Everyone say yay for the journey channel! 👍👍
🎉❤
Yeahhh!! For the Journey Channel! I ❤ it! What a team they are.♥️😊👍
Yay for the channel
Thank you for informing us on the dynamics of your special profession ! It's so interesting. So much work for both of you, constantly seeking, cleaning, transporting all these old objects. Your enthusiasm is catching.
It’s for sending telegraphs according to my husband. I’ve given up arguing with him. He’s always right! 😂
I think so too.
I know what you mean!!!🤣
I thought it was a telegraph sender also
the little oil can that Chris had never seen before, my mom had one that came with her sewing machine back in the 1950s
Thank you for sharing this
I was literally on the phone to a cat rescue. I was telling the lady from the rescue that I wanted a cat. I wanted an orange cat. So anyway, I opened my garage door to to get food for my dogs and what do I see, a cat. The cat is orange had a clipped ear so it had been fixed and sent back into the wild. I enticed the cat to come in because that poor cat was literally starving. I already had a cat and they still need to get use to each other. The new cat I’ve had for less than two weeks. The way it happened God had his hand in it.
I got my 4 kitty babies in a similar way. We live out in the country a mile away from the nearest town. Summer of 2022 as I was walking down my backyard sidewalk, I just kinda said outloud...well God, if you want me to have a pet again, you'll just have to send it to me. And then I put it out of my mind and stopped thinking about it. I'm really allergic to cats, lost my last one of over 10 years, lost my last German Shepherd soon after that, and had been petless for a few years now. Several months later, on a late October afternoon, my husband and I took a backyard stroll. Halfway down the walk we were met by four 8 week old kittens, who all bounded right up to our feet, meowing and purring like crazy. They were super skinny, you could see their little bones sticking up, but spotlessly clean, no fleas or ticks, apparently very healthy. Just starved. I tried to find where they came from in our area but no luck. Been living with me ever since. They are such cuddle loves. Who am I to argue with God about what pet he sent to me. I handed the decision to him and that was his answer. Works for me!
Love that 😻
The cat distribution system is working well!
Love everything you got today. Love your channel!
I love the small stamped crockery!!!!!!!! Great Siri on hail too.
My husband thinks that the Tonka road grader is most likely early to mid 1950s because he received one for Christmas when he was around 7 or 8 years old (he was born in 1950) and it looks very much like the one he had. So a big score there for Chris. I immediately thought Biology class Bunsen Burner when you showed the green thingies on the cart, though I'm not 100% sure, it's just what came to mind. I love the old watering cans as well as the teeny oil cans, I'd buy those babies in a heartbeat if I saw them for sale. Maybe use some cabochons for the frog's eyes, being that they are flat on one side, and usually easy to find at the craft stores, or Walmart even.
Ok, I know I'm probably the longest winded commenter here on your channel, and I'm sorry if that annoys y'all or any of your other subscribers, it just that I rarely get to chat with other folks with similar interests, and also with being an "older" person who grew up around, or seeing and using some of the items you and Chris find at auctions & antique shops I like to share what little I know about some items.
With that being said... ever heard of Mudlarking? It is not as common here in the US as it is in other countries, Scotland for example, and it is when folks go down and hunt along the shoreline of rivers i.e. Thames, during low tide. Nicola White here on RUclips is one such "Mudlarker" that I sometimes watch, and she has found some very interesting pieces/items. In fact I recently watched one of her videos from 6-8 months ago, wherein she found a Dundee Marmalade crock, though if memory serves me correctly, she wasn't on the Thames shore when she found that one. Your friend Lisa is correct, what we (collectors) consider treasures they often times consider items to be junk or rubbish. If you can find time you should check out Mudlarking sometime. I'm not a cat person, I prefer dogs over cats, but your new baby, Tater, is a real cutie, love his/her markings.
Again, I'm sorry for my longwinded comments. Wonderful items y'all got in this haul. Stay safe and warm! xx
Love this.. I always enjoy reading your comments. So don’t stop❤
Chris looks relaxed when you are with him. You could easily be together on your reveals since you play so well together 🤗
Love the journey channel and your wonderful countenance

Great haul, you're lucky you can resell what you can't use.
The odd looking box with the metal thing looks like a Morse code or telegraph tapper. The four screws might be for the telegraph wire??? Or maybe from a camera???
So glad your kitty is doing better. Our two love to carry their sparkly furry toys around and meow with them in their mouths. 🤗
Great haul, thanks for sharing. So very proud Tater is going to be okay! Peaches is as eloquent as ever! ❤❤❤
I have my grandma’s little oil can. She used it for her sewing machine. I love the sound of the click, it reminds me of her!
Love all of these yummys.. Those kitties are so cute. By the way your hair is beautiful.
Thank you so much!
I just love watching your kitties play Our kitty loves to play fetch also. He’s a beautiful Blue Russian and his favorite toy is a scrap of material that looks like a mouse tail and all and he carries it by the tail all around the house. So cute. But, any way. I just love all your videos. Including the kitties.
Oh my heart is definitely with you hearing of your new kitty’s terrible misadventure with his health issues. My boy cat had a UTI a few months back. Soooo sad when you see him hovering close to the litter box being such a good cat he knows that he needs to stay close. Yeah very sad to witness. We love them so very much
Ohhh wow soooo many awesome pieces!! I could stay in the garage looking all day!! I love watching your kitties, so sweet😊 We have a precious kitty, she's our baby girl. We have A little hand lazer, we love to play with her with it, she loves it and its so funny to watch her. Whew thank goodness Tater didn't knock any vases over and nothing got broken🫣 I love the tins! And your excitement is the best! I just found 2 sweet little vintage milk glass vases today, not hobnail but still sweet😊
Yay!!!! Great video!!♥️

Proud mama!
You are so right about how you so carefully pack when you ship an item! I bought your swan with the baby swan and they were beautifully protected! Tater is so adorable!
🥰
Glad Tater is doing better! My 15 year old calico has been battling chronic tonsillitis (rare) each time she finished her antibiotics she would crash a day later….now she’s on a steroid and doing well….probably on for rest of her life…so be it if she does well on it.
Love all your auction finds! Love your little potted meat jars and the little lids too!❤
Bless you.. we love them so much
Use Marbles, vintage buttons or bolts for the frogs eyes!
Yes that’s what I was thinking
Tater is so cute! Glad hes feeling better! ❤ all your goodies!
You are so sweet with your fur babies. They are so lucky to have you as a momma! My family loves our fur babies too! God bless you!
Definitely keep the scooter for yourself!
Great treasures. Everything is so pretty,,,
I've collected many oil cans. I love them
I'm with you on the crazing -- luv it! I was listening to Dr. Lori today and I believe she said to leave 'it' behind if it has crazing. I wanted to shout, "But Dr Lori, I LOVE crazing!"
Just goes to show there’s love for everything.. it’s personal ❤
I’m so glad Tater is doing better. He is so adorable. We have a tuxedo cat also. They are so sweet and affectionate. I love your English crockery and ironstone. It’s my jam too. ❤. My friends brother had gotten a couple in a box of items he won and didn’t want them. So she asked me if I wanted them. He sold them to me for $10 for both. I thought I was going to faint. He didn’t know what they were. I offered him more but he wouldn’t take it. I was so excited to get them. 😁. Also, thanks for sharing the Etsy pages for the vintage cards and register tags. Got mine in the mail this week and love them. ❤
What a blessing ❤
I have Orange Tabby and a Black and white cat too!
So glad your baby is better!! My babies are seniors, so I feel for you. Love your finds.
Tater is not just cute, he's beautiful!!
Yes! I want to buy an eye ointment crock!
I’m glad your fur baby is feeling better better we lost our cat Misty March 2023 tumor in her lung still miss her terribly and grieve her your cats are so beautiful
Hi Yvonne , you can go and dig on old victorian village tips here in the UK usually at the edge of the village in a wooded area. Lots of old bottles stone wear pots and lids glass broken and unwanted china . Basically anything thats not rotted down, people have had some wonderful finds.
There are several RUclips channels that do the mudlarking in England. It is very interesting watching what they find in the mud when the tide goes out.
Spry shortening....I remember that. My Mom used to buy it when I was younger. Tater is such a sweety. I have one his same age and he is full of the wanting the string. He is just to fun!!
Fun video, so sorry about your kitty, so glad he is doing better, so cute to watch them both
Thank you! 😊
Hi, that wooden box that you didn’t know what it was, is a Model T Ignition Coil. I also had no idea what it was when I bought one at an auction. Someone had put it in the tiny suitcase of old photos that I won. So happy to see Tater feeling good! It’s scary when they are feeling poorly.
Agree. It's something to do with a Model T Ford... My Dad restored one in the 1970s (I'm in Australia) and was probably 7 or 8 years old at the time and loved to "help" him ( hand him spanners etc and get in the way lol) I remember these...
The hose nozzles would be cute displayed together on a garden shed wall or on a fence to a garden.
Farm set is darling!
The eye ointment containers are super cute, would totally buy one
Fun video! I enjoyed seeing your wonderful finds from your friend Lisa! And, the two marshmallow tins are awesome. So glad Tater is doing better. 😊
Tator is absolutely gorgeous. When we adopted Smokey and Bandit, they were eight weeks old. They also loved to play under the dinning room table, hurdling the rungs on the chairs…. I miss that kitten stage.
Great video! Love seeing Chris on more too 🎉🎉🎉
Your shelves look just like mine vintage rusty crusty goodness,..I absolutely love it all 😊
I have been looking for that farm set forever 😢 you guys are so lucky to find as many as you do!❤
I love your fines
W lost our 22 y/o Siamese cat and I soooo loved watched tater run around .. peaches is also a peach lol .. ty for including them
I love all your new finds you got from your friend. I really love the potted meat crocks! Because they say Southport at the bottom. I live in Southport, North Carolina so now I need one! Lol. I know you said they are hard to find(and this must be true because I don’t remember ever seeing crocks like those)but now I will be on the look out for them
The digging thing needs to go into Chris collection some good finds
Such great treasures. I love the pig and know exactly how you will fix the hole, can't wait to see the makeover! Happy Tater is feeling much better! So happy you got the benches! TFS Yvonne and Chris
Thank you!
lol FROG not PIG!
Wonderful auction finds. Your new kitty is so cute, im glad he is feeling well. Super fun video. Very nice marshmallow tins. I love how you have styled the the tins.
Thank you 🤗
Such an entertaining, informative video the potted meat ( meat paste ) pots would have been thrown away and are found in victorian tips or washed up in estuaries and rivers but I've never seen the ointment pots there's a RUclips channel called Northern Mudlarks where 2 lovely ladies search their local area for finds 😊❤
Try watching u tubes' northern mudlarks. Their videos are beautiful , scotland. They search for old finds along wayerways and in dumps , crockery. Glass, metals. Sounds like you might enjoy. Love your work. Thx from michigan.
Love the farm set!!!!
I love your ironstone collections. I rarely come across any here in Massachusetts unless it's very pricey.
Look up mudlark to see things they find in England. Apparently, long ago, people used to throw trash 29:57 in the Thames River. There are tons of clay pipes from what I've seen.
andMrs T Great video glad you won the kitchen nook furniture
You guys found some really cool things! I went to my first estate sale on Saturday. I found my husband a wind-up train. He keeps looking at it, asking how much I paid, and saying that i really did good. Score one for the wife!
That is awesome!
Just got back from vacation, now have to catch up on all the yumminess I’ve missed!
I would put the two new ones on top of the yacht club and put a campfire on each side until you get more
I Love your marshmallow tins I’ve never heard of them before until now
Dear Yvonne, your hairstyle is particularly lovely. Your large new metal cans are handsome, you are right to put them high up on your corner hubby. Thank you for showing it to us.
Love watching your channel so much. Your cats are adorable. Have you ever thought about doing your own auctions on What not ? That would be awesome.
Potted meat is more like liverwurst or pate. It’s a spreadable meat
Wish I knew how to ×or the auction. I've wanted a lightning rod for years. You got some great stuff.
You could use the FIZZ bases for bottle brush tree bases. Just snip off the piece of metal
Omg your friend scored big. Your scored one those little crocks and eye thingys. Love love love those. I wish they had those here in Canada. I love littles. Going to try and make some faux ones if I can and see how they turn out. 😊glad tater is doing well.😊
Love it!!❤❤❤❤
Those brass sconces are beautiful and I’m sure would sell in your booth. I’m always looking for those.
I would love some of the marmalade / crockery jars.
Really enjoyed your Journey Channel❣️❣️❣️
Your clock is a Waltham. Waltham MA was a large clock making community outside Boston. The original tower from the factory still stands but it is part of condos.
Tell Chris, I feel his pain tonight. Heartbreaking end for the Lions. We’ll get it next year, but oh how far they came this year.
It was truly heartbreaking ..
Love your kitties ❤
Love your glassware ❤
Love the scooter!
Enjoyed this!
