I saw NOFX a few weeks ago. I was able to have a moment with Mike and I told him how much the music has meant to me over the last three decades. I think he appreciated it, it was the only time he was serious and not joking around. I love this band with all my heart.
Blink 182's version will probably have some bass chords in the first verse, vocal harmonies when he says "the house was on fire," probably some 'da da dah's,' or "na na na,' during the bridge. Some kind of 5th/octave lead part in the outro

Went to punk in drublic in Massachusetts Smelly was walking by at the end of the show - we asked him about the band breaking up. He told us they weren't breaking up they were just putting tours on hold to focus on a new album. Got a pic with him was a great night.

I was looking forward to Blink being I do actually listen to quite a few of the artists that have done lyrical lemonade videos. Unfortunately Blink is the worst to have been shot by Cole Bennett. I do not like the new Blink 182 song at all. TOM coulda stayed gone if this is how he came back. I started with Nofx so long and thanks before Blink entered my world. This band has stayed much more consistent.

I am a musician and a songwriter, and from my point of view and opinion, the new Blink is quite artificial, even to be a shameless commercial product, it does not have the "soul" and "heart" that made me fall in love in the distant 2000 year, when I was a 7 year old brat. It's all about marketing, Tom has been saying for years (since AVA) that his new album will be "the best", and it seems that people forget easily. Don't get me wrong, there is no lyrical, musical, artistic effort, nothing! The production is so clean and "perfect" that it sounds incredibly fake. I hope the whole album improves, from the bottom of my heart. But Blink, wanting to please everyone, adapted to the new times, the question is... How much time do they have left? how much credibility?

Man, I love Blink, but I love the truth more, I remember when they released the first single from California in 2016 I was super disappointed inside but I tried to convince myself that it was great, when they released the other singles and the whole album I couldn't even lie to myself anymore, Nine was just one big vomit for me, that's not Blink. I really like AK3, it's the ideal puzzle from Skiba, which itself was a forced and counterproductive piece in the puzzle called Blink. Edging really disappointed me as Tom is back, I was expecting a BIG comeback and not saving the 'best' for later, all or nothing man!
