This is a great antique mall! One of my faves too!
I live in Southern California and the closest thing we have to a true antique mall is the occasional estate sale. You might hit a good yard sale or swap meet but all in all it is NOT the same. Whahhh! 😢

I have always loved mushroom's and collected them! Started when I was 17-18 yrs old! I loved the earth tone color's. Showing my age but so happy they are coming back!! Amazing. Loved joining you in that fun shop!! Saw a bunch of item's!! Thank you... Love when treasures you found!! So fun

Oh boy, I had a good time. Sorry Yvonne but I kinda figured out the things you were gonna buy but I’m happy you got some great stuff for yourself ( Swung milk glass vase) n for the booth. Those were some nice antique stores. I saw many things I would have loved to have. One of these days I’m going to drive to St.Petersburg it’s about 50 minutes from my house. They’ve got oodles of antique shops up there. Id better start saving my moola😆.

Thanks for taking us all along on this outing, I enjoyed it. Saw many items that brought back childhood and early adulthood memories. I do wonder what it is with the mushrooms lately, I'm seeing them a lot, like everywhere I go. Just history repeating again I suppose. And oh yes, the clocks, most especially the Big and Baby Bens...love those too.
Now, about the heat, yes m'am where I live, this time of the year it is 90+ most days with some humidity hitting at 60% and upwards. It's awful, I hate living here, but not much I can do about it except stay inside with the A/C cranked down low.
I hope your medical issues are improving and you are getting some energy back. You look great. Look after yourself and take it easy. Sending love and prayers from SW Georgia. xx

I will Galesburg has great antique malls, but our goodwills are priced higher than many other places I’ve gone in Michigan. But Kalamazoo does have a few great resale places if you ever want to check them out
I may check out some of the Kalamazoo stores sometime

Did you ever go over to the channel I had sent, cant remember name now,lol, but they had made an arbor with old galvanized watering cans made with OVC pipe. That would look awesome in your garden.

I saw a whole shallow basket of butter pats at a barn sale. Each had a different pattern on them, round, $8 each. I remembered what you said about resale price but I wasn't sure if that higher price applied to only the plain white ironstone butter pats so I didn't buy any.
Higher price refers to the chunky white ones. The others that would be retail price at $8 each
I like your “shop with me” visits and I’m impressed with how many things you left behind. That mantle clock shelf was really a great way to add unique interest to decor. My husband made me a shelf inside an old round metal cookie tin and if we were younger and Hunny felt better he’d probably make some for others. I put a chicken display in mine and people who have come to visit beg to buy it. Unfortunately I just can’t part with things but one day I’ll have to I suppose. Praying for you to have good health once again soon Yvonne but in the meantime any visit is a good visit. Looking like you are gonna hit that 100,000 subscriber mark soon!!!:):):)

Thank you .Oh my goodness I have the Sears merry mushroom canisters soup tureen and spice set with the wooden spice shelves that hung on the wall my mom gave me when she tired of it 40 years ago I haven’t used it for a good 25 years I’m going to go make sure it’s still in good shape😊 I figured it would be in style again.Lol

Have you ever made garden mushrooms out of a glass bowl and candlestick. How about a upside down rusty bucket on an old fence post
You can also use glass insulators and use a branch for the srem

City I loved watching this makeover. I'm completely shocked and amazed that you found it for $20.00! A secretary desk like that around here, even in the condition yours was in, would be at least $100.00+ and at that price you would be extremely lucky. It turned out beautifully though.
I live in South Carolina. Many people in my area use old farm implements in their outdoor areas. It is a look I love.

I also watch Designed to the Nines on RUclips and she does a lot of crafting and such like you and she had metal poisoning, lead poisoning, other poisons from all the things she was redoing... maybe that's what you have??
They tested for that. So we know that’s out. So sorry to hear that she got that from doing things she loves to do

Absolutely fabulous shopping trip! I passed a lamb mould at the yard sale same as what you found! I knew I should grab it, but didn’t tug my heart! I did look for it today at 1/2 off day, but it was gone 😅! Scored a wood box for all my mashers and paddles, you are a HUGE inspiration!!!!

Thank you for showing these stores. My coworkers and I are planning an antique shopping trip to Allen next month. We may have to plan an extra day! Also thank you for your ideas on what to do with some of the pieces. Makes me think about using Mom and Dad's stuff differently 😊.
I prefer my antique stores to be a little less arranged, and a little more dirty. I love being on my hands and knees, dragging dirty boxes out from under dirty shelves and finding something I can't live without.
Oh, and Yvonne...Thank you for always being able to tell the difference between a goose, a duck and a swan. I've seen too any thrift flippers oohing and aahing over their "black swan with white accents" only for it to be a Canada goose!

I understand why they charge what they charge but most stuff is going to sit for a very long time after a while no one will want this stuff, if all these antique shops, drop there prices by half people would buy more , I see more people walking out empty handed then those who buy 1 or 2 things😮
