This is very very false and another scapegoat answer for the other manufacturers. They have posted extended videos, explaining that. Yes there are other bikes that you can add for example, a sprocket to or a pipe, too, or some thing and it can become better, if you ride, you should know better and should know that any bike is great. Previous years Austrian bikes won the shootouts because they had the most horsepower hydraulic clutch etc. Now kawasaki have the most horsepower, is the most stable bike, reliable with KYB suspension ( much better than WP) and it came forth because MXA decided that suddenly kx250 is a bad turning bike!!!!! By the way its the only magazine who says that . All the other magazines says the opposite. MXA thanks again for the "unbiased" shootout
KX has a stiff fork - just because it's kyb doesn't mean the "setting" is desireable. Kawasaki decides what valving combo the bike comes with. Additionally - the chassis plays a big role in felt stiffness - the kx gives more feedback than the yamaha chassis does - in exchange for what I feel is better trust of the stability. I think if they did a "mod bike" shootout - with say 5k budget - it could be really interesting. Pipe, clamps, suspension and some minor motor work would be about that budget. All the bikes would get a lot closer as the slower ones respond bigger to work than the faster ones.
By “as always” did you mean “different to just last year”…? Yamaha was 3rd last year and the Suzuki comes last in literally every shootout because it hasn’t been updated in forever. Would you rather they just pick names out of a hat rather than giving actual opinions (which many others around the world seem to agree with)?
Yep.. and the fact the crap he said about Yamaha no other channel has said those things.. plus Yamaha has the bike at all zeros once you put hard hitting or other tunes that bike comes on hard and more hp. Moranz said the yz is flat out awesome. Hp, cornering, suspension and so on..
@@bertbroeder1832 he’s getting at the fact the guy mainly always picks KTM even when it has worse traits than other bikes. i never take these guys reviews seriously, i’m pretty sure they are ktm group biased, there results are always opposite to any other platforms review. which are normally pretty inline with each other
Every single one of this guy’s shoutouts are the same. Ktm husky gasgas 1 2 3. Swap always picks the kx450. Keefer will always pick Yamaha. It’s too bad the oem’s waste their money/resources on these “test riders” when they could all get together and do a traveling demo day where consumers could get an opportunity like this

i know this is kinda late, but would the gasgas be a good pick for me? Im not a pro but im not a beginner ive had dirt bikes in the passed but not rode a ton
I have ALWAYS been a yellow fan, i feel like taking kickers away from all the bikes takes out of some of the "dirtbike" feel. A kicker as a secondary just to know i can is ideal. That being said suzuki definitely needs to add e-start but keep the kicker as back up.
Kinda makes me wonder if you'd like the "trail" versions of stone of these bikes better. They (usually) have a tooth or two lower gearing and softer forks, which was pretty much your complaint for the whole bottom half of the list.
I stopped the vid on the Yamaha dyno chart and I have q's. The date and time of the tests compared to the results make me wonder if it was just a fuel/oxygen difference, bc the dyno graphs could almost pass for the same engine.

Love my Kaw ✊💪✌️😉
They will twist it. A few years back honda had most power and to this day killer handling. And the cried too much power.
Stay mad lol
@@dumbdumb572 not mad just fake news.
Pretty wild how far these 250fs have come since 2010. Stock kawi 250 in 10 was 10hp slower peaking at 34-35hp.
How smoth does a track need to be for stock wp to beat kyb?
Freshly groomed😂
So as always, its Suzuki last, and all the KTM bikes on podium :/
You like to blame KTM or MXA or Suzuki?
@@bertbroeder1832 he’s getting at the fact the guy mainly always picks KTM even when it has worse traits than other bikes. All other magazines and channels will pick something completely different and all could pick Yamaha as number one and he would still put ktm. Even when they are known to blow motors and break pistons. Subframes snap right off..
Suzuki hasn’t made an update since Travis use to compete 😂
i never take these guys reviews seriously, i’m pretty sure they are ktm group biased, there results are always opposite to any other platforms review. which are normally pretty inline with each other
What they did to Honda was a tragedy
Not true that KTM SX 2024 plastics are not available aftermarket. Both Rtech and UFO makes them and they are available to buy for at least 6 months.
Every single one of this guy’s shoutouts are the same. Ktm husky gasgas 1 2 3. Swap always picks the kx450. Keefer will always pick Yamaha. It’s too bad the oem’s waste their money/resources on these “test riders” when they could all get together and do a traveling demo day where consumers could get an opportunity like this
The BrakeTech brakes on the GasGas are not owned by Brembo. They are owned by Ferodo a division of Federal Mogul based in Italy. Most of their components are made here in the US at multiple locations.
Nice. European or American made for the win! 💯
Would love to see the new Kove, Triumph, and Ducati next year!
Sometimes i wish they would include a new KTM 250SX in these tests just for fun..
It’s weird cause I had to spend more money on the Ktm to make the suspension feel just as good as my Yamaha
KTM is the KING of offroad. They have won the most supercross & motocross championships out of any manufacturer in the last 20 years. and have dominated enduro 25 years in a row. DOMINANT 🍊💯
@@RogerT-kt3zd yeah I wish I could get $20000 in parts for free. These are stock bikes
@@chazzgonzalez1356 Austrian bikes are the best stock bikes on the market
@@RogerT-kt3zdno they’re not, they are overpriced for no reason
i know this is kinda late, but would the gasgas be a good pick for me? Im not a pro but im not a beginner ive had dirt bikes in the passed but not rode a ton
I have ALWAYS been a yellow fan, i feel like taking kickers away from all the bikes takes out of some of the "dirtbike" feel. A kicker as a secondary just to know i can is ideal. That being said suzuki definitely needs to add e-start but keep the kicker as back up.
Somebody’s sugar coating the ktm a little bit
I agree, almost biased
HONDA and SUZUKI! 😉
🤙🤘
Kinda makes me wonder if you'd like the "trail" versions of stone of these bikes better. They (usually) have a tooth or two lower gearing and softer forks, which was pretty much your complaint for the whole bottom half of the list.
Thanks for a great 250cc test, but now is there anyway you can test the new 2024 Triumph 250cc against the results of all these?
Yami still for the win, dudes trippin
Those mirrored goggles do look damn good
get that TM 2024 in there!!!!
Team orange! The 2023 redesign was great - didn't expect major changes for 2024.
Love it...🎉🎉🎉🎉
I stopped the vid on the Yamaha dyno chart and I have q's. The date and time of the tests compared to the results make me wonder if it was just a fuel/oxygen difference, bc the dyno graphs could almost pass for the same engine.
I still polish the hell out of my ports but I do two strokes and polished ports are old school lol.
Awesome video!!!
Only hate I have for Suzuki is it's price increase for no changes. Granted cheaper than the rest.
It comes with the best pro circuit pipe😂
Whats the gear ratios and sprocket teeth front and back on the bikes?
When we getting the 24-450 shoot out
KHI, Kawasaki Heavy Industries... heaviest!
2024 looking so good, 450 frame... no thanks, 45 hp won't help.
Hard job for Mitch/pro circuit in SX250 2024 again.
How is honda winning all the championships but almost in last place
Look at what Roczen has done on the worst bike in the class
Hey @mxa can't you bring a fantic to your shootouts?
Sooooooooooo... When is the 2024 Triumph being released?
RMZ is besttt😍
Hells yeah💛🤙
So which bike would you pick if you wanted to not keep it stock? Would you still go KTM or would you switch up?
Well, BEST bike stock will be the best bike modded 99% of time. If was me i'd go KTM. Their engines last longer before rebuilds as well.
@@Davido50 Yeah you are right. I never went KTM. I had a KTM 65 but that was a long time ago and the only KTM that I owned. I will give them a look. Thanks!
@@Davido50false, the mod jap bikes are definitely better. Look at how the star Yamahas perform compared to husky/ktm
KTM Has won an incredible 64 out of 81 Motos this year at loretta lynns. Pure DOMINATION. this once again proves that KTM is the best Motocross & Enduro manufacturer on the planet. KINGS 🔥👑🍊🧡💯
@@RogerT-kt3zd lmao
Suzuki is the best
Cycle news voted the YZ250 as their 1st place bike
Damn I haven’t raced, and have been out of the game since like 2008-09. Are kickstarts outdated now??
Today we review the same single cylinder dirt bikes that cost 3x more but have never change ion the last 20 years.
Crf and yz are the best of me😍😍
Wow wasn't expecting to see MXA drop the bomb on the Yamaha, I appreciate it though it seemed one sided for years

kawasaki kx and honda crf. nice
Where the Triumph??? That would of been epic to see how how it sizes up Josh!
Its not going to be into the market for a little bit.
0,7 hp down to honda but honda gets zero hate xD. cant tell me you feel that difference on a dirtbike
I’m sure you can’t tell with the Suzuki to the best
Kawasaki and Honda win the most championships, and are my top 2 picks, Honda being more reliable and robust, meaning cheaper maintenance, just my opinion
