Definitely an improvement for an electric fireplace but still can’t top the more realistic look of flames of a gas fireplace in my opinion. Trevor: your customer service rep BEAU 🌸 is a total gem. Dang it, Trevor! You get me just about sold on Modern Flames Orion Slim 60, and then you show me NETZERO KALFIRE E ONE which looks even better. But the catch is, I'll have to wait to see if they start selling boxes in the 60-70 inch range. Hope they hurry up and do that, before somebody else comes to market with another tempting fireplace!
Hi Bill, Thank you for the kind words! We are actually shipping the E-one 130 (approx 39-40 inch) to the US in the upcoming months. Also, we're working on the E-one 160 and E-one 190. These models suit your needs if you're looking for a 60-70 inch model. However, we do not have a set timeline yet for if and when these models will arrive in the US. If you have any questions about the E-one range, feel free to contact us!
@@corystansbury Hi Cory, Trevor is reviewing the E-one 100F (100 cm, 39). We already have the E-one 130 in stock (130 cm, 51 inch). Also, we just launched the E-one 160 (160 cm, 63 inch) and E-one 190 (190 cm, 75 inch). So its clear we're continiously investing in the E-one and improving it even further!
I would buy this in an instant if they sold it in the traditional size. I’m crossing my fingers and toes that they do in the next 12 months. Thank you so much for the excellent review!
It’s not possible with this technology. Based on the angle of the second flame in order to make the box taller it would require the box to be 40” deep!
@@embersliving Booooo. Well, that’s disappointing. But, thank you for letting me know. The search continues- going to check out the Modern Flames Orion in a showroom. If I decide to move forward with a purchase I’ll circle back to your store. I live in Connecticut, but maybe we can make something work. Very much appreciate your videos!
I’ve been waiting for this model to come from Europe. Kalfire is actually based in the Netherlands and I even had my name on the Kalfire notification list. Prior to that, I had my eye on Opti V and Magic Flame but decided to hold out for the Kalfire E-One 100f to come to America because this one is definitely the top dog in my opinion. I’m very selective when it comes to fireplaces and waiting for Kalfire nearly a year to get a North American distribution going was definitely worth the wait. This is very exciting! I think if the other electric fire places don’t step up their game, Kalfire is going to clean up very nicely and maybe even corner the market for high end electric fireplaces. I don’t need the heater so I hope they make one without the heater for America 🇺🇸 ….why pay for something you don’t need?
So, I'm really interested in this product. I saw a Dimplex Opti-V in person and while it was very impressive, I was let down by the extreme reflexion if you are closer to the unit and the unit is on the bottom. It has to be eye level to look good.. Does the E One also have this issue? How bad is the reflection if the unit will be on the bottom (lets say 20 inch from the grounds)? Thanks
Are the monitors in the 51" (130) any larger than this 39" (100)? The "fire" seems the same size in the videos I've seen. How good/realistic is the crackler?
I have been obsessing over this fireplace for like 3 months. I was actually trying to figure out how to get it shipped here. So excited and glad I'm subscribed. I'm a fireplace nerd. 😅
@@rexrad9735 Are you in southern california? I found one in Anaheim. They have a showroom at 1430 S Anaheim Blvd. Haven't been myself but will check it out this weekend
I’ve seen some other fireplaces using this technology and unless you are in a dark room, sitting directly in front of it at close to eye-level you can totally see reflections off the front sloped glass. They only look real from one angle from what I can tell. Is this one the same?
I live in AZ and have been watching your channel over a year awaiting newer options like the Orion and now this KF E one. Does this model have heat? If so where it it coming out of as I don’t see any vents. Their website states no direct heat but radiant heat. How many sq.ft can radiant heat.? Ty in advance. You are fantastic to watch!
If they make a traditional version of this (more square) I think it will win. I was sold on the new Simplifire but it looks too much like a screen and the Modern Flames also looks too “fake”.

Looks like someone at the company has studied magicians and some of their tricks like angled and reflected glass to hide or highlight things.
Ha! Thank you for the nice words - I will pass them on to our R&D department (magicians).

@@KalfireFireplaces Any intent to make anything a bit taller (aka traditional) or even package it in a "wood stove" form?

This one has the least amount of reflection out of all the electric fireplacs
Is there any, on the cheaper side, without a heater?

What are your thoughts on their bio ethanol fireplaces or bio ethanol fireplaces in general
Not a fan
Installation manual says no TV above it? What do think about that?
Hmm I did not see that part. I dont see why not, but you might want to contact them .

Yeah probably. Call us sos we can double check. (303) 800-5659
Hey Trevor. Could you do a video update on the new multi-color Optimyst?
For almost 10 thousand dollars it better be good!
right?! how do you think they did?

How does this compare to the Magik Flame? The Magik Flame which is built in Colorado. Not China. It seems to use a similar technology.
I'm not sure

I need a realistic looking electric fireplace to fit into a wall where an old wall oven used to be. Only about 24". That probably doesn't exist.
witch is better ? this one or the DUR electric fire
This
They make them up to 190cm!

Richer blacks? 😭

They put a fire into a fish tank?
Haha yup! With some Tv's 😎 . These are becoming more and more popular so expect to see more!
$8,000+ … DOA

Problem: Depth of 20 inches makes this a deal breaker. I'm out!
it has a intrersting shape for sure
