I am in a discussion with a Trump supporter. He reacts exactly like this, does not address my points, thinks the world of Trump and hates the "lefties". He even thinks the "lefties" should be suppressed by Trump and does not see how that would affect the democracy.
Trump's behavior during the interviews (that he agreed to) with Stephanopolous is that of a man who surrounds himself with 'yes' people whenever possible.
He cannot cope with criticism, even when based on provable facts, so he (in the case of the car) literally walks away and in the other interviews just sits in his closed loop of "no it didn't, that's not true" denial.
Big props to Stephanopoulos for the professionalism he showed in the face of Trump's antics.
So now its "professional" for journalists to creatively edit, misrepresent, and lie to the American people? That's exactly what happened. Stephanopoulos worked for the Clintons--that automatically disqualifies him as a credible journalist.

I think the only chance is to have a truly impartial (as much as humanly possible) news network that speaks the truth. I agree 1000%. But I wish he had done more to prevent Trump from becoming President. It's sad that he was blocked from doing more good things and many that were done are being reversed. As much as I love Obama, I now think we'd be better off if McCain had won in 2008. I don't think we would have Trump if that had happened.

I think it's a conscious technique he is using of simply not letting in and not accepting ANY information that is unfavorable of him or that elicits the thought of him being unsuccessful. Even if it means flat out denying facts and reality. He programs his own mind with that technique to always being in a mindset of winning, a state of winning. This interview is quite revealing. Of course it's dangerous to neglect facts and a reject a common shared reality. But he is all about winning. It's NLP turned up to the max, to lunacy.
