Best Naked you CANT buy and would take my money in a heartbeat would be a Yamaha XSR1000. With the looks of the XSR and the CP4 engine would be a goddamn masterpiece. So Yamaha if your listening....pull the trigger!

I agree but i think they should retain it as a triple but increase it to a 1000 ! i had a 60th Aniversary XSR 9 and it would wheelie all day long - inline fours can be a little bland but a triple.... they sound sooo good.

@@chriskarn4718 Yeah that would be killer!! But although the CP4 R1 derived engine is a solid engine with the unusual firing order, they sound mean and have some decent torque. And I’m sure they can squeeze more out for low end. But yeah I love the way the XSR looks.

I love em both honestly and would consider either of them if I wasn’t dead set on a zx10r. I think a lot of folks are missing the point fussing over 10whp or 10lbs wet weight over some of the competitors. Either of these bikes would be bad ass naked sporty bikes for the street, more than competent enough to burn basically everything you pull up next to if you are too. And can be great in the twisties. I think people also are too caught up on gizmos, as a rider to me less is more. I don’t need 15 menus to play with I need basic info. Honestly at this power level I don’t really need any aids either. Theyre both right in the 1000cc street bike sweet spot. Lastly, somehow the gsxs is still getting flack for looks. I think it looks great. Especially compared to the dead whale carcass face it had before

Picked a black edition up today. On the road a great handling bike. I had a 16 gsxs that was great too. I then got a 20 tuono factory. It was pretty poor on the potholed gravel ridden roads. Big price with all the bling doesn't necessarily make a good road bike. Before anyone dives in I know the tuono would blow them away on track. In the real world both bikes are just as quick a to b.

Few things missing here...comfort and details. There are many reviews that universally state the comfort and spaciousness of GsxS and crampiness on CB. Details wise, simpe seat connection to the tank shows a super plush connected look on GSX and a nassive gap on CB. Great torque curve and flexible engine GSX has beats revy CB. Some reviews, although of the previous lower powere CB also show that even Z900RS or definitely Katana leave CB in a dust in the twisties...add an alost 3K difference in the US...GSX is simply a better choice, especially if you are 6 feet and up. The Honda is much prettier but not worth the extra money to me personally as it doesn't really excite me whereas the Suzuki seems like a bit of a cheap & cheerful headbanger. For their intended purposes, basically a wash that'll be determined by one's design preferences and wallet. A track day on either is highly unlikely, and they both have greater performance envelopes than can be used on the road (responsibly). For weekend, sporting rides, either will easily do the trick (but with better pillion seats?). The '22 Suzuki comes in two other colorways - matte grey/black and all-black - that come off MUCH better than this one.

Not much of a comparison! Using old press releases of bikes then comparing them at later date is not an accurate comparison. It's cost cutting, a bit like the way Suzuki building their motorcycles haha! To give readers a true comparison, have two test riders take both brands out for an extended tour, swap rides and then compare the pros and cons of each bike. If you need some inspiration check out the way MCN do their in-depth comparisons eg their combined test of the Suzuki GSX-S1000GT vs Kawasaki's Ninja 1000SX.

Appreciate these “comparisons” you guys been doing but they are really misleading. Is comparing 2 bikes mainly from recollection and stat sheets really fair to call them direct comparisons? As anyone who has ridden two bikes back to back, side by side will tell you, other things take shape that memory just can’t account for so much. I think you should really call these something other than “comparison” videos unless you have both bikes sitting there in front of you. Just my two cents.

Suzuki bang for the buck Honda’s are in a class of their own but the industry needs more affordable bikes to get the sport alive period Europe and the US are in a Great Recession

This should of been done with the Katana not the Gsxs. Is the Honda 2k better than the suzuki? No way. This is your personal opinion aswell. My brother had the "uber" cool black edition and chopped it in for a gsxs, said the suzuki is 100% better than the Honda.

Suzuki have fine tuned the gsxs to make it better to ride and at the same time ruined the styling imo

You're right of course. Looks are subjective...
One of them looks very good. The other, does not.
But we all know that where Kawa do a good(ish) job looking all Transformer-franchise-esque, the Suzi looks like a cheap knock-off Transformer.

What good is a great bike WHEN THE FRONT END DIVES !!! shame on Honda. Just rode it and loved all of it except the neanderthal front end, this bike is trying to kill you 100% of the time with it, if you forget about the massive pull on the handle bar after you turn it a few degrees you will crash into something or just as bad go over your handle bars, this bike will kill some people, front end falls off the table. PLEASE, tell me, that the Suzuki don't have this problem. And also tell us viewers why you didn't even mention this problem in your review which I consider a huge miss on your part and largely irresponsible. How is Honda going to fix the problem if you hide it for them?
