Great haul. That mantel clock is awesome. Thanks for doing the chimes, sounded lovely. I love old wood too it’s in my blood. The island looks so good. Just a little motherly advice…..Please get help when moving those doors and other heavy pieces. When you get my age you will understand why I’m saying this to you. You are marvelous at your job and I love watching you and Chris!!
Love seeing the brown piggy bank on the shelf! I got one from my aunt Christmas of 77... Special because my 2 yr old cousin started screaming and dancing when I got to their house, saying " we got you an iggy Lisa!" He has been named iggy every since! Good memories!

I love the toolbox and all your wood items. I would try to add some of the green handled stuff like a potato masher etc! I like color though so it may not be your thing! I’m loving this channel!
Your green and the white flower Pyrex is from 1973, I got a set like that for my bridal shower in 1973😅

I live in the south, Tennessee, to be exact, and down here, those antique and vintage items are everywhere. I watch all your videos and enjoy seeing how you style and "restyle" items. While watching this particular video, you took me down a wonderful memory lane. It brought back so many memories of my grandfather who dealt with antiques and vintage furniture items for a living. As a child, I'd go to auctions and estate sales with him and hang around his shop to see what he did with each piece. I learned to love "rusty-crusty" items spending that quality time with him. Thank you so much for bringing back those wonderful memories for me.

Like the island box, was hoping you would try putting a piece of ironstone or small crock inside with utensils, baby's breath, greenery 😊. Some nice finds and Chris's present was sweet. Love the pulleys😊. ,thanks for sharing ❤

My mom had a bowl like that with the holes around it. Some times she would cook biscuits and put jelly in the bowl and little spoons in the holes. I thought it was so fancy. Lol

In WI, it looks the same as you are in Michigan. The snow is almost melted, only the piles remaining. Plus it's been in the 40's. Unbelievable, almost like early. spring. More snow will come, but, the snow won't be built up as much. The spinners are cute. I got one last yr, and, have it in my front garden. My husband says my windmill needs a new ball bearing, so he must get it. Great Haul!

That clock brought me back 40 years to hearing the church bells when Inwould walk from 1 grandparents house to their lumber yard and then across the steeet to my other grandmothers Fabric store, I loved hearing the church bells. My Grammie had a corner Secretary Desk almost identical to that, oh I wish I had that now. Love the piece you put together for your island, just beautiful

Can you take the glass off your island? My friend has glass on her dining room table and it is removable. I love all your wood pieces. I have several of them. Love your videos. After I typed this you said you wouldn’t remove the glass 😂. Maybe stick a few pieces of greenery in your box to match the seasons.
The plate you put back in the auction box is my China pattern! Grape leaves and vines in robin egg blue with silver rim! ❤

I have seen a lot of thrift flip videos where they paint the silver plated bowls and put a rub on transfer on them. They turn out pretty cute.

I grew up next to a gigantic brick water tower. It played the same song your mantle clock plays. When I heard it I immediately thought of my grandmother singing the song. The song is 🎵 My How Time Flies. All men must die. Think of the end. Keep God your friend. 🎵 The tower can be seen on Google. It’s in Lawrence Massachusetts. It’s still standing & Im old!

Love the mail sorter shelving. I have one too but have metal dividers on wood shelving and it sits on a very heavy matching bench with drawers. It came from our local post office.

I love the toolbox. And I can never pass up mashers, rolling pins, and butter paddles. I love them in crocks but I love the toolbox and idea! I may try to do that with one of my tool boxes. Which means I may need to get more wooden things. Oh well. I’ll take it for the team. I have an old rake head above my kitchen window and hung my mashers from it like a valance. I got that idea from Pinterest! Loved the video!!!!

I think you should keep all the junk jewelry stuff. It would come in handy when you make your little Christmas pieces. Loved Chris's clock! Also loved the Oliver Tractor piece. It would be so cool with a light in it just sitting in Chris's man cave area.
My friend has over 300 rolling pins and not two alike, so I don’t judge your love of a good rolling pin. I love the tool box full of turned kitchenalia. Beautiful.
Sunflowers would look so nice in front of that big white wall. Hollyhock is another tall flower that would be so pretty there.
