The architectural piece could go over a door opening, perhaps the front door if it’s big enough. I hang metal pieces over my door spaces. Love the video!

Yea you probably have a handy Fanny pack with sanitizer, a magnet, a jewelers loop and a black light. Disposable gloves and a mask.
A good cleaning and kilz deodorizer stain block primer and the house will be fine. The floors probably need stripping too. If it goes cheap it’s a good flipping house. A diamond in the rough. What a fun day and great finds.

You should put the three sifters on the wall you said you need a large piece for opposite the large tobacco basket
Wow. What an auction, so many wonderful things. I’ve never seen so many crocks in one place. The bottles, lamps, oh my goodness. Great score on that $5 crock. I’m like you, crack doesn’t bother me and can’t see it when displayed. Another great haul ❤

Wow.. that’s all it went for. But it did need .. a deep clean.. and those all houses sometimes need all of hidden updates ❤️would have loved to see you too. It was hot

I"ve seen lighting shops with fewer lamps! Wow! I think 3 sifters hung together would be awesome! I have 2 swans, bought at different times & sellers. I displayed them in different places...til my grandson was able to move them. Hesqid the baby needed to be with his mommy! So that's how they stayed. Love seeing your new home.

Not Tiffany lamps but Arts and Crafts lamps by Miller; and, Hubbard. The archetectural piece could go over a doorway as a header. Nice haul. Love the #4 jug. Great piece.

Ick, what an auction. Put your crocks, on top of your cupboards, on a couple of 2 x 4's set side by side to raise them up...just an idea. Thanx for sharing

OMG that was a huge auction. Those Tiffany lamps were absolutely gorgeous. Your so right they are sooo expensive. I would of bought the butter churn. If you remember the oil spill years ago n how they cleaned up the animals with good old Dawn dish soap. It’s cuts grease like butter. ( no pun attended😆) I wash dishes with it, spot clean any clothes with grease it’s great stuff. I know you use it to clean your items.
I think you found cool things. That Swan is precious with a baby attached. Love your crocks. Your right you never see the cracks from the backs. Now you’ve got my attention on the Ironstone. Beautiful shape n who cares if the bowl isn’t Ironstone it’s still a good piece n it matches. The shaker (screen) round item is so cool. And yes 3 would look good. They always say use odd number to display. It would look good hanging with the other two.
I know how you feel not having enough wall space. I don’t have it either. My house has so many windows which I love but it’s nice to be able to display your favorites. My house was built in 1950 n I have 22 windows. It’s tough!

Your longaberger basket was made by a left handed weaver! That’s a good deal 🙌🏻. When the top band ends facing left it was made it was a lefty or right it was a righty. (I sold LB for MANY years)

I wonder how filthy that quilt got by the time it sold! When stuff is that filthy you don't want to spend much cuz you may not see cracks.

At least you don’t have to pay for all that dirt. I think the bottles you like are called a Hutchinson. Adventure archeology is a great show on utube to learn about bottle and fun to watch. Thank you for all your videos just live them all
Lol.. yep dirt free( as they say) Chris watches the Under the Plains.. he digs up old outhouse area. I still don’t know the difference between tool top or a applied top🤗

You got a lot of great stuff the wooden cabinet with glass and curved sides you showed when you first went in the home , I have that one! There was a lot of great stuff there for sure had some high prices also!! Me and and my husband like watching the antique road show, you never know what you might have in your home that is worth a lot of money for sure!
It was sad that that glass was broken in that cabinet.. ( I believe it was rounded) I’m sure very expensive to replace. Yes.. we’ve been listening to there pod cast Detours..

It was still a very fun auction to tag along. It was just a shame you couldn’t deals within the smoke smell, but I totally understand it, in the house because the furniture was absolutely beautiful!!!
Omgoodness! I would have swooned over those lamps, but like you, way out of my price range. And the cabinets that house were Awesome, I would love to have them in my house, just gorgeous!!! Clearly I would have come away from that place penniless! Because I saw so much that I would have tried to buy. I love auctions like this one. Just row after row of amazing finds. Makes you wonder though, how did one house hold soooo much stuff. Thanks for the show, I truly enjoyed this one. Oh and I have found that a soak in good ole vinegar and borax or baking soda will get the smell out of most anything. Take care! Loads of love! xx

👋🏻 I have been enjoying your channel. I wanted to share that I found a large round shaker basket at my Antique mall for $ 27. I was thrilled. 😊 has some green paint. Also the exact butterfly lamp u saw that was broken . Mine is perfect. Also a smaller one where the body of the butterfly is a sleeping baby. So precious. I am addicted to Antique malls. 😊
Wow, what an awesome haul! Im with you on the white pitchers and blue bottles. Love them. Your kitchen cabinet where you are displaying seems dark inside ,not showing things in the best light. Mirrored back maybe? A lighter colour interior, or lined with a patterned fabric? Or perhaps you have interior lighting that wasn’t turned on?

I recently got some auction items that had been on the top of kitchen cabinets for a very long time. Ewww they were very furry and sticky.

y would I can only imagine the smell. The smell may be gotten rid of by washing the walls, windows and trim boards with bleach water...or a degreaser. Sure will be lots of work though. Loved all the bottles and the tiffany lamps. Oh yes, the tiffany lamps are way out of my budget! Am glad you got some goodies, Thanks for sharing!

Wow, there were soooooo many gorgeous things. That red vase is gorgeous, you were saying “no it’s not glowing “, I’m saying it is glowing😂. I love those blue bottles. I’m glad you got a couple of cool crocks. I HATE cigarette smoke. I’ve never had a sense of smell but cigar smoke literally makes me sick and cars or houses with cigarette smoke stench will too. 😊❤

Yvonne…you could use blocks of wood to raise some of the crocks behind that grouping of crocks on the over the fridge cabinet.
What a collection of items at that auction. I'm drooling. I've see you touch and clean some really dusty, dirty things in videos. So when you were grossed out , I knew they had to be pretty bad. . Maybe they thought the dirt and grime would prove they were old and people would pay more money? I really like what you got. I hope that big jug won't be too heavy over your refrigerator. I know you were concerned about that last video. Sorry you didn't get a lamp.
I’ve always said I can wash my hands.. but sticking.. heat.. I 😬The auction company.. they had gloves on. They aren’t paid to clean.. just to set out and sell🫤
I haven't been able to go to an auction for a couple years and I miss it!! That one had SO MANY awesome finds...wow! The red swung vase was kind of out of place, in looking at all of the other items, not alot of mid century things. Awesome to see everything!

I grew up with 4 smokers in the house 🤢🤢🤢🤢 Always sick with sinus infections. Finally 2 siblings moved out…then my Dad had major emergency surgery and they had to PUMP the tar from his lungs for 24 hours before performing major surgery…UGH !!!! Then my Mother got cancer! You are right..THEY DON’T SMELL IT like Non-smokers do. I’m living in that house now and it took me a couple of years of washing cupboards down, ripping the carpet up was the best !!! It held so much of the smell. Now you would never know smokers lived here.
I’m sure there were heavy smokers or they ate a lot of fried food 😳… then add years of dust from no one living there…. YUP…not nice. Thank goodness for Dawn Dish Soap!
Oh my what beauties there were. That built in pantry… sigh…..😔 I can’t imagine buying one of those cabinet and everything in them! One looked like it was full of “ Willow Tree Figurines “ in it. All those beautiful BLUE BOTTLES in the sunlight.. what a statement! Glad you were able to get some UNDER $700 🫣 They really go that high? Guess we need to educate ourselves …LOL! Amazing ! I love the deep green glass, you showed us one …LOL!!!

You got some great stuff, I loved all those crock's, and bottles and jugs. You always seem to find a piece of iron stone every were you go.... I went to a thrift store yesterday, they had just put out a cart of like new Santa Clauses for $3 each it's the big tall ones that have presents and lanterns and just all kinds of stuff. I also found a pitcher mid size, I think it's iron stone it's very heavy but it doesn't say iron stone, did you not say that you have found some that wasn't marked God bless🙏
No not all ironstone is marked ( from me asking goggle search) great price on some Santa.. right time to buy 🎅🏼

Oh.. great price.. Chris told me I was wrong on the cloche price. It was $275😬
If you need height up top you cld use a small block of wood to set your decor on. You can’t see it.
