Shirley, I imagine it was difficult to be at that auction! 😢. Hugs and prayers for you and the family. Y’Vonne does such beautiful things and will be respectful of all that she and Chris got from your sister’s home. We had 2 deaths in our family in February so it’s been a very difficult season…which makes me, acutely, aware of how you are feeling. Prayer for peace and comfort.

Shirley, I’m so sorry for your loss. I lost my dad and then my mom recently and my hubby and I are going through their house and sheds and sorting out what we’re keeping (if I could I’d keep it all) before we have an estate sale. It’s so hard going through it, I can’t imagine how hard it is to see it sold. I told my husband I don’t want to be around or see it being sold, I can’t handle it.
My heart goes out to you, but Yvonne and her husband are so creative and give everything new life, it will be nice to know that others will be enjoying her things and she’s living on in a sense through the things she enjoyed. ♥️♥️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻. Praying for you.

The Tonto is actually Geronimo. He is part of the Johnny West series of western figures. My siblings and I had quite the collection back in the 70s. There were horses too. They are collectible. That was nice to see, brought back.memories for sure.

Yvonne. I am so jealous of your nutcrackers. And all of your spools. Girl you are so lucky. I’m going to tell God I want to go to some auctions like you. I’m in south Texas and these people don’t know what primitive is and very little farm. And that’s my favorite. That’s what I try do for my shows. I’m so happy for you. You deserve to find those treasures. I mean we work hard but I love doing these crafts and repurposing furniture. Take care and keep on keeping on. Love Pepper

WOW WOW WOW!!!!!! I continually kick myself for getting rid of my primitives! They still have my heart! That crown is FABULOUS, along with the double candle holder black iron with a “spade” on top! I am SO excited for you and Chris! I’m only mid way through and just drooling! OH! Shawnee pottery is highly collectible ❤

Amazing haul. I'm trying to envision what you get up to with all these spools, candles, tin houses, primitive boxes, rusty stars, etc etc. My faves are the salvaged wood pieces.

I forgot to suggest that you melt some of those candles pour into grungy cans and put cute sayings or labels on them. Halloween & Christmas will be here before we know it. I love doing that. I even roll the cans in cinnamon to grunge them more. Wow you are still emptying boxes. I love it

The small miniatures may have been items they collected for a printers box in the 1980's. Nice haul.

The one legged cowboy and the Native American you pulled out is a toy from the 60s. My brother and I had them. They were Johnny West, Jane West, and I know there was a smaller boy and girl.

This was a big haul. You definitely got a lot of stuff to craft with. I love the sugar buckets, crockery bowls, but my favorites were the ironstone pieces, especially the soup terrain. It is absolutely beautiful!

You could open up your own candle shop. So many different candles. I had so many favorites, that I can’t name em all.
Chris did well also. I have a old wooden vice n I’m hanging on to it. I love old tools also. I have a lot of the screwdrivers with the wooden handles. Believe or not I use them. I really enjoyed seeing all the great stuff you got. Can’t wait to see the bird houses being redone. I also can’t blame you for hanging onto the Ironstone.

I would have loved to have seen her home to see if she had it adorned with all of this. I believe I'm just as excited as you are. I'm so envious! My Mom passed in 2008 and I inherited a lot of her primitives that I will cherish until my time on earth is through. I hope one of the girls in the family will share my same love

You made my day, I sure enjoyed all you were unboxing. I am really getting old because about 75% of these items I either have or had, you were pulling at my heartstrings. That last box you showed is to hold lots of those littles, that was how we (us older primitive ladies) would display our treasures! I loved everything you got but I do lean a little bit toward the Western stuff check the horses and make sure they aren't breyers that can be a lot money for you it's usually stamped on their tummy on plastic horses I sure was hoping to see The Lone ranger with the Tonto

I bought a pale green long tail Fenton bird. Love it. I have print type box like your. It has shadows of where the metal pieces that held the letters. It’s amazing. You got an amazing haul. 😮 gorgeous things.
