Better than playing with my titties!!.
That’s a great merch idea
I also like moisture interlude when slug drinking
Love those sluuugs , bitches and moistenings intermissions
I’m new to your channel, and am just THRILLED our paths have crossed.
I have thought many times, (so MANY)
how wonderful a life this would be.
Thank you for sharing your experiences, your work, your LIFE! I am going to (with deep gratitude) become a part of your life as in watching and praying as you share this wonder of a life with us.
Thank you!!
I’m a simple woman. I see Tara and Slug, I click.
Same my friend, same.
Same here 😊
It is known
He he same
Me too!
Tara’s impersonation of a waddling sheep about to give birth is just what I needed to cheer up this miserable rainy Sydney night 😂
Disney I’m ready to play the mum in the live action version of Bambi 😂
You speak to the Ewe in labour with so much care and kindness. I don't care how much you swear, it's those moments that matter.
No farmer Shepard or rancher wants dead babies or dead stock and we hate our mamas suffering
'Every now and then I get a little bit lonely, so turn around' I just really love your humour 😂😂
Only an aussie farmer would use the phrase "shove your arm up their snatch" and provide a illustration diagram. Love it
For those that say farmers don’t care about their animals, watching the midwifery bit. Oof rough to watch, the gentleness you gave to the mumma.
The bad farmers won't normally post youtube videos. And the better ones, or ones that think high of themselves will. 🤷♀️
Sad the ewe and both her lambs died but raising livestock isn't all sunshine and roses. You were gentle with her both physically and verbally. Loved the diagrams, especially the last one. You: Come here. Lamb: Piss off. 🐑
Plus the look of surprise on the ewe’s face 😂
Tara, Sometimes you mention that you haven’t much for us see. Not to worry my wife and I Really Enjoy just watching, listening and being with you during your journeys. How blessed your family is to have you
Way better than the so called "reality TV" dreck.
Oh my 😂 your illustrations are too funny. If you ever write a book please add them in. Best giggle I've had today. Sorry about losing mumma ewe.
23:00 the lil tail wag typo gives after “good slug” is so cute! Great video! The medical emergencies are always super exciting. You should have a tv show, but instead of Scrubs it’s called Slugs!
This episode on Slugs (intense zoom in on Slug) 😂
@@TaraFarmslmaoooo
I had to skip back and watch her sail over the fence at 22:38 without missing a beat. Kelpies are amazing in so many ways but that was awesome to watch, clever girl
Great job with the midwifery Tara! Very supportive words of encouragement there! 💜
"Shove your arm up...mmmm slimey".
😂😂😂I LOVE your illustrations ❣️❣️❣️
One of my old fav songs, Turn around, thanks Tara I can't get it out of my head now. I guess I'll just turn around n go crazy-ier. Stay safe. The Ol' Fella Greg.💛
Just started watching your videos. I love your way of dealing with sheep. Your videos make me feel better bout calling my ewes (katahdins) little B*****s. You also make me laugh so much. 😊😂 I’m learning more about sheep from your videos to help me with my own. Thank you for sharing. ❤
Do you ever have problems with joint ill or whatever it's called here like Cammy and Sandi do? I'm guessing not so much because we have a much drier climate here in Oz. I'm glad you've got your lambing kit sorted out now. It's a shame that ewe with the stuck lamb didn't survive, but all you can do is try your best to help and hope they recover.
We do get it yes, a couple lambs a year do get it.
It's worth saying that you have remarkable skill, strength and above all, courage. I am in awe of ewe!
When is Slug going to have her own dogfood brand and/or sponsorship? Her coat always looks sleek AF.
That title is a violation lmao.
😈 that means it’s perfect! 🤌
RUclips mods don't even seem to know the difference between a "violation", and something thats just a normal part of the educational video/blog smfh.
@@rachaelm3298That's 'cause they've prob. never set foot on a farm/ranch and the closest their sensitive eyes & ears have come to the realities of life is reading pro-vegan flyers while demonstrating at a Greenpeace/ climate change rally.
‘Like or typo will check your titties!!’ 😂😂
Luv it!! Keep on the great work Tara.
My (23 yo) son is a shearer in Goulburn area, (1st gen & city born n raised boy who loved ag studies at school) great to see what happens on the other side of life for the farmer. Xx Megs
Great midwifery skills. Thank you for sharing your day.
Good on ya, Tara!
Tara, I love your relationship with your dog. And you do have a soft spot for animals in distress, especially admirable side of you.
I love watching your videos. I have always lived in a very urban environment and I have really appreciated getting insight into how sheep are farmed.
The reason I make content is so people who don’t know how farming is done, can see how! I’m glad you found the content!
I've always been amazed by the maze of pens and fencing. How it's designed without getting confused and how it's used without getting confused is beyond me😲🙂
Tara, you're amazing. Respect.
Slug would probably disagree 😂
The lambs are so freaking cute
The little clothes are so adorable
Finally more Slug moistening!
Crazy seeing Tara in winter wear lol it's like 90 today here in Texas. I know our winters are yalls summers.. ❤❤❤
You should publish a book of your illustrations -they’re hilarious and educational 🐑 📚 - Shame on RUclips for taking your funds -this is educational and feel good tv!!!
Tara you are absolute legend you should go live on RUclips or ticktok one day
When I have something to do while live I’ll eventually do it 😂 I don’t want to just sit there lol
Ohhj yass, a live would be epic, thats if shes able too. Wouldnt be easy.
That too.
Loved seeing the slug in action :-) Each week there is a new adventure. Always something new each week. Really cool looking into your medical kit. And no I do not think you need 5 gallons of lube :-)
Tara !!! Thanks for all of this one!!!
I appreciate you! Stay safe stay great and keep up the good work!!!
Thank you! You too!
Thanks
Thank you so much!!!
Tara the midwife. Lovely to see you encouraging the ewe to push. Always sad when babies/lambs are stillborn. I would work with you any day in human birth suite.
Thank you! But I’ll stick with sheep, Typo doesn’t know how to wear gowns.
Great! To hear some down to earth farm talk, cheers!
It's still snowing in Alaska! Goodluck this lambing season Tara
I've had lots of fun watching your tubes..takes me back to our west NSW......
You add spice to your videos. Love watching you work...your indispensable, what do the men do when your out working your duppa off? ♥️
Everyone has their own jobs they do and all as important as each other to get the cogs to turn! 😊
Would you be willing to do a rough drawing of the farm? I can’t figure out how far and where you are moving sheep.
I love your channel, and appreciate your Aussie personality and video work.
I can’t because it can give away my location but when we moved the Merinos in my video we only went like 500m from the paddock. The longest we’ll walk is probably 5-6km (if they walk in a straight line)
Thank you Tara 😊❤❤
I just want to say new to your channel but I absolutely love you and slug
Welcome!! Thank you so much 😊
I was getting worried that there wasn’t a video yesterday then realised it was Tuesday duh.
Can you get any more awesome Tara! Your a great sheep mum!
Hard working Team !
Slug, love the leaps!
Wow! Amazing video!!!
love
Love your videos
Good to see you use the jumbo size gloves
Tara knows what she did with the title. She was thinking of Wales 👀
Love your artist work! Hahahaha 😂
13:26thats when she finds the mama in pain while standing
I have a quick question I've been wanting to ask for a little bit.
How do you choose whitch lambs go to slaughter and witch lambs stay on for breeding purposes if you self supply at all (if that's what's it called)
Males all go, primeline ewes that have good composition will stay as restockers. All fat lambs from the first cross ewes go also.
Good stuff 🙂
I play these video's when im stuck working in a container its like therapy
Lots of babies!! 😍
Taz, looks bloody cold!
It’s getting colder, I listened to The One Straw Revolution. Very interesting to read, couldn’t imagine out planting seeds by hand and not having tractors. But I think it’s very important to work with nature rather than against it.
@@TaraFarms Hi Taz., the reason “One Straw Revolution” popped into my mind was his absolute dislike of Japanese farmers burning rice straw as opposed to using it as mulch. BUT if you finish that book and can cope with reading probably the worst written book with the greatest message for farmers, get and read a copy of “Holistic Management” by Alan Savory. I’m guessing you have read “Water for Every Farm” by P.A. Yeomans, he farmed in the Kiawa Valley in Victoria. Keep up the RUclips’s, I have family in the US, they don’t farm, but live way out in the desert on the edge of an Apache Reservation and I like to send them links to your refreshing vignettes into rural life in Oz. They visit here and I visit there occasionally.
Hey hey! Iiit's TARA🎉❤ and widdle sluggy girl.
Also.. ALL ZEE WIDDLE LAMBIES❤ coot.
Side note:
The subtle innuendo and illustrations/diagrams, always make these vids the most entertaining 😂
Also, censorship is getting worse smfh, sucks.
Too many people who think going to superstitious meeting houses (churches, synagogues, mosques, etc.) gives them the right to dictate how other people should behave. 🤪Feck 'em. 🙃They should change the channel if they don't like something and stop bothering the rest of us.
@@ssgtmole8610 ironically.. you are wrong.. (I grew up in the "church").
But I am also libertarian.
It is the left that is trying to censor everything all the time, it is just plain ignorance and intellectually dishonest to make such a narrow and short sighted remark/statement.
You ought to delete your comment, as it is just embarassing.
You see those hillsides in NZ sheep country all the time
I know, couldn’t do it!
Good morning Tara, another great Wed morning show. Really enjoy way you present your life. Quick question though. On assistance to ewe with dead lambs and other procedures I've seen you do, did you pick all that up growing up on farm or get some schooling ? You are obviously very proficient at everything you do but was curious.
Again, I look forward to my early morning visit with you and slug here in states.
Good Morning, no I haven’t done any schooling for working on the farm and with sheep. I’ve been to talks and ag shows and stuff though. They do offer Agriculture certificates here in VIC I believe they’re free at the moment for those interested. It’s a good way for those who don’t have a farm to get into the industry.
Interesting knit hat! 👍Very nice. 😊
Thank you! Cheers!
Typo is a beautiful Kelpie
Good video, you are in for a busy time with lambing. A couple of times you have pointed out shedders in the mob. Given the cost of shearing are you actively promoting or discouraging the breeding of shedders in future. I have a neighbour who has developed a mob of about 280 Dorpers ( about 3% of his ewes) . They look good but he says there have been a few management issues.
We’re impartial to them, we are encouraging no wool around their bums so they don’t need to be crutched. We heard from studs that full shedders are apparently having problems with consistent cycling at the moment which is why we not actively trying to breed it in.
Why does Typo always look so guilty when you're talking to her?😂
Idk I say it’s cause she’s a sketchy bitch 😂 got to hide her contraband.
But seriously tho I think it’s just because she’s a quiet, anxious and submissive dog.
😂😂😂@@TaraFarms
Nice touque!
I am NOT one of those Critics! My heart breaks for Elsa! What has broken her? Moisés and our Team are doing, and WILL do whatever is best for Elsa. SAUSAGES? If she will NOT take food, then food reinforcement won't work.
❤️🐾👵🐾❤️
Look cold over there.
It's starting to get a bit more wintery!
Hey Tara, could you make a video about all your pet animals? It makes an animal lover to both work with animals and have them just for kicks :)
They’re not that exciting, I just have 26 pet sheep who look like sheep, the dogs and a cat who hates me lol. They appear more in members videos.
A girl hopping over a fence is still very painful if done wrong lol 😂❤😂❤
Damn you still have Kmart?!? All the Kmart in my state (USA) went out of business. I haven't seen one is 10 years! I kinda miss them to be honest.
I think it’s a different Kmart to what was in the US. It’s very popular here, a lot like Target but without the food/groceries.
All hail mothers and don't forget Mothers Day!
Omg the drawings I cant stop laughing.
I need to get into sheep. I’m a retired soldier and having difficulty with people lol
Bugger. 😢 Farm life happens, though sadly.
Quick question, how late would you shear sheep? Coming into winter I'm just curious as I've seen shorn ewes with lambs last week here in NE Vic (start of May)
Can I see that waddle again? Lol. You rock.
that title\thumbnail combo really made me do a double take 💀
maybe ask people who make dult movies where they get the lube pump dispenser. im sure those might be helpful bc you dont have to twist it open but can get stuff out without grabbing it with dirty gloves
What a title 😂💪🏻
Wow, Dewalt makes a lamb box? Versatile brand 😆
Could be a lunch box too if you were really hungry! 😂
So pretty view i wish i'd live there btw new sub
Thank you so much!
@@TaraFarms ur welcome
Lol, I got confused from the title and thumbnail…. And for a second I forgot your dog’s name and thought it was “Lube” but alas I quickly remembered it was “Slug.”
The fun part of this was thinking that “lube and slug” are fairly similar descriptions. Lol. What a laugh!
Ok, just heard that this pup is Tupper! Oh well. Thanks for the show.
😂😂😂 New nickname for Slug? Dog’s actual name is Typo, some people do get confused with the accent.
Oooh, right, Typo!
Idk, but I think some critter needs the name *Lube. Your naming style is inspiring.
In my tiny flock, I named a ram *Carl,* from the Walking Dead tv series.
It really is very different lambing inside vs. outside. Inside is definitely a lot more work but I’m not sure about the mortality rate of the two types of farming.
Unfortunate you lost both lambs and that ewe!
Thanks for showing us the ropes.
🙏🙌✝️❤️
"Bad news, ladies"
I would love to know how to make a lamb coat! Are you able to show ?
I don’t really know I’m not a good knitter, but if there’s RUclips tutorials on how to knit and crochet them, lamb care Australia also has a free knitting pattern of them if you know how to knit. 😊
Soy de México, no entiendo tu idioma, pero me caes bien :)
Gracias, yo agradezco que veas.
How many sheep do you usually loose a year
What ever happened to those black sheep?
😂❤
That is what she said.
We milk 1600 hundred cows in Michigan
We also own 1700 acres and rent another 1000 or so. All to grow feed for the cows
How do you deal with the foxes?
Can you tell me where to get the pattern for the lamb coats. I would love to make some but i need a pattern lol
I don’t really have a pattern but I saw lamb care Australia has one if you Google, ‘lamb coat knitting pattern’ 😊
19:00
"Not that I make very much." All the more reason to avoid getting demonetized.
Does Slugs not chase away the foxes
No, we don’t encourage our sheep dogs to chase anything that’s not sheep because they might piss off while you’re moving sheep to chase a rabbit or something.
@@TaraFarms thanks for your answer that is a very good explanation I had not thought of that
I was wondering did they not turtle as much this year ?
We've only started lambing, the turtles haven't started yet but I don't think they should turtle as much this year because we've been able to manage their feed intake throughout their entire pregnancy this time.
What is the grain poison from?
Wheat, if you wanted to see more about that it’s on the too early emergency rescue video
Hi Tara, what happens to the stillborn lambs?
All our dead livestock are buried or cremated.
@@TaraFarms Aww ❤️
