a little bit off topic, i just want to mention that i am a older guy looking for mid-career switch and therefore something to learn in my free time and hopefully eventually be good enough to switch careers. so i want to thank you for this video. it is exactly what i wanted. i want to design houses via blender. i hope your video gets the recognition it deserves soon by getting tons of views and new subs! 😊
Came across this video by RUclips's recommendations and this is so amazing, you made the whole thing easy and your approach is even better. I subscribed with post notification on, your contents are really amusing ❤

Hey do you now what fivem is if so could you teach me how to make a house for it I'm wanting to start my own house making but don't really know how-to use blender.
@@RG3DAnimationstudio Thank you for reply😄, I mean there're two vertexes at the upper left vertex of the first floor slab. I just want to show this problem I don't know why there're two vertexes. There's just one vertex in your video
Hello! Upon extruding the walls to 2.8m height, the model is WAY too tall - leading me to believe the area size of the wall outlines are not correct. Why did we not establish the correct size before extruding and how can I fix this? Thanks!
The lines in the dxf file are in the correct scale, try downloading the dxf file from the description and try again. Also make sure you did not change blender units.
Hi, I am having trouble ‘exporting’ a Nanocad file so that I can use it in blender; can you please give me any tips of how to do it please? Also I am locked into ‘zoom’ at the base point in blender and when I add extra walls etc, I can only zoom out to find the end of it; can you help with that one too please? TIA
Make sure when you sace your NanoCad File it is selected as a DXF file and not another format. Should be a dropdown menu right below where it asks you what you want to save your file as.
Your link to the floor plan won't even let me download the floor plan much less add it to a cart. just says I want this and nothing happens when you click on it. What gives??
Make sure the shape is fully closed by removing duplicate vertices - select all vertices in edit mode - right click and select merge vertices - and try Alt +F again

Hey do you now what fivem is if so could you teach me how to make a house for it I'm wanting to start my own house making but don't really know how-to use blender.
i can't see the floors. And please how do i get the headlines of the house on my nanocad
amazing stuff this is the final stuff that i actually needed great stuff. Can i use this house project to include in my workflow for example?
Thanks for the tutorial.
Could you help me.
It doesn't let me see the dxf file with the perspective view.
Thanks in advance.
You have to fix the dxf file.
The upper left vertex of the first floor slab is not connected.
That is why in the video I merge all vertices to make sure all are connected, best of luck

Very helpful video
May you please make more videos on character animation further after this series
Love from India 🇮🇳🇮🇳
Thanks so much, Hopefully soon :)
My DXF file is not showing up in the addons. How can i fix it ?
It should appear when you search for dxf in the addons tab
For v4.2+, you must search in Extensions.
I can't find the option to add dfx
You have to add the addon in blender

Try Alt+F4

I am not an architecture student, is this for me too?
no.
Ya,why not
I'm also not an architecture but I need a 3d model of a modern house for My Unity Game.
A bit confusing
Evidence that 3d software engineers are smart idiots is the way they design pivot manipulation when they wrote it. They should all just copy Maya UI
