It's so much fun watching you and Chris go through the auction haul and hearing both of your comments. I make sure to watch the videos from both channels all of the way through and hope he can retire soon 😀 How could you pass over that red haired troll, he transported me back to my childhood!
I loved seeing and hearing Chris' sense of humor. Yvonne, you are way too young to know about kid gloves. Back in the 60's and 70's, ladies were not properly dressed without gloves. Of course, we wore our hats also. Thanks for this unboxing.
I loved the thought of people dressing up to go out.. a lot more then they do now. I guess there’s the good and bad of it. But it seems great in movies 🥰
I had no problem with the sound on my phone. And the crinkling of the paper didn’t bother me at all. Wow! What haul. You found some cool items n some very interesting ones too. Those torch cans Chris got were so cool. I haven’t seen them in years. Oh my goodness the wooden boxes loved them. There hard to come by at least where I live. Maybe farther up in some towns in Florida you’ll find some. There’s a lot of farm land. As always you guys did well. ( wish I could be so lucky to find some littles) ♥️♥️😊👍👍👍🌟🌟🌟🌟
Treasures! Lots of goodies! Yes, I would take a chance on a $2.00 box. I'm not telling you what to do, but as a small business owner, I appreciate people donating items to my thrift shop. There aren't any Goodwill's around my area, so I am able to give back to my community because I can sell them at a fair price. I enjoy all of your videos. Take care.
Yay!!! That pig cup is too cute! Oh, I love the blue Santa! Oh, and the hat lady with pearls!❤ love the gnomes! Oh, that man head!😂 Wow, those torches!😮Silly me, I love the cigar boxes! My heart, the box with the little drawers is sweet! Sweet iron couple! I really like the cabinet with the drawers. Another lady!! Great finds! Thanks for sharing with us!❤
Chris covering the the Barbie doll up.... something my husband would do! Love the old tools just as much... there's just something about old tools that draws me to them...always have! Thank youins both for sharing! God Bless ❤
I love the haul, thanks for sharing. The nesting boxes, the wooden boxes and the bunny mold are graet fine. When Chris was unwrapping the items, I loved hearing the crinkling of the paper. ❤ 😊
How EXCITING!!!!! Loved the manicurist box, tiny purple bird! That’s paraffin wax is AWESOME on a sticky drawer, makes it glide!!! Also your chippy paint 😉
Haha! 50 years ago my mom and I made porcelain dolls at a class. It was fun! Not creepy at all! Awesome head vase! Your green pitcher was Gondor. Loved that amberina reticulated bowl...wow! What a FABULOUS haul!
My great aunt used to get the head planters when she was sick we still have them, they are large ones, the boots are beer boots,I had one from Germany, you have to drink I believe with the to up other wise the beer splashed up and you wore it.😂I believe in the early 1970s was when they stopped making the planter heads
Sherry, from Canterbury Cottage, would love that Abraham Lincoln metal statue. She has a small collection. I loved the smalls , and the lady heads. Ive never seen such small ones. It was fun watching all your finds. Thanks for sharing❤
Holy moly! Oh that first box you unpacked with the milk glass pieces, I’d loved to have that stuff. The first Barbie you pulled out isn’t old. Wow what a wonderful haul. I saw so much that I loved. 😊❤ The lady head planters are old from like the 40’s and maybe early 50’s. Chocolate molds.
I am with you, Yvonne! I love the smalls. My favorite small is the couple on the bench. They were just so precious. The eyelashes are big enough to make a toupee, or as my uncle called it, Sunday hair. The ceramic roller made me laugh. My husband used to work in a small diner. They had a stainless steel thing that looked like the ceramic piece. They used it for melted butter. So my brain went after a squirrwl or two.
Awesome haul! Love all the Littles and vintage pieces! Absolutelyove the faded teal cubby with the handle ! That looks like me! LOL!! OHHH ! And the Gulfwax! I remember those well!
Yvonne, I know this is late but for what it is worth here are my impressions. I think the animal heads are foxes not owls. The White Meakin water pitcher is from the late 1800’s and there is one on eBay for $350. The brown transferware pitcher is by Godinger is reproduction Antique Reflections.. The Green planter is old Cookson Pottery, and you have some nice flowers blue and some transferware. The white hobnail vase looks like Fenton. The others looked like Fostoria. You have a red Japanese Bride doll in the one box. $15-$75. The Pig Mug is Japan. UCTCI. The Blue Salt Glaze Santa is adorable. I think the Red Bowl is Westmoreland Crochet in the color Amberina.
Oh my goodness…what an eclectic gathering of stuff! So interesting to speculate on the life of the person who owned all of that stuff! Always enjoyable to spend time with you! You sound so sweet and friendly! Could you show us more of you Bible collection and displays you have for them? I love what you do with them. I have a few old Bible books and now am trying to collect some old Bibles, but they are expensive and hard to find! Who knew! Hopefully they are being read as well! Thank you! May God bless you and your family!
That Gulf haul sure brought back a lot of memories! There used to be a Gulf gas station near my house back in the late 1960s and early 1970s. One of the promotions they offered was a free piece of crinkle glassware with each fill up. I have a green pitcher, a couple of tumblers, and a few other pieces. We had quite a few pieces back in the day, but many of them were broken over the years. I think you can still buy Gulf paraffin wax. I have some in my pantry. Sealing jelly jars with wax is no longer considered safe, so my paraffin is only used for crafts.
I got one of the small planters, with fresh flowers, when I was in the hospital, back in the late 50's or early 60's, from sm aunt, I thought I was so special Thanks for the memory.❤
This video has been fun Yvonne. I loved watching y’all opening and going through each box. I thought your voice came through fine. You really got some wonderful things! I just wish we had some auctions around here. I too, love cubies and wooden boxes, especially those with writing. Unfortunately, they’re very few and far between around here. Thanks for sharing this haul with us. Loved it!!!
I remember my grandfather purchasing Gulf products. He was a shade tree mechanic. My little brother works for Budweiser in upstate NY.😊He loves working there…he’s a beer drinker so it’s a perfect job (I guess).
Hello Yvonne and Chris! This was an interesting haul. Love seeing all the different items and treasures you find. Thanks for filming for us after long hours of hunting. Can't wait to see what you do with these in the future. Take care and God bless 😊
The small wood barrell with the wood things in the bottom..... it is an old butter churn. The 2 half pieces go on top and the wood churn handle would stick out. Too bad you did not get the handle. People like them old churns
Wow ! Great finds you got:) Be interesting to see what ya do with all of that. Chickie , You will have it made over and sold in no time. Looking forward to watching you work your magic! God Bless. Hugs, Rebekah
Wow! what a great haul, so many awesome things. I can't choose a favorite, but the green lid stem pieces is awesome! Love the tool box that Chris found.
If you ask me it was a great haul. Childhood flashbacks 😁. Chris got a box of great finds also. I can't name just one thing on this one. Y'all did really good I think. ❤
Yvonne, the little hen in the basket with the tiny spoon is a salt server. Back in the day, each place setting had it's own server. Quite a find! ❤️
Thanks for the info!
A few hours late.... I figured it was chicken coke spoon LOL , I old, but a salt spoon make more sense. LOL.
@@lisacatherineoblsb😂
I think Canterbury cottage would love those strawberry trinkets boxes. The pearl neclace head is for making a pin cushion for your hat pins.
Thank you ❤
Chris is the CEO....carry everything out!!

Lots of good stuff! Happy to hear you take to auction or donate the unwanted stuff instead of throwing it in the dumpster.
Absolutely!! No going to the landfill

Wiesbaden -- on the book stand is a city in Germany
I recently went to an Estate sale and found about 30 vintage Christmas cards in their mailed envelopes post marked from 1946 - 1949.
Oh.. nice score ❤

I thought you would like the metal bunny mold. I'm glad you got it. Watching this was as fun as Christmas morning. You must have been tired that day.
I got one of the small planters, with fresh flowers, when I was in the hospital, back in the late 50's or early 60's, from sm aunt, I thought I was so special
Thanks for the memory.❤
The Asian doll was special to me. Back in the day,my Uncle, a GunnerySgt in the Marines, sent me a doll like her from VN.

The Green planter with CP US could be Camark Pottery. Made in Camden, AR. They are closed now.
LOVE the cubby box and bunny molds! Great job!!
Gulf wax can be made into candles or seal jars with it. It is paraffin.

We used to call them "head of Francis" but don't know if that is true.
Glad you’re back. I was in with drawl… lol

Anything with Mr. Peanut (planter's peanuts) are collectables because they don't use him anymore

Was the butter press inside a large thimble?
Yes it was.. a souvenir piece
