Best shootout yet. I like how you explained the problems for each bike and the positives.
No it was not, look at vital mx shoot out, the best yet. This one did a horrible edit, and did not do correct bike placement, for instance, I like kawi, but the Honda totally beat it by a far amount. Kawi changed a good amount. But he Honda beat the hp, and they changed and redesigned the whole look. This isn't the best.
How do you have poor suspension but superb handling?
the geometry of the bike is the handling and the suspension just gets you there without bruising those kidneys.
The bright side of poor suspension, you could pass a kidney stone after the bike bottomed out the whole time.
Shelby Paget it's a lot easier to revalve and change springs than it is to change fundamental things like geometry. Buy a bike that turns and spend some coin on the suspension.

Great job on the shootout and on the video! It was fun to watch all the five riders following the same lines and throwing identical whips and scrubs.
Not sure though how with the 2nd most HP and a great ability to put that power to the ground the Honda cold also have a flat top and (whatever you said I couldn't quite get it) not so good bottom and mid-range. Please explain.

Its all on personal preference, how experienced of a rider you are and style of riding. I grew up riding Yamahas and Kawi's but was mainly track until I hit the 125 class. After that we raced desert and had a RM 125 then moved on to a YZ250. After that I bought a YZF450 and now have a 2016 KTM 500 exc and do more best of the desert races and the LABTV. I can say I've rode other bikes in comparison and for what I felt comfortable on is what I owned. Who gives a shit if a 10 min video is biased, its they're video and if people want to bitch and moan then make your own. Just shut up and ride BRRAAAAP!!

Bryce Hunter I own both a cr 450f and a yz450f and I can honestly say the Honda is alot better. It feels as light as a 250f but has alot more power than past years. The bike would have been my first pick out of all the bikes

The Honda is way lighter that's the only thing I like about it more.

No one out there is 100% its just part of the sport. Well see whats up in just a few days. Im not a Dungey fan im a 41 fan but there are to many people counting Dungey out when he has killed Kenny the past 2 years.

Till he ended up on the dirt. With as good as Dungey is going down and getting a DNF inst a option. He couldnt make it 3 10 lap races with out hitting the dirt. Kenny is the fastest guy out right now but he isnt a 17rd podium guy.

It was the same design as the RMZ, KXF must have stronger seals then the Rmz. Over all air forks were terrible. Only ride so long till seal blows. Both kx and rmz alway same issue in my shop blown seals

I don't understand how the forks can be bad on the Suzuki but they're good on the Kawasaki. Exact same forks? Beyond me why Suzuki gets such a bad wrap.

Got to watch Vital Mx review unbiased. There has been years where i swear the bike that wins is trash but it still wins. This place is biased i swear. Honda is better than Kawi are you fukn kidding its 3rd and Ktm and Husky is a toss up but Husky is slightly better not as agressive on the power easier to ride

Setting the KTM in soft map on the bars fixes any hard hit

Dude all the bikes are close. Well the jab bike's are anyway! The Ktm/husky's, well there at a totally different level. They really should have there own review. Just saying! Go orange or go white if you can afford it. But If your on a budget go jab. Yell still be happy. :)

I'm not too convinced the differences are big enough to say any of these bikes are clearly superior or inferior. Honda own the MXGP title and Yamaha owned it the year before. Nobody races a bone stock bike so with some suspension work and a pipe the Honda might be the best? It does have A kit suspension, which obviously just needs the valving tweaked a bit. They're all really good bikes and a look at national level racing around the world is all you need to know that any one of them can win titles. Except maybe the yellow one 😂

I have to say the kx450f was the most uncomfortable bike I ever sat on. I got on a 2014 rmz250f and thought it was the most comfortable bike ever. And I usually hate suzuki

@@ThatcherKSA Actually the KTM was only $1,300 more than the Honda & Yamaha when I went shopping for a new 450. When you look at what the KTM comes with stock such as the ODI lock on grips , A60 Excel rims , a hydraulic clutch , CNC machined triple clamps , CNC machined hubs , Brembo brakes , electric start , 2 stage on the fly map settings mounted on the handle bar's , on the fly traction control & launch control. If you were to buy those upgrades for the Honda & Yamaha it would cost way more than $1,300 ! The KTM is the lightest bike in the class with the most horsepower too ! I rode Honda's for 15yrs but after checking out the KTM I had to make the switch. It's now 3yrs later & I couldn't be happier with making that decision ! The KTM 450 is by far the best bike I've ever rode ! Oh yeah , something none of the shootouts ever talk about & that's 5th gear top speed ! The Jap bike's all have around the same top speed at 85 - 90mph , the KTM's top speed is 125mph !!
I'm a Yamaha guy but truth be told ktm is all around the best and of course husky is to because ktm makes them now but they are just expensive to up keep and maintain but ktm dominates the 4 stoke and 2 stroke world

Hondarider21 they don't pay the magazine editors. they just happen to make the lightest, fastest, best bike in the class. I'm sorry that you can't deal with the fact that your Honda lost. European brands just listen to what the riders want and they make changes. Japanese brands make what they want. Suzuki doesn't even change their bikes.
KTM is trash... yes they are a very durable bike, hard hitting and tough. As far as the suspension goes it is unbelievable how they rate that. Ktms are the most expensive bike on the market and if your a descent rider you instantly have to re valve the front forks and rear suspension(dumping another 2k into suspension on an already 11k bike) Sorry guys I sold my KTM sxf450 factory edition to buy a yami!!!!
