    You are making my days with these videos!
    Serious feedback though: when you make a video demo and have a free pattern it encourages me to pop on over and buy the yarn to make the pattern that same day (definitely respect charging for it after a bit, but I snap up the pattern and then add it to my to knit list if in-impulsive me decides it is something I will actually wear). Your patterns are very user friendly, as a semi new knitter I have found there are some creators I just can not follow....so props to you for the videos because they give me that "oh, I can totally do that" feeling.

    I am loving your tutorials. I'm a left handed crocheter and have been knitting now for several months. I found knitting so difficult until I came across your channel. Thank you lovely lady for all you do....and for the gorgeous yarn you supply.

I got the free pattern when U offered it for free and I just could not figure how to follow the graph or the written instructions, r they different??? Also I have one question before we start on row one and after casting the 65sts do we do the set up rows first then start where u start here on the tutorial. Thank you again this helps me more to understand the written pattern.. I’m a beginner when it comes to pattern reading and knitting!!!

    • @ExpressionFiberArts
      @ExpressionFiberArts  4 года назад

      You are very welcome! The graph and written instructions should be the same. Yes, work the setup rows, which would be rows 1 and 2 3 times. This would give you a total of 6 rows. I hope this is clear enough. Happy knitting!

    I started this pattern about six weeks ago. I co consider myself advanced beginner- but I really struggled in the beginning had to keep ripping out rows because I was losing stitches- I finally just had to re write directions and put markers in strategic places after the pattern in middle. I thought of you each time I did P3 together- you said it was just magical-I usually had other words other than magical 😨. But it’s measuring about 30 inches now so I’m about half way through- it’s looking fantastic. Had a question about blocking- will it get wider. Pattern says it’s 13.25 - but mine is almost 16” now. Which I thought was small. Took me awhile to see that in pattern since I was focused on the main pattern of stitches.

    • @ExpressionFiberArts
      @ExpressionFiberArts  4 года назад

      It might be larger depending on how aggressively you block it. I'm so glad you were able to figure out the pattern and that it is looking fantastic. ❤️

    • @ExpressionFiberArts
      @ExpressionFiberArts  2 года назад +1

      I generally recommend blocking all of your hand-knitted items because it will really make the pattern design pop and open up the piece. For a synthetic-natural blend, I'd recommend wet blocking your wrap. Soak it in lukewarm water for about 20 minutes with a soak wash, and then press the excess water out with a towel before pinning it to dry.
