Yes, do longer reviews... you're so good with the info!!! I'm shopping following you!! It would help if you show in rooms as examples of how they look finished off. It gets confusing to decide which works better in large or small settings with a TV or not. Thank you for doing these videos; such a big help!!! 😊❤

I bought a European home linnea from you, I received it in September 2022. I was surprised that it came with a nice remote that can do everything that app does. So far I love it and I just think it looks more real than the others. The only thing I added was more fire glass I bought at Amazon because I felt it needed more.

I have an open fire but thinking of switching to an electric log burner unit. Something missing on these electric fireplaces are flame cycles. Yes a gas fireplace is a constant flame but an open fireplace starts big and the ember bed gets hotter then the flames go low over a time period. Audio is a great feature on the top fireplace. I am hoping in the future they also add scents as an option. They also need to invest in more heating technology such as preset heating options and directional technology. Thinking outside the box if the fire place linked to the central heating and could be used in combination to set a temperature and also give off some heat off the actual fire. I feel electric is the future for fireplaces but probably not as a main heat source but for a focal point.

Great review. We are finishing our basement in New Hampshire and need the electric fireplace to bring the heat of the basement up from the typical 55 degrees to be more comfortable. The finished part of the basement will be 800 sq ft. Can we get by with the 5,000 btu unit?

The Orion looked good until I noticed that the same flame pattern repeats itself across the fireplace. Could you verify that this is true?
I'm still interested because they might let you download new flame patterns/other features which is cool...if it actually happens.

I’ve been checking the Orion, but there’s a new name I’ve never seen and it’s called Litedeer Homes. I notice it in Amazon and seems to copy a lot from the Modern Flames Orion. A lot less expensive too. I’m really curious about this one but there’s no customer review videos.

You can spot the duplicate sections, horizontal flame sections on the Orion and they’re all on the same timing loop. If they had just off set them by a second, you would never notice. Dumb.

With the constant changes, would be cool to see how to do an install, where if you change the unit you don’t have to rip up stone, stucco whatever and then patch it in to fit a slightly different size unit.
Maybe a metal trim that is magnet attached that goes over the front to cover a larger hole or something

    • @embersliving

Thanks for the great video! Debating between European Home Linnea and the new Dimplex Ignite BOLD - 60" for each. Would you say one pro of the Linnea is that you don't see the controls (temp, speed) like I am seeing on the front of the Dimplex Ignite Bold? It is still possible for me to create my own inserts using a certain coloured resin I believe, for the base. It's only a matter of doing some modelling for the logs themselves (which I am quite good at) and then some painting and some light sanding with some white/gray accents for realism.
