Amazing video, it's quite difficult to follow when you are not familiar with the keys required, but following the left corner allowed me to understand the clicks you are doing.... appreciate your effort, thanks.
honestly yeah same cause i am stil a little confused how he do the copy and past thing when he is skiping over like the doors and such so i just use new plane for each one which i have to go back and put in the correct measurment and such.
im a complete novice and this vid helped. im glad we can see the mouse and keyboard input on the side, as i looked at those when i was getting confused on how to navigate the software. i rly hope u will upload another part going from where this one left off, as the rendering and texturing part is not rly working for me T_T thnx for uploading!
@@srshihab9738 Im the same boat. The add-on menu also looks totally different from this one. I got it by just installing it directly from the blender extensions website
This way you don't have all walls with the same thickness right ? because it depends on how you have extruded the vertices on the steps before which you'll necer do that precisely
le probleme ces que moi jsais si sais possible mais par exemple si on veut importer la maison sur ue5 comment on pourrait faire pour le system d'ouverture de porte ???
I like your videos sadly i follow each step and my model after exsporting to obj or stl into cura has problems..... No floor, missing wall areas etc etc. Starting with a floor might be best, say a slightly larger floor and then build the plan on top of that as my floors keep having holes and it looks fine in blender but cura is a wave of red and warnings :( Hope your do an as simple as it gets update to this with a floor included.
Great tutorial, thank you. It looks a bit time consuming, as I am a novice in Blender, I have not tried 2D-floorplan to 3D modelling but I have seen some addons like archimesh or similar, they seem to be faster workflow. How do you compare this method and its benefits over working fully with addons?
I will try to edit that soon. You can check the latest interior animation tutorial we made, it is 90% the same process ruclips.net/video/IgmwZlFi2ZM/видео.htmlsi=i3gJP63kfluo-NnW
when I extrude on one of the 2 vertices, it doesn't extrude as normal but only extrudes lines from the 2 vertices instead of the edge as normal.. what did I do wrong?
Blender is always got problem with metric system, make it hard for pc user. Tab user which can rely on their drawing skills still not really accurate either.
So the cursor, the second tool on the left bar, which is a point in 3D space used to identify where new object will be added along with other things. We placed it on the corner as shown while having a plane as a ruler with a specific length, then we switched the transformation to cursor, this means any object in the scene, including the floor plan image we have, will transform( move - rotate - scale ) with the cursor as a center. We did this to fix the plan image scale before we start drawing based on universal norms. Hope this helps mate! do ask if anything is not clear.
If you're on blender 4.2, go to the new tab called extensions above the add-ons and search for it, then hit install. it's all inside blender, they just placed the add-ons we usually get with blender in one site so you can get the ones you need without the extra loads.
Thank you so much man seriously this can help alot not in just modeling floor plans but also in modeling in general, thanks alot.
Glad I could help!

Sweet. Thank you.
glad it helped!
thank you for teaching us.
My pleasure
Thank you for the good video. It's easy to follow. waiting for next one with interior designs.
Glad it helped!
Big Thanks to big Brother You made emazing video that we enjoy to consume .
Glad it helped!
I am having an issue when ever i try to extrude on the Z axis. It doesn't make new walls, just to tops and bottoms of the plane.
Fantastic, appreciate you! 🙏🫶👏
thanks mate!
I want problems always! it rocks!
Very helpful, thank you for this tutorial.

why didn't he use loop cut instead of bisect tool 14:01 ? does it make any difference ?
excellent sharing
Thank you!
Great! And how about the animation of the house in min 0:07. That's exactly what I need to do.
Thanks, will cover that in the next part.
you can try animating boolean key frames/ build modifier to get a nice result.

Glad you enjoyed it
using a dxf is much easier if the dxf file is clean. walls can be made in a couple of clicks.
True, with a clean and simplified drawing you can extrude walls with 2 clicks.
@@architecturetopics I teach this method to my students :)
Do you have a course for blender? Id buy it immediately.
Thanks mate! I don't have a paid course yet since Free is Always Better, but might do one soon, gotta bye that new Audi e-tron GT 😏

Nice video thank you
Welcome 😊
How come you are able to use Z axis on a Plane?
So you have to have a plan? Cant just have the outer shape and add walls accordingly?
Where can i download this ? I am using autocad having this 3d blender woul be a great help
I think Revit or other Bim softwares would be better for a cad user
great video. Is there another better free addon for architecture than archimesh?
archipack i think is more rich with elements, drawing system, walls, etc but it's paid now.
Awesome when the next part will uploaded?😍

Same
If you're talking about Archimesh it's shipped with blender so just enable it like shown, I have it on with my 3.6 and 4.1 versions.
@@architecturetopics for 4.2 I had to go "Get Extentions" and install it there first
How can you create those free 2d floor plans?
good video
thanks!

Well, that was rude
🙃
Let’s continue,
Excellent, but...The toilet door on the ground floor is slider, not like the others
True, you can explore the different type of door and windows in archimesh, might take some time but should be fun.
Couldn't find any image online the same as my own design.
i cannot select A to All

in my blender i dont have archimesh
more archviz

I dont think the modeling would align well with the measurements!
