Im sorry to hear that. Yes, I agree that most dispatchers dont care- they are just looking to make that % of the load and go home, which is why they have such a bad reputation.
And this is why we are Looked down on. As a Freight Dispatcher, I go to BAT For my drivers,Im on point with EVERYTHING. Anyone who knows me knows I dont play about my Drivers.
Actually calling the shipper or receiver may cause a trouble if you book a load with TQL. So, better not to risk it with them. And thank you for your hard work and videos!I love it and wish I found you much earliyer :))
I'm starting a dispatching service, I want to be the best dispatch with the best reputation so I have to care because word of mouth will get my name out there better than anything I will care and I will be honest and transparent thank you for the video 🤗
And the most infamous lie…..” Driver: “I need a load going home!” Dispatcher: “I’m sorry we don’t have any loads going there!” Driver: “ but I haven’t told you who I am yet or where I live!” Dispatcher: “ it doesn’t matter where you live, we don’t have a load going there BUT if you take this load I have I can get you one from there going home 😁😉!” ( LIE)
A dispatcher sitting in another state telling me to haul ass to the next reload. Not understanding, it’s Friday afternoon in Denver & traffic going west for the weekend is going to be heavy, & it’s snowing on the passes. Longest I’ve waited to load, was 32 hours at Americold Storage in Richland Washington. I left a Google review 😉
I have my own two trucking companies and am currently dispatching one outside carrier. At the moment, I do not offer dispatch services anymore but I might in the future!
Can you put on a mandatory dispatcher clinic ever place I worked for the driver is blamed for anything I mean no count ability so I’m done with trucking for good always being ripped off good luck on changing a very self center industry
so if a carrier has bad reputation then dispatcher doesn't have to lie to the drivers to uphold reputation, because there is nothing to uphold. and it looks like brokers live by this
Hi, Miranda - This is Mayra Silva and I am a new dispatcher in the trucking industry. I just had a really bad situation that I will love for you to give me a good advice, if possible. Thank you
Do you have a dispatching company or a trucking company cause I might be in need of a dispatching service to give me some breathing room to focus on adding a couple of owner ops
Are you kidding? Drivers are not important to anyone. We are the least important part of transportation. We are treated like scum by everyone in trucking
Um NO NO NO My dear! I Respect my drivers to the MAX! Because without you all NOTHING Would be moving! PERIOD! I treat My drivers like my Family. Sincerely,A very caring and LOVING Freight Dispatcher.
I don't have these problems. Not many dispatchers do the things you mentioned. I was thinking you would speak on dispatchers saying 1.This the best paying load available when truly they might just have a relationship with that broker or shipper. 2. Some dispatchers paying you less than what the actual load paying.
Everything you are saying you do are the same things I do as an independent Dispatcher and I work just as hard as my carriers so that when they stop to rest, they have nothing to worry about but what to eat and where to lay their heads. It honestly sounds like you are promoting yourself by attacking other people in the same business.... shame on you. Also, people have lives and families outside of work so, to try to make a person sound like a villain because they don't answer their phones 24 hours a day is totally wrong. Maybe what you are saying applies to dispatchers who work for brokers and if that is the case, you need to clarify that message, instead of making it sound like all people in this profession are liars and cheaters. Perhaps you are getting more competition for lucrative loads, so you want to poison the pond after you take a drink!!😉😉
Unfortunately you completely missed the point here. First of all, I only dispatch my own trucks so I am not trying to "steal" any other dispatchers job. Second, the dispatchers I am talking about are mostly the ones that work for huge carriers who clock in and out and thats it. Trust me, I would not have this channel giving so much free information for dispatchers as well as owner operators if I was trying to bring someone down.
@@TruckingMadeSuccessful Thank you for clarifying and I have no problem being wrong. Also, I said nothing about you trying to "steal" another dispatchers job. After reading your response, I listened to the video again and it honestly sounds as if you are bashing dispatchers then turning around telling everyone how professional and thorough you are. There was no distinction made....especially when you see the title of the video.😕 Thank you for distributing free information for dispatchers although, most of what I see are videos addressing the needs of carriers. I'll share them with my new clients as an FYI.
@@feliciamcghee7260 I am pretty awesome, what can I say 🤣 But in all seriousness, yes this channel is mostly for carriers but there are definitely some insights for dispatchers as well, like the load negotiation series, market areas, etc. Thank you for watching 😃
This was 100% accurate. You are highly gifted at teaching. This video inspired me to make some changes. Thanks!
You are amazing Miranda! If only everyone runs a business like you do, everything would be so much better, for everyone! Great job! A+
I absolutely love watching your videos for two reasons: 1) I’m learning so much about the trucking business 2) you are hilarious!
I've been driving for a long time and everything you said is correct!
Good video!
I been driving for 14 years .. I have never had a good dispatch.. Many dispatch don't care, the company reputation..
Nice video
Im sorry to hear that. Yes, I agree that most dispatchers dont care- they are just looking to make that % of the load and go home, which is why they have such a bad reputation.
I am working on dispatch work
If you are interested to give me dispatch I can do for u
And this is why we are Looked down on. As a Freight Dispatcher, I go to BAT For my drivers,Im on point with EVERYTHING. Anyone who knows me knows I dont play about my Drivers.
There are so many wonderful independent dispatchers out there, that’s true. ❤️
You are good at it. Sincerity is the gold here.
"Company psychologist," love it. Adding that title to my business plan. 🙃
You’re fricken awesome. Learning so much from you
I wish all companies ran like yours 👏

Your honesty means so much thanks
Spot on! I want to come work for you. HaHa. Watched several videos now and they are great information and easy to follow for us newbies. Thank you.

Lol, Dead On !!!
I’m so hooked to your videos ❤🥰😍
More, a good truck driver takes time to get!

Oh man, Americold is the WORST. You want to get a restart? Go to ameicold. There’s one crap one in Joliet IL as well
She’s riddddiiiculously CUTE
Thanks, thanks and thanks.
Do you know if dispatcher can modify the rate confirmation? And how?
Awesome 👌
With a Mega, and this is 1000% dead on
Do you dispatch 26ft box trucks?
Lol very good attitude
I am an OTR driver doing western 11. What is the name of your company, location, equipment you run, payment per mile, and benefits? Thank you 😊
I admire your honesty but sorry that I cannot work with you because I live in BC.
What carriers do you dispatch for? Currently searching for a reliable dispatcher.
I have my own two trucking companies and am currently dispatching one outside carrier. At the moment, I do not offer dispatch services anymore but I might in the future!
I am working on dispatch
If you want to give me ur dispatch I can work for u
wow eye opener

My dispatcher never answers. She likes email only easier to tell me what she wants

I have two trucking companies
@@TruckingMadeSuccessful nice I have 1 lol
Good information are you a broker also ?
Nope, I am a carrier
Are you kidding? Drivers are not important to anyone. We are the least important part of transportation. We are treated like scum by everyone in trucking
This is the problem with the industry and this is why we do things differently in our companies. The disrespect of drivers has to stop
Um NO NO NO My dear! I Respect my drivers to the MAX! Because without you all NOTHING Would be moving! PERIOD! I treat My drivers like my Family. Sincerely,A very caring and LOVING Freight Dispatcher.
Im a dispatcher/jack of every trade and married to a truck driver. They are #1 but I don’t tolerate belittling or talking to me like a moron.
Why do you have 2 trucking companies 😮?
Good luck not booking loads in advance in bad market…
Hi, where is your company info? I'm looking a great reliable company to dispatch my truck. I have 2 trucks with driver.
Hi there. I own two carrier companies- at this time I do not dispatch outside carriers, only my own fleet.

I was thinking you would speak on dispatchers saying 1.This the best paying load available when truly they might just have a relationship with that broker or shipper. 2. I think those are more unethical carrier behaviors rather than dispatchers.
@@TruckingMadeSuccessful ok thanks maybe that can be your next video
I believe the secretary of transportation should be required to speak in that evil voice.
Can I get an application I want to come work with you
Thanks for your interest! At this time we are not hiring but if we do, will make an announcement on my channel!
Can I hire you to get me runs
I love you channel let’s collaborate one day I do RUclips video
Thank you! Sounds good! :)
Can I work for you??
While I am not hiring at the moment, always happy to start that conversation! talkabouttrucking@gmail.com
Would you be willing to dispatch for me at a said % ?
