Perfectly understandable on the aversion to rust but i live out on the west coast (Vancouver Island) and i have had no issues with rust on any 15V ive owned. Ive had my 15v manix for 6 months and carried it a few times a week. There has been no rust and i have only waxed the blade once
Its a dream mate. It takes that beautiful tool steel edge that bites all day and it doesn't freakin stop. I know maxamet is sharper in use but 15V dulls at a predictable rate instead of microchips like maxamet/rex 121. The microjimbo in 15V with a hollow grind should be the slicest of the lot

I’ve only had 1 Para 3 lw the was real close to center. Two other would look straight, until I released the compression lock. Still a good knife, but I prefer G-10. Great color!
Open it up my man and clean it. If you have more than one knife you better know how to do this. I don't care how knives come out of box centered or not. Open her up. If you want even better action just buy some AWT scales.
Merry Christmas! That's great steel. I thought I had it pretty good with the S45vn, but CPM15v beats it everywhere but corrosion resistance. And since I managed to get a Spyderco AUS8A black coated Delica to rust one summer in Louisiana, I definitely lean towards corrosion resistance.
Here in Bossier City, The 15v is alien quality steel….just keep it oiled periodically….it will last for your great grandkids….not kidding….edge retention is almost unbelievable…😊

You need to get a second washer to get perfect center. Old Dad taught me that one. I don't have a Para 3 yet, but I'll skip this one since I live in Alabama, the Humidity Capitol of the US.
I'd take an "off center" FRN Spydie any day over an absolute-B-to readjust off center Golden-G10 model. The FRN restricting the blade path wears away unlike linnered G10. But Golden actually does a quality control/factory seconds program Seki has some wonky bevels
Mine started out like that too, just flip the shit out of it and it will break in. You can also color the lock face with a no.2 pencil periodically while it’s breaking in and it should help quite a bit.

I love mine. Gonna replace scales anyway but the blade is so perfect i love it. Great edge and im hoping to get my edge on it fairly easily
Got one from DLT should be here tomorrow looking for scales for it. Leaning towards AWT have them on another Para 3 with Lynch clip love the setup.

Great knife all around. Wire clip is my favorite. Steel seems like a winner. FRN wasn't my first choice but they are growing on me.

Got mine yesterday and it has the worst action of any knife I’ve gotten in years so now I need scales and a washer to make it work without two hands
Oh wow that is not good. Mine was a little off, but had great action. Maybe your dealer could swap it out if they have anymore in stock.

I live in Georgia and my cruwear has been fine. 15v may have more corrosion issues though.
