@rajendra To render 2D use ortho camera, Put the camera on Top view and change the Type to orthographic.

Just a question: when enabling Archipack, then clicking Add > Mesh > Archipack > Window, I get an empty frame, but no window to select, just a black rectangle...
When and how did you add more edges on the walls?
I import file but it's not showing here but it's imported here that I can see on right side but not showing I tried by rotating the mous but not showing anywhere in the page
This is so nice. Please advise which AutoCad flavor did you use? there are plenty of them. i.e. AutoCad Architect, Civil 3D, Electrical, Map 3D, Mechanical, MEP, P&ID, Plant 3D, Utility Design or LT?? Please advise. This was awesome.

non puo essere questa la strada per progettare un'abitazione, in questo caso bisogna sapere prima tutte le misure, ma se volessimo fare delle modifiche non sono cosi veloci, spesso si spostano anche di poco porte e finestre, ma in questo caso non basta solo spostare le porte o le finestre, ma bisogna rimodellare i buchi dove erano in precedenza, non va bene.

When I import the dxf to my blender I can't find it in my view port hv looked everywhere am using version 2.9 so if you can help me that would be great
If it’s imported you can find it in the layer section, just select it there and hit comma . in the numberbad to zoom in selection

if I touch once the window object after importing from the archpack, I lose all the arrows to adjust measures then I can't get them back. I also can't find the settings on the side (at 16:28)
You just need to select the archi-pack object( the window's frame) and you should find the settings on the N panel, hit Manipulate to get the arrows back, I don't know what versions you operating on so you might need to check the add-on settings( in the preferences) to see where it's located but it's usually on the side panel as shown.

idk why but i dont have the settings to modify the doors and windows neither with the scaling nor the details :(
Press N and open the archipack window on the right, then hit manipulate to show the scale and dimensions on each archipack asset.

sir another problem my glass is not transparent at all. It looks like completely mirror using same eevee glass. Sir please help!!!
We used the eevee glass shader in this tutorial, so you just need to check the transparency value.
You can also mix a glass node with a transparent one and use light path in the info.

I swear I use E to extrude, but I have to grab it to make it work, and it often falls down in Z axis
You can use the Z, X, Y key to select which axis to follow after u prressed E.

But here this guy just clicks on the point and the wall automatically expands to that point
@@franktenpenny1992 he doesn't. He selects the verts and the use the shortcut key E to extrude, most likely. He might have forgotten to include that part, I'm not sure. Or he select the extrusion tool on the left field in the viewport.
How did you make the plan visible in minute 2:30 I don’t get it😅
If you want to find something in the viewport, select it from the layers and hit the . key near the numbad 0 to zoom in on it, that's what we did here since the plan is out of scale and it's too small when we imported it.
windows and doors are not there in my blender how to add pls help me
Go to the addon settings and in the archpack addon there's something called Render Thumbs press it and just wait a minute until it loaded.

I still could not see the autocad file
you start by importing a floor plan made by another program. Isn't it possible to start from your own 2D floor plan drawn in Blender?
Is it possible to do your 2d drawings in blender? sure why not, but is it practical, No. Blender don't have 2d drawings system for architecture drawings where you get commands like Line, poly line, fillet, offset..etc, So you need a 2d program like Autocad or Revit to make the the plans first, then you import them to any 3D modeling program.

You need to go into the addon settings in the preferences and Hit Render Thumbs.
when I save as an SVG file and then import it into blender it does not show up. what am i doing wrong.
check the layer section on the right, if the file show up there just select it and hit the numbad . key to focus on selection.
If it's not there you either export it wrong or might be using old blender version.
@@architecturetopics thank you. I think my problem was with what I was doing in Inkscape. I was never getting a "preview" in the lower right. That showed up, now it seems to be coming up in Blender now.
Didn't get it @ 34:24. Is that model built-in inside the blender, or you imported it?

@@Mohit_S92 Well, there's an addon called Dynamic sky inside blender you can use it. there's also an addon called Scene sky which you can download.

Moreover you can use a light path node with a color mix to fix the ceiling lights.

Which map you referring to, if you mean the floor drawing it’s done with Autocad. Will try to make a tutorial on that soon.

Great tutorial, but the computer generated voice is annoying.
Don't care if it's good or bad. The text to speech voice is a big no. Microphones are cheap these day get one !
