There is no place in the Bible that says the earth is spinning and shooting through space. The Bible says in many places that the earth moves not. The sun and moon stood still in Joshua, people think the earth just shot off without the sun and the moon. God is not the author of confusion the Babylonian system is confusion, all the world wondered after the beast. Ellen White was a friend to Alexander Gleason who made the first Adventist church in New York, he also made the flat earth map, “as it is”, and wrote the book, “ Is the Bible from Heaven, Is the Earth a Globe”? There are also books of maps from the early nineteenth century hundreds that show Antarctica as an ice wall the surrounds the flat earth.

Genesis and God tell the truth, no matter what your earthly worldview says about it. You believe people who worshipped a sun-"god' Hermes. Look up Copernicus. You are wrong on many levels. You are more caught up with earthly opinions about your view on earth than about what God thinks about you and tells you in the Bible. You speak and put out what others have chewed for you, and do not see that there are indeed consipracies in this earth. You are decieved by your enemies. So, if you claim to take the Bible as truth, then please do so, and believe what God has told you in Genesis, and do not close you eyes because you care so much what other people think about you. Jesus Christ is the only truth and his Father in heaven has told us that he divided the waters which are above from the water which are below. This is true and the scripture is unchangable, open for every one to see. The way you speak reminds me of decievers of the modern times, with the likes of "how is this even a discussion", "they believe in conspiracy theories". Do you really care so much what atheists think about you? The truth is in scripture, and it tells us what to believe. You believe what inhabitants of this earth have invented; a theroy maskes as "science". So your way of thinking is really weak and not at all free and critical. This is sad, but I pray that God may open thine heart to the truth of creation. The immovable earth, the center of creation. No matter what "history" lessons you throw at us. The truth shall always prosper, and when we die, God will tell us the truth, which he already told us before in scripture. Doesnt the bible say God sits on the circle of the earth and ppl look like grasshoppers? ( am paraphrasing). The sun is round and so is the moon. If the earth were flat wouldnt everyone have daylight at the same time? How do u explain the rotation of a flat earth and its gravitational effects as per a round moon and sky? @@hyawilliams9327 A circle is also flat. The sun and the moon are inside of the firmament as stated in the bible. The sun and the moon move inside of the firmament, like unto a glass dekorative snowball. When the sun is on one side, it's light does not reach to the other side.

You should seek those out. Basically flatter earthers don’t have all the answers, but ask great questions like you did & and seek them out in scripture.
The late Michael Heiser was an ancient language expert and Bible scholar and he disagrees with you. The Bible clearly describes the earthly realm. You can take the scriptures literally or you can impose your own beliefs on the text and say it’s all allegory.
Or... they can simply lie about it, pretending they actually believe what they are saying while secretly knowing the truth. The enemies of God generally wear a mask and have snuck in among us unawares. Look a lot like the book of revelation here, ey? Why do you think that is?

He's being half honest all early Christians believed in both but all were geocentric.
The ancient Hebrews who wrote the scriptures had a alternative view on cosmology they did not believe in the helocentric theory. Google it.
People are just going have to get used to the fact that there is a different and alternative science when it come to cosmology.

There is a problem here. As children we WERE taught that the old world believed that the earth was flat & that sailing too far a
Vessel would fall off and we WERE taught that Galileo was persecuted for saying that the earth was round.

Galileo was persecuted for saying the sun was at the center of the universe (instead of the earth). A position called "heliocentrism." He was not persecuted for saying the earth was round because everybody knew the earth was round and there was no need for him to argue that point.

These were misconceptions that people were taught, both the old claim that most people generally believed you could sail off the earth, and the claim that Galileo claimed that the earth was round (instead of being part of a class of people who claimed that the earth in our galaxy revolves around the sun, such as Copernicus, Ptolemy, Kepler, Brahe, and opposite people like Aristotle, specifically), and that Galileo actually said that the motion of the tides prove that the galaxy was heliocentric, and that he discovered sunspots.

I’m saying that as children in the 60’s & 70’s we were taught that Christopher Columbus & his contemporaries did think that the earth was flat and that one could sail so far as to fall off if it and that Galileo WAS persecuted and threatened by the Inquisition for saying that the earth was round as Foxx’s Book of Martyrs confirms.

This was corrected around the 1980’s in textbooks.
This is not a Mandela Effect, you’re probably not wrong that you were taught it, but the textbooks were incorrect when they taught you that. The people mentioned in the video were rewriting history.

By the looks of it, the heliocentric system was just another wheel on the counter-reformation movement. The reformers, just like all christians before them, believed in the geocentric, biblical model.

If the earth was flat, wouldn't we have sun 24/7. The fact that Australia is having day and we are having night at the same time proves that the earth is round. The fact that we have sun rises and sun sets proves the earth to be round. SMH...

Only spheres can generate the type of shadow that is form on the moon when the earth is between the sun and moon. It can't be created by a disk... it is a conical section... either an ellipse, hyperbola I forget the 3rd. but, the point is that it requires two spheres for the shape of the shadow that is cast on the moon. it is not a arc. simple geometry solves the problem...

Flerfs regard the sun and the moon as nothing more than lights in the sky, about 3,000 miles up, beyond the “impenetrable dome”. They reason that since we can’t go beyond that dome, knowing the shape of the sun doesn’t matter. Any evidence to the contrary is dismissed as part of the “conspiracy”.

No, that is a logical fallacy, particularly if you are informing your reasoning through the assertions of Scripture. There is nothing whatsoever that suggests that the celestial bodies follow the same form or substance as the Earth. The firmament is a solid covering that holds back water. The earth is set on pillars. Its size cannot be measured. Sheol is under the earth. The sun and moon stopped in the sky for a day. The stars will all fall to earth in the end time. There are many other verses that make a spherical earth very unlikely.

The Bible describes Earth as flat, stationary and enclosed which matches natural law and observable reality.
Earth is measured and navigated flat as an elevation angle measurement requires a horizontal plane of reference.
There is no evidence of Earths rotation as there is no observable Earth based Coriolis effect. Gas pressure requires containment as per natural law of entropy.

When we look up at the sky, every object we see--planets, stars--looks like a circle. That's because they are spheres (spheroids) being viewed from a distance--the only other alternative would be that they are flat circles perfectly positioned to point at earth. So if every object in the sky is a spheroid, it stands to reason that earth is one too. This combined with the fact that ships disappear/reappear on the horizon leads me to believe that nearly everyone has always known the world was round--except for the Flat Earthers in the present day.
Assuming the Earth must be a ball because the celestial bodies appear spherical is a logical fallacy. The fact is that every single ancient civilization depicted the Earth as flat and enclosed. The Sumerians are a notable exception, and they testify that they got their information from the Annunaki (fallen angels). Ships disappear over the horizon because of perspective - all objects converge to a single point at the horizon. It's a phenomenon wholly unrelated to the shape of the Earth.

@@hyawilliams9327 It's not difficult. Look into how a point light works. You're assuming that light travels forever. This is not what we observe in reality. Light has a limited reach. Rob Skiba is a guy who did a lot of 3D renderings. He did a model with a point light above the Earth that shows this. If you go to his RUclips channel and search for 'day and night take 2' you'll find it. And the reason we cannot see the Sun all the time (aside from atmospheric conditions) is due to the reach limitations of optical instruments (like your eye). At the limits of reach, all things collapse to the horizon and disappear. This is a highly testable and well accepted phenomenon - it's perspective. Peace!

I like your words on conspiracy theories. To me they apply to people within our own church. When a person who lives thinking the government is out to get them comes to a prophecy seminar like the ones you speak in, if that person is unconverted, then "government's out to get you" becomes "the Pope's out to get you".
And the dead giveaway for a nutbar within our church is when a side issue gets brought to the front, leading to an in-house only evangelism. Instead of trying to reach new people for Christ, the focus becomes on whether or not to keep Christmas, the festival days, anti-Trinitarian views etc. Flat-earthers would then be in this category.

Lava comes up and the thermal features around Yellowstone are heated by that lava that is below the surface. Guess you are not aware of one of the biggest volcanoes makes it's home under Yellowstone. No game the world IS NOT FLAT except in stories of old and ships falling off the edge.
