As a Spyderco addict/collector (19 and counting) I started to be a baby and not use them. So I picked up the Alycone about a year ago and its been my go to EDC since. Great little knife, sharpens back easily, and I beat the ever loving sh out of it. That and literally my first Tenacious (the one that started it all) are almost always found on my desk or in my pocket.
Years ago, i had a Subaru Alcyone and got tons of crap for pronouncing it the (correct!) way you are. Never had the knife, but that just made tons of memories flood back.

Yes, it is a good user! I love my Tenacious as well (my first Spyderco too), but I haven't acquired as much of a Spyderco collection yet!!
