- We begin by making our rounds, ensuring the well-being of our ewes and their adorable lambs. Along the way, we encounter two ewes who have gone down after lambing. With care and determination, we lend them a helping hand, assisting them in standing up and regaining their strength.
Next, we turn our attention to an essential aspect of livestock care-creating mineral blocks. Join us as we prepare these valuable supplements, packed with essential nutrients to support the health and vitality of our flock.
In an unexpected turn of events, we face car troubles as our vehicle breaks down. Undeterred by the setback, we embark on the task of loading the broken car onto a trailer, determined to find a solution and keep our farm operations running smoothly.
As the day progresses, we shift our focus to marking the lambs. Witness the process as we carefully and thoughtfully identify the lambs for future tracking and management purposes. It's an important step in ensuring their individual care and tracking their progress as they grow.
Join us on this eventful farm journey, filled with moments of care, resilience, and a touch of problem-solving. Don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe to our channel for more captivating farm vlogs and to stay updated on our farm adventures.

Honestly, using the vlog as your own checklist and a way of keeping track/reminding yourself if you did or didn't do the thing is SUCH a good idea
My boyfriend films for OCD, too! He has a lot of anxiety around the heater being left on, the door unlocked, etc when he leaves for work so he films a walkthrough of the house for him to look back at later and reassure himself that everything is off/secure.
"Did I turn off the water spicket?" That kills me every time.
"spigot."
It's in the dictionary.
Also insessent is me combining insistant & excessive... I think 😂 not the product of something else...
Thank you for watching! Go back up and like the video please 🥺
Paris video coming out Sunday.
Do you have any questions about me or the farm or Typo or something else? I want to answer them in some shorts. 😊
I would love to have a video where you go over the specifics of what's in the mic
Hi Tara 😊 let me goin in your farm 😢😅
I may not farm but I know my crochet and for a first toy, that whale is incredible!
I have rather intrusive OCD so I can relate to how relieving it would be to have a video of anything I was obsessing over to see if I did the thing.
I have an ocd anxiety thing about leaving tools behind at work and leaving water running lol I can relate for sure
Hi!! I’m new to your channel, suggested by sheepishly me; Sandi Brock in Canada. I’m loving how candid you are-those haters are merely insignificant, insecure bullies. I’m now spending way too much time on RUclips now 🐑😂 (time well spent)
So, what prompted me to comment was how impressed I am with your body mechanics, lifting with your legs and such. As an RN, I used to teach it so I recognize those things. 👍🏼 It’s been great beginning to know you, be happy, stay healthy and always be you. 💕
I have OCD and I've been watching your videos as a way to decompress. I have social based OCD the hardest, so watching you mostly alone and doing repetition-type work is very soothing for me. Most of my intrusive thoughts are just regular interactions, but because I can't double check it physically, my brain still tries to do it anyway. Thanks for posting these videos and showing what true OCD anxieties look like.
Edit: Also, I love the whale!!
I was gonna comment, "Wow, Typo has healed up fast, back out working!" Then I was like, wait it's cold, lambing, when was this vid made!? Oh, 5 months ago, silly YT telling me it's, "new."
plot twist in your life, you always closed the gates but someone else left it open after
Hahaha omg “do you want to tell us the story of wtf happened here” hahaha I’m using that
you inspired me to start doing braids daily to keep my curly hair at bay.
If you are unsure about a gate being closed it can be adhd. Ad both distracted and not focusing on such a simple action can not let you remember. I have so much on my mind that i forget I closed a door. This is not ocd because I don’t think something special will happen if it’s not closed. Just someone will nick my computer. I sometimes take a picture, other time I just lock the door, put hand on it and say I have locked the door. Your are completely normal.
Do you guys wake up and have a morning meeting? How do you know what to do every day and what everyone else is up too?
I just love your vlogs! You always make me laugh and get in a good mood. Thk god you have so many videos I can keep watching and ones I haven’t seen!
Very admirable job. ...❤this channel
I also have OCD and have recently taken up crochet LOL
Rockin the winter gear again should have your own line at Kmart the young farmer /environmentalist line 😂
Also I can fully relate anxiety mild paranoia over analyse everything that's me also I need to know all outcomes before doing or attempting anything I swear I'm a mess 😅
Got to in these conditions, walking about in 2 degrees with hands up bits and pieces! 😂
@@TaraFarms yes the stylish life of a farmer fondling udders 🤣
Love the attitude and love the language. Go girl
‘Eating shit’ would have made good content! 😂 but glad you stayed upright.
It definitely would have, would prefer it at the end of the day though 😂
Was loving your videos and now I find out you crochet 😊 looking forward to more
i swear you're grackle's long lost, trans continental twin
I seem to remember that as a kid I was only trusted to put the rubber rings on tails. That may have been after messing up the other operation on at least one ram lamb.😂
I remember doing it when I was little I got to refill the tagger.
Love your videos so much 🫶🇮🇳
Hello, Sweetheart, You a hard worker, and so caring ❤, Much love
Enjoy your vids! A chance to remember my farm days.
She built well
I love your farm and vlog
Can you please leave the text on longer than a split second? Some of us are slow readers 😂
Maybe a quick talk on fly strike as I know people who don't get why the tails need to be shortened. I don't know enough to explain it well.
Good idea! Thank you :)
Geeze didn’t realise you get as cold there as here in the uk 🇬🇧
Nice job on the whale ! I love the little cuts of random things haha😂
❤
Yay I’m not the only one who has flooded paddocks😂
Yeah it's quite wet out here! Can't get into any of the crops to spray so looking at having to get a plane.
@@TaraFarms haha
I take pictures of my stove top everytime I leave the house so I can double check I've turned off the stove.
I got jumpscared when 'liam' popped up because it'd my name 😂. Love the vlogs, though keep it up! ❤
Just found your channel Tara...great!!
Learn the clove hitch knot. Always helped me w the horses.
Thanks!
Oh wow! Thank you so much! I missed this comment but this is the biggest super thanks I've ever got!!!
That is the best OCD hack ever !!! Thank you. I cant imagine not knowing if you closed it and wanting to recheck but its too far away
You didn't seem surprised that all 3 of those lambs were dead, and I was wondering why? Is that more common with triplets? I like seeing the realities of farming even though it's sad some days. Thanks for sharing.
😂❤
It's great that you crochet. I do too. What do you do with your wool after shearing ? Glad that you found something to help you with your OCD and anxiety.
🐑
lol yes you are
I double check my front door everytime
Glad to see you back in Aus.. Back to real life, after all the bs over the other side of the world.
Tap the gates 3 times with something that makes a loud noise after you close it. It stays in your mind. Try it.
I do the same thing, works well.👍
What happened next? What do you do with the dry sheep? Are they culled or put with rams?
I know this is an older vid but my sibling has OCD and gates are a huge thing - we use the same trick. Tack a photo of it.
I’ve gone back to my front door three times before now to check I’ve shut it. 😅
Tara ? Why not cattle .looks like a serious job much Respect 💪💪😎
Awh, poor mamas
I'd like to work like your job..that's my dream
7:54 is that a freight train trailer?
Can you tell us the mineral mix “recipe” 😅
Love the lamb tree 🤣 how convenient!
It's a bit of everything until it looks good/dry enough 😂
what do you call the hat you wear? I just wanna know if it's called the same has it's here, where I live, in Quebec, Canada.
Would a gate belt help?
I have anxiety and I film myself doing literally anything, eating, drinking, taking meds, turning off curling iron
Do you find that helps?
Joey Ramone (RIP), of The Ramones had serious OCD and left his apartment in the middle of the night to check a studio door during a blizzard in NYC. Probably in his sneakers. He slipped and fell of course. Busted his hip while he was fighting cancer. He died soon after. I have a friend with it but he is in complete denial. It has ruled and limited his entire life. He's in his 60s now. He will die a virgin with no experience of a loving partner. It is thought to be a response/defence from early childhood trauma. Much like narcissism, Complex (aka Childhood) PTSD and borderline personality disorder. Have a decent day anyway.
Destroyer of men😂 you might come across 1 or 2 worth saving setem aside for me if you dont wantem fingers crossed.
way too happy in the thumbnail if that tool is what i think it is for 😅
😂 that's exactly what it's for
@@TaraFarms 😨
Hey Tara, what time do you wake up?
Is Liam your husband?
Why did you walk thru the mud to the car/fence anyway? (Probably camera angle) You had plenty of grass to make it to the fence, open it and wipe your boots and walk back in the grass…even tho you need to hose the farm car out anyway…
Thank youfor blacking out the dead lambs.
why these sheep look very sick cant stand? Is that because its Winter time its too cold for them
When ewes have complicated births they can be weakened from it or sore so they don't want to get up. When they stay down for a long period of time they can become unbalanced and then will die if they're not gotten back up. Really cold winter nights also aren't great for them but it's not too bad here most nights.
@@TaraFarms thanks Tara
Nice video, however your title - I am sure is meant to be funny - not the time to humanize the stock. Those lines of comments&statements always comes off as a little unhinged/sicko. Rather similar to taking pleasure/finding fun in the AI process. Which I really don’t pickup from your actual general content.
I don't get the title at all.
She is destroying the ‘manhood’ of the lambs…
The bands she is installing grip very tightly and cause everything beyond the band to slowly die and rot off.
@@8.6GivenAdqVacSysm I thought they were just doing tails. I missed that entirely. Did they do the castrating at the same time?
I came across a field of lambs 8in a walk once. There was a lot of noise, they sounded distressed and there was blood running down their legs. I'm not sure what the farmer had done (tails? Castration?) but bands sounds a whole lot nicer.
@@lorryr255 bands are pretty common for large herds. It’s faster for the farmer and you don’t have stitches/bleeding issues to worry about much. And supposed to be less painful.
