+Brynt Holt nice I was either considering the rmz or the Ktm but they want 9000 otd for the Ktm, probably going with the rmz I love the cornering on them!
+Buzzer 9091 in terms of If I was racing then I'd be inclined to agree with you Although the 450r with the Yoshimura exhaust system is enough power if that's what you care about . But I don't race. Every time I go to the Honda store and see that bike it makes me grin and I get excited just sitting on it. Although In the next five to ten years of work & saving and more experience I'll get a KTM 300 XC-W with all the juicy add-ons but for half the price, I can afford that Honda at the end of the year.
Awesome video. I've only found one newsagent over here in Australia that always stocks Motocross Action, so I give them my business every month. You guys leave the Aussie mags absolutely for dead.
Actually, for the professional riders it does not matter because after getting the bike, the team changes everything on it. It will not be similar to the stock bike anymore.
which one of these bikes is the most reliable/durable? Which one is going to take the most abuse (with basic maintenance performed) and give the least amount of problems/ go the longest before needing expense engine rebuilds..?
definitly honda i have a honda dirtbike and a yamaha quad ive never worked on the honda the yamaha ive had to rebuild and the coil went bad on mine and my brothers both yamahas
dumb question, im thinking about getting a new rmz, but i like a bike that doesnt rely on any electricity other than a spark plug, anyway i was wondering if a hydraulic clutch need a battery to operate, if so im getting an older bike with a manual cable driven clutch
+LowEndPCGamer100 and just saying, im more acquainted with fourwheelers, thats why i dont know i have rode a cr250 and i really liked it but i want a 4 stroke
A two stroke has power band mid throttle while the four stroke has power all throughout the gear Two Stroke: has the big pipe Four Stroke: has the skinnier pipe Four Stroke: sound travels farther and it kinda sounds like a fart Two Stroke: Hi pitch kinda sounds like ringing
2 stroke, the power kind of feels like it's all in the top of the Rev range and hits hard. The delivery on a 4 stroke is more linear and easier to modulate. 2 strokes can be a handful to ride but they're a lot of fun once you get use to it. Technically, the spark plug fires on every revolution of the engine in a 2 stroke, where a four stoke it fires every second revolution.
a lot of people are liking the yamaha.... best bike out of the 6.... but nothing handles like a honda. the 17 honda will be at the top of next years shootout
Remember kids we went to the moon in the 60s in the analog age so yes bikes have changed and are built way better but dirt bikes have always been as bad ass as the rider.
I like them in order of their placements in the video: KTM, Suzuki, Kawi, Yamaha, Husky, Honda Look-wise, I'm digging that RM-that thing is sharppp. The KTM just needs better graphics imo tho-they've always been hit or miss with me. They all look badass this year tho, I don't think you could go wrong with any of these bikes
I sell kawi, husky and honda, for our pro team, hondas last the longest, kawasaki is a close second and the huskies third. We have more riders on kawasaki but honda still takes the cake. In my option, my hondas are great bikes, I've got the 2015s, looking forward to the 16's. go cycle north honda
factory bikes made ten even 15 years ago will out perform any stock bike made. they add things every year produced from a factory bike that did best in its class. these bikes are for amateur and expert riders. not pros
as long as you tear up dirt it doesn't matter what bike you ride
I just made the switch from kawis to Suzuki's and I couldn't be happier! I love the handling of the rmz. and the power ain't bad either.
Nice I'm thinking about switching from yz to Suzuki
+Tom Ryan I was really worried to switch, but I can't wait to put even more time on them. ( but I live in the NW and its cold as hell lot)
+Brynt Holt *lol*
+Brynt Holt nice I was either considering the rmz or the Ktm but they want 9000 otd for the Ktm, probably going with the rmz I love the cornering on them!
+Tom Ryan that was what I was looking at to! if you get the RMZ and you ride it message me back on this an let me know what you think!
Got my Yamaha a few weeks ago, love it!
All bikes are good, in my opinion it's just the rider preferences..
+Kylian Tgn gp well nowadays all the bikes are good compared to the 80s and even 90s
+myron yeah, but only 90's kids would remember.
+myron de faire
+myron yea thank god you didnt say early 2000 years cause some of those 2 strokes can still kick some of thses bikes asses
+Garrett Gustafson not on a pro level
That dual exhaust looks so good.
+Neil Wilkes The reason I want one
Same😂
+Buzzer 9091 in terms of If I was racing then I'd be inclined to agree with you Although the 450r with the Yoshimura exhaust system is enough power if that's what you care about . But I don't race. +Johnathan Yinger you must be living in a swamp there is 80 changes to the rmz250 engine for 2016
do you even ride dirt bikes?
I love the RMZs handling, power is nothing without handling!
Awesome video. I've only found one newsagent over here in Australia that always stocks Motocross Action, so I give them my business every month. You guys leave the Aussie mags absolutely for dead.
I would like to see lap times with each different bike with the same rider , I think that would tell a lot
Good god 44hp out of a 250f stock that's crazy
The bikes, are they the same height? Especially the Yamaha and KTM?
Can you make that from the 2017?
Actually, for the professional riders it does not matter because after getting the bike, the team changes everything on it. It will not be similar to the stock bike anymore.
need to include the Tm's!
very good video, thanks
1. KTM 2. Honda 3.Yamaha
+motocross action magazine how much hp does kx250f have ?Cheers
Well which one won!?
Should do a 125 shoot out? Yes I know not many manufacturers make them anymore but still ktm, husqavarna, yamaha?
+Kieran Ross Also Tm Racing
Yes also tm
which one of these bikes is the most reliable/durable? Which one is going to take the most abuse (with basic maintenance performed) and give the least amount of problems/ go the longest before needing expense engine rebuilds..?
the honda. those things will run forever
Yamaha
definitly honda i have a honda dirtbike and a yamaha quad ive never worked on the honda the yamaha ive had to rebuild and the coil went bad on mine and my brothers both yamahas
Honda. We've had our 2016 crf250r for almost 6 months and she's still running strong. The power is crisp and amazing.
realdipper 45 that's a quad though
For me it's:
1: Kawasaki, Yamaha
2 Honda
3:all the rest
I've only ever ridden Yamahas. but I've always been a fan of Hondas but this year i might finally pick up a Kawasaki .. why cant i make up my mind
So what one won?
this is a really good video !
So who won
What was first place
dumb question, im thinking about getting a new rmz, but i like a bike that doesnt rely on any electricity other than a spark plug, anyway i was wondering if a hydraulic clutch need a battery to operate, if so im getting an older bike with a manual cable driven clutch
+LowEndPCGamer100 and just saying, im more acquainted with fourwheelers, thats why i dont know i have rode a cr250 and i really liked it but i want a 4 stroke
+LowEndPCGamer100 no it doesn't need electricity
P.S: Go with a Yamaha, they are the best!!!!
matei olteanu yea i was debating gettin an rmz or yz or a tm mx250f
matei olteanu anyway thanks alot man really helps
+LowEndPCGamer100 get a ktm there are a ton of aftermaket parts + it has a 1 finger pull clutch

The song in the background at the beginning?
+TheTeamTRacing Randolph - Kick & Snare [FAME]
Guys i have a question. When should you get a 250f? Im 13 i weigh 80kg and is 168cm long. Im just wondering.
***** Ok thanks
+Slimey your definitely ready for a 250
I would recommend getting a 125 and getting fast enough on that bike to get ready to move up to a 250.
This song is awesome
what the name?
what is the first song name?
I like the Kawasaki and Yamaha and the ktm would be my third pick
same
What's the horse power on the Kawasaki?
It's about 44 i just bought one
what's the difference between two stroke & 4 stroke?
A two stroke has power band mid throttle while the four stroke has power all throughout the gear
Two Stroke: has the big pipe
Four Stroke: has the skinnier pipe
Four Stroke: sound travels farther and it kinda sounds like a fart
Two Stroke: Hi pitch kinda sounds like ringing
2 stroke, the power kind of feels like it's all in the top of the Rev range and hits hard. The delivery on a 4 stroke is more linear and easier to modulate. 2 strokes can be a handful to ride but they're a lot of fun once you get use to it.
Technically, the spark plug fires on every revolution of the engine in a 2 stroke, where a four stoke it fires every second revolution.
+andrewford80 The spark is on 2 strokes of the piston, and on the 4 stroke.. well its 4 strokes. Or revolutions of the crank shaft.
+C Lar there are 2 strokes per revolution. piston up, piston down.
+andrewford80 apparently you do not know engines. The starting point in bottom dead center. If you do not understand this do not reply
ending song name????
a lot of people are liking the yamaha.... best bike out of the 6.... but nothing handles like a honda. the 17 honda will be at the top of next years shootout
What is that first song? the intro song that is.
+Matthew Cooper Randolph - Kick & Snare [FAME]
Do 2 strokes without kx Cr since they don't have 2 strokes now
My list
1. Kx250
2. Yz250
I got the husky 👌
Honda Loverssss
If ktm is gonna put electric start it still needs a kicker if that decides to give out on you. Also i think the electric start should be an option
right
m1ke2001 you could jump start it by rolling the bike and letting the clutch out in gear
that must be hp from the crank, rw hp is like 33 or somthing i would assume.
Honda CRF 🔥
Song name ??
+Darmawan Anom Randolph - Kick & Snare [FAME]
suzuki rmz the best
Agreed
Bought the kawasaki
Remember kids we went to the moon in the 60s in the analog age so yes bikes have changed and are built way better but dirt bikes have always been as bad ass as the rider.
First song name
+Christian Board Randolph - Kick & Snare [FAME]
The fact that they didn't mention Electric start, makes me question the validity of this shoot out!
what mx bike has electric start?
+3BONE,NiGHTMARE,CRA$H The KTM and Husky. It makes a big difference for a short rider, like me.
2016 yz250f does not come with Dunlop tires as stated in this video.. it comes with bridgestones,, just saying
Where is ktm
And pros ride rmz
1:35 that's not a Ktm...
+JewlsRides you are right it's a kawi
yeah, it is. lol
I like them in order of their placements in the video: KTM, Suzuki, Kawi, Yamaha, Husky, Honda

You can customize your own on DeCal Works

+First Extreme they aren't sold in America dude, its been like that for a looooooonnnggg time now.....
i like kx250f
I sell kawi, husky and honda, for our pro team, hondas last the longest, kawasaki is a close second and the huskies third. We have more riders on kawasaki but honda still takes the cake. In my option, my hondas are great bikes, I've got the 2015s, looking forward to the 16's. go cycle north honda

I'm a Honda man
I don't like the plastic on the new ktm
Envoi - From a cage
Rip th27
Honda crf would be much better with a bit more pony’s
They didn't even mention the suspension switch on the rmz. Not good durability? Bullshit.
all of the motocross channels are biased... Yamaha fanboys. Suzuki haters. I think KTM is the best because they are the only ones who won the Dakar
+Tim Arnold My RMzs never gave me a single problem.
+MP422ownz Same.
Yank mags always pick out the negs with KTM and TM, give it a rest..
rmz actually are very durable . probably the most to be honest
Who can deny that, overall, this guy has a small vocabulary? xD
ktm
Basher sounds like the rich kid who got a position with MXA because his dad knew somebody. Also the music is gay. That is all.
serioulsy! turn off the stupid music.......
Dalllk
What's with this 'husq-a-varna' crap? Can't anyone just say husq-varna anymore?

factory bikes made ten even 15 years ago will out perform any stock bike made. they add things every year produced from a factory bike that did best in its class. these bikes are for amateur and expert riders. not pros
