I was wanting a fireplace in our room and this was perfect. Super easy to install and easy to follow directions. My children love changing the colors on it as well.
Post a video, I'm seriously considering getting one as well I'd love to see one in a home setting.
Looks amazing! Bought it today. Can’t wait to see it installed! Thank you for making my decision easy!
Do you have it yet? How does it heat?
yes what is your feedback
Another great video. I work for a fireplace company in California and send my clients your videos all of the time. Thanks for all the content, keep it up!
Thanks for watching!
Trevor your reviews are the best in the industry! It is so helpful. I told Modern Flames they should hire you as a consultant and at least link your videos for some real explanation as their website is a little lacking in my opinion. Kudos to you and your crew!
Wow you guys really are dominating the seaarch results for fireplaces lol super informative and even when I see other youtube channels I'll keep scrolling til I get to yours. Brava!
Thats the goal! That is actually great to hear. Appreciate the comment!
man this fireplace has me hyped
you got that right!
Definitely interested in a traditional version now !!
nice!
Great video - thanks! How does the heat work on the orion multi? In particular, where does it come out and can you mount a TV directly above it, or do you need some type of venting / protection like you do for gas fireplaces? Thanks!
I believe ther is a vdnt on the top where the heat come from. You should be able to put a TV above. Please visit our website Embersliving.com or call the store : (303) 800-5659
Not sure why people are commenting on Trevor's fashion, I think he's adorable!
I was super hyped on this fireplace after watching this video. I went to see it in a showroom (not Ember's, sorry I'm in California) I could not get past how reflective the front piece of glass is, it just seemed like a mirror to me. This is the most realistic flame I've seen, but anything that can be done about the mirrored glass front?? Thanks!
Thanks Sherry!
Maybe they will offer a screen in the future to hide the reflection of the front glass
Looks good
I just wanted to know what is the info of that freestanding stove behind you on this video
its the amantii
Awesome video! Would you chose this over the evonic fire halo 1800? They have close price points.
no way, this all day
I am in Canada. This is going into my house. I want the wide one, highest heating wattage one they have on 220V/1Ph
100"
Hi very nace firme place, I’m looking for n electric fireplace for my home and I found your video, it is something better now? October 2023
This is still one of th best. You can watch our top 5 electric fireplaces here : Top 5 Linear Electric Fireplaces Review - ruclips.net/video/FLUgwyQbBMI/видео.html
Does the heater have like 3-6 levels of heat or one heat setting only? Is the heat setting(s) loud on 115V (how about 220V?)
its not loud no. same noise coming out of 220 and I will have to check on the settings
Hello;). need to order an electric fireplace by like yesterday! in-between dimples bold xl or Orion or Linna any advice? Orion is such a steep price is bold xl a good choice?
so sorry for the delay, you cant go wrong with either one, we have both in stock right now, give us a call to discuss!
God looking elektric fireplace I own the kalfire e one this Thing is so wild you should check it out. But it is expensive. But of you like to see the most realistic elektric fireplace check out the flameelusion this is so sick!! Get both in store and make a review people will be sold!
good to know
What is the view like from the side? Trying to do decide if we want to take advantage of the multi view or just install it with a front view. We ordered for a new build, but have to decide install now.
Did you ever get an answer to this? I am in the same situation.
Does this one or the Modern Flames Redstone use infrared heat? I’d like to hear more about how the electric fireplace inserts heat the space please. Thank you!
You can check the details of the red stone here : blazingembers.com/modern-flames-54-redstone-electric-fireplace/
@@embersliving No, I’m asking how it HEATS the space. No one has shared how effective a heater it actually is, so that’s why I’m asking. I know the stats, now I want to know how it feels.
How does the 220V heater compare to the Iginte XL Bold?
we will be doing a side by side, both are ceramic heaters, so great, but the ignite I believe will be slightly quieter
Like everything about it except that tinted glass. Can you see the logs and ember bed glass, pebbles etc when the unit is turned off? Also not crazy about price. You should do a review of Latitude Series by Lite Deer Homes. Flame is very, very similar to Orion without all the bells and whistles. Love all your reviews!
good to know
@@embersliving he’s right Trevor. I just checked the Latitude II by litedeer on RUclips. Looks the most realistic next to this one.
I was told that this doesn’t put out more heat than a hair dryer. What is the heat on the 220 like and how loud is the heater?
The heater is good. We have another video going over this more coming out next week
Have you previewed the slim over the multi? Due to the style of built in I want I’m leaning slim but am wondering what all I loose if anything?
Same flames, face isn’t quite as clean face and logs are a little slimmer, but that’s it
How about an outdoor covered patio installation.
We will be reviewing Trevors out door patio in october
Does it have Alexa integration like I’m seeing w some other units?
yes
Have there been any new flame patterns released since this video was created?
I dont think so
Is the flame movement completely smooth or choppy with a drop in FPS? I can't tell if this is an artifact/sync issue from taking a "video of a video" or if the unit needs more processing power to render the video smoother. I see what appears to be a judder movement in the flame in your video. I'm seriously considering this unit over the igniteXL Bold but the tech has me a little concerned.
so it is choppy right when you change the flame itself and then it goes away
@@embersliving I notice it most at the tips of the flames as they start to disappear. Sure wish there was a showroom nearby so I could see it for myself. Where are all the dealers/showrooms in the Pacific Northwest?? There's a huge void on their map for anything US west.
The fireplace in the wall on the right with logs looks better. Going to have to hunt down that models name
thats the European home Linnea
Is there a recommended distance between furniture and electric fireplace?
no, the heat is not substantial enough
How does this compare to the lite deer electric fireplaces?
im not sure about that one but this is top of the line
Can the orion be plugged into a 110 outlet or does it need to be hardwired?
Depends if outlet is accessible
@@embersliving the outlet is accessible
What is the price for this one or the slim?
they are on our website, www.embersliving.com
Are these all rectangular, or do they offer square ones?
They are working on making a traditional version
Any word as to when the traditional square style will be out?@@embersliving
@@msop04 not yet
The traditional ones just came out as of May 2023
I personally like the flame better in the European Home Linnea unit.
we have had a handful of people say that
Are there any additional log sets coming out?
I’m sure there will be
@@embersliving thanks appreciate the great reviews as always!
@@blainesheldon8699 yup!
Bought the Orion 52" built in a few days ago. I fired it up tonight and I'm super DISSAPOINTED. :\ the background appears to be TWO separate screens side by side. There is a VERY obvious black line in the middle of the two, and is VERY visible from all angles. The black background of the flames is pretty gray and washed out. I sent the company an email tonight, so let's see what they say (***I did NOT purchase this from Embers Fireplace, just to be clear, but you guys are the best online spot for ALL things fireplace-review related). I hope they don't hit me with "that's normal"... I've seen units $4k cheaper with crisper black colors. Anyone else have this issue?
Thank you for honest opinion on the fireplace. There are two screens like you said.
@@embersliving total bummer. Company just responded and said that's "normal" in "low light". Sending this thing back... If anyone wants pictures/video before they buy, let me know and I'll send them to you.
Thanks for the feedback on your Orion. There is not a lot of reviews from real world users, so yours is appreciated. That's certainly disappointing to hear. Kinda makes sense that the LCD technology used would lead to less than stellar blacks. Would love to see pics.
@@davidbenavidez6286 Hi David, we were about to buy this thing and just read your comment :/ would you mind sharing the pictures or video of the issue ? Thank you!
@@qcezard Sure. Is there a good way to get me a working e-mail address where I can send them?
There's one thing I see that it can't do. This one can't be a two-sided fireplace, right? It has to use the reflection. That's the reason I keep going back to the Opti-Myst, because I want a see-thru one. I like the height of this one better, though.
yes that is true, just the opti myst can do that
looks like some bugs in the app. amazing fireplace! price to match though
Yes I agree
I want heat! -)
this has it
you were so mean to the poor guy 🤣
haha
Hold up. Isn't Trevor wearing the same khakis? (or was that the joke?)
Haha. The old video was khaki denim, but yeah I must have a thing for them ha
All of them suck except the water vapor one.
This one is our #1 !!
Missing Traditional shape.
Yes, for now.
SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!!!
lol call us anytime 🤣
😂 one question, it this compatible with the mantle set that is available for the other modern flames fireplace? id love to get one of these with that mantle set and not have to build out the wall.
I don't see any flames , only light.
the tech is awesome!!
@@embersliving
I don't care much about the technology.
I care about the result and that is disappointing me.
Bit the Kalfire is awesome and I want to buy it.
I thought we were dead set on the Optimyst firebox, but this looks really good. Bigger viewing area and updates to flames - whaaaat??!! 😃 Price is a little steep, but worth it if the flame actually looks real… which is what keeps me going back to the Optimyst. Would you *please* do a side by side comparison with the Optimyst? 🫶🏻
we are waiting for the new one still, and then we will do a video of them
In person, this looks like a flat screen television: no depth, obvious video. See in person before buying because it's very expensive for what you get. Other brands are far more realistic looking.
Hi Kelly, we just reviewed the new NetZero KalFire E one you should check out. It's really similar to this, but you get the depth youre looking for. Here is the link if you want to watch it : ruclips.net/video/T1cTZ5M6HRM/видео.html
Best I've seen in person are British Fire New Forest Electric and Valor LEX. There is a new version of LEX with adjustable flame speed. The one I saw was equal to British Fire except that it had a somewhat fast flame speed, unadjustable, which was too fast for my taste. But I saw online a newer model w/adjustable flame speed. They both looked like real fireplaces. However, 3-sided fireplaces look best w/sides closed - or don't expect the side view to be the same as the front view. The reason is that the flames from the side view look flat. From the front, you can't tell if these models are LED. Very realistic.
@@kellyw8017 I agree. I've compared in person Kalfire E-One, Dru Virtuo and British Fires New Forest with deluxe real logs (an optional extra for the New Forest in the UK). I was after a fire around 1800mm to 1900mm in width (approx 70 to 75 inches). In the UK that size of Kalfire costs £8.5K. The equivalent Dru cost £5.5K and the New Forest cost £3.3K. Honestly with both the Kalfire and the Dru the second I saw them they just looked like digital video of flames. The colouring seemed too bright and unnatural and there was alomst a juddery effect / refresh issue I felt with the flame motion. The flames themselves are flat even though they are projected both in front and behind the rear logs. Also such a deep bed of unlit logs in front, so the effect is way back. I found the flames of the New Forest in fact more realistic and with use of a mirror rear and actual wood logs in a campfire layout arrangment it just knocked it out the park.
Hygge Flames is better and more realistic!
cool. Checked them out, too bad theyre based in Belgium
@@embersliving exactly
per their social media team, they're like 15-20k USD. Give it 5 years an that tech will be much cheaper and more prevalent.
Is this the best fire place ?
Not et all .
This is our favorite electric fireplace.
@@embersliving
Favorite ?
Because it's sells itself so easy or because it's flames are so nice ?
In another 7 years you're going to look back and laugh at yourself for wearing those silly pants. Looks like you borrowed them out of your kid's closet. I have no fashion sense though.
