant), liver extract (treats anemia) vitamin b12, bone marrow (treats blood disorders), soft cartilage (plastic surgery), bone meal (calcium and phosphorous), prolactin (promotes lactation), pressor hormone (regulates blood pressure), vasopressin (used for renal patients), ACTH (treatment of arthritis and allergies), blood factors (treatment of haemophilia, viruses, and making anti rejection drugs), iron, thrombin.
Tyres, antifreeze, asphalt, adhesives (for motor industry), numerous lubricants and fluids, steel ball bearings (contain bone charcoal).
Then there are the hundreds of dairy products which i wont bother listing.
This is why you vegan nitwits will never stop meat and dairy production. Because you depend on it ever single day.
You can't eat your way out of being the reason animals go to slaughter. That's not how agriculture, nature, or life works.
Just because you don't patron the meat aisle doesn't mean you do not utterly depend on livestock as much as the people who do. It just means you don't know how the system works, and the scammers who preach veganism are counting on that.

Its because our bodies know the meat is packed with nutrition. That's why we turn a blind eye to the cruelty. The argument doesn't come to mind because society tells us it's unhealthy but the body knows better. It's our evolutionary food, every animal is edible to a Human.

They all need to be converted and that can lead to issuess in some. There is nothing to say that any person will be able to convert all of these nutrients which is why do many run into health issues in veganism.
Herbivores have distinctly different bodies to Humans. Their large guts are specialised for making the most out of their low quality diet. They have a Cecum that ferments the plant matter into something more useful to the animal which is why a lot of them eat their own poop. We once had a Cecum too but nowadays it's called the appendix.

Honestly i've been thinking about activism and i think the best way so far to do it is to pretend you believe the extreme opposite of what you do.
For example, instead of debating people about the theme "Animal lives matter", perhaps you could put the theme "Animal lives dont matter". And then while arguing, you put on extreme propositions such as, torturing a trillion animal lives with the goal of saving a single human fetous is worth it. People are gonna get so disgusted by your opinions that they'll try their hardest to go to the other extreme on their points, ending up going torwards veganism. You could also mock them " you look like those vegan freaks with what youre saying ". I think for this to work, you cant end telling them the truth and just go all the way with your acting
