Noticing some noise from the flame rod on flame speed setting 4. Is this normal? Sounds like i can hear the rod creeaking and turning. But most noticeable on speed 4
There should be no noise from the flame rod. The fireplace has a 5-year warranty; Dimplex will take care of that squeak if you call customer service or call the dealer where you purchased. Dimplex will need your serial number.
I have a Dimplex ignite that I like a lot I’m trying to understand what the evolve brings me over that? It seems just flame, speed and Wi-Fi..?
And watching your video again I see that the flame pattern is also probably an improvement
Yes, the flame effect is new and allows for more adjustments like colour and speed; it comes with driftwood, tumbled glass and clear crystals, so there's no need to order driftwood separately; and there's a WiFi app. Both versions are great options.
Does the Ignite Evolve make a crackling sound?
No, it does not have sound effects.
